I think you are missing his point altogether. I have a account that is in top 50 of the ratings, i only went for it once to see if i could get top 50 which i did. There are some imo that bend the rules for the ratings to breaking point (basically cheating) There is 1 gizmo who is in the ratings which i find very hard to believe he achieved without resorting to some form of rule breaking. It is nigh on impossible to get in the ratings until you have reached the rank of legend. In fact i'm going to say IT IS impossible. I played very smart, and at the time (before all these gimmicks and OP updates) had a strong garage which helped me achieve the top 50. @von_Cronberg Is correct. The XP boost will not help one bit if you are trying to make the ratings. Ratings imo are worked out primarily on cry to xp gained with your k/d thrown into the mix. You need to earn on a very regular basis more cry to xp in every battle you go into, and maintain a good k/d. Not getting killed at all in most of your battles is what i always achieved along with a very healthy cry to xp ratio. I had over 92 rating before i ranked to legend which i considered good. Most of the top players in the ratings very rarely (if ever) play their accounts once they have made the ratings board. One player, boris 4311 was actually above me but started to play again and now is down to 85. This can be blamed on the cry/xp ratio, which unless you break the rules, imo, will always go against you when it comes to the ratings. I played my account to do 3 very easy missions in the 1st feb challenge to get a couple of containers. I never got killed once and in the 4 battles it took to complete these missions i had about 15 kills. My ratings score went down by 2 points. It took me a long time with much effort to achieve my ratings spot and i will never use this account again, not until the system for calculating it is reworked. I done it the honest/hard way, some of these players abuse this current system and again imo cheat to get as far up the ratings as possible. To reiterate @von_Cronberg is correct in what he is saying.

If i see you and getto in battle i will make sure to nerf my main down to around 5000 G/S to give you both a fighting chance. There you go @yellowghetto a statement that is as close to the truth as any. Switching from one LEGAL OP HACK to the other more OP LEGAL HACK when they could no longer abuse the formers overdrive. There is a difference between UNIQUE and OP gear dominating certain modes with ease, with little and on most occasions, no counter before they make the cap.

And as i have already stated i have not played viking in a long time because i consider hunter better for my game play. And yes i do have the right to rip the flying hack to bits. Hold on, yes it does have 3 overdrives/abilities/effects (different words describing the same thing) it can jump, set you on fire, and stun you,=3. It's OP and should be removed from the game.

Yet more deflection away from the obvious OP nature of the FLYING HACK. If you go to my main and look at my most used hull it will show it to be viking. I have not used viking in earnest for a very, very long time. That usage was back in the day when viking was the prefered hull of most players, before the OP gimmicks we now have in TO. These imo are the facts. The FLYING MONKEY is OP and should not be nerfed, but SCRAPPED altogether. Along with EMP gauss and the AP nonsense.

And stop deflecting with vikings overdrive which is not a game changer and does not give it the ability to jump halfway across the map without firing a single shot for a mega easy cap. And vikings overdrive takes like FOREVER to recharge.

You have no idea do you. Flying cheat dominates most CTF you see them in. Get rid of their stun and burn capabilities and then we can say the flying cheat has been nerfed. Even then it's ability to jump and land on a enemy tank, and return the flag is OP in itself. It's a pathetic excuse for a tank and should never have entered TO. Cash rules every decision the devs make as usual, which in turn creates OP game changers that the noobs and P2W chavs lap up.

So exactly what nerf did it get. It still caps flags, returns flags with it's 3 overdrives and dominates in CTF, RUGBY. So in a nutshell it did not get a nerf at all.

What nerf was that? I second that, the legal cheat got no nerf at all, it can still end battles all by itself. That flying tank along with emp gauss need serious nerfing.

G/S does not always mean a strong garage. Doing a ranking system according to G/S would create really BIG problems. The entire way MM is set up has to be dismantled and a new better balanced system put in place, G/S is only a part of it.

They are trying to mask the fact that the devs have such a imbalanced game, because they roll out OP updates at will to attract the buyers. The game is unbalanced because the devs have intentionally made it that way. I'm not sure if you missed my point are not. I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

@Venerable I disagree. Adults are by far and away THE target audience. You might get the numbers up with all the no lifer kids glued to their mobiles 24/7, but it's the 18 and above that the devs target, and no amount of claptrap will convince me otherwise. TO is P2W and the kids do not possess credit cards which the devs prey on like circling vultures.

The game is made for children. Maybe back in the day, but now it caters to adult P2W------exclusively. Kids don't keep TO ticking over, adults do.
