The way to earn crystals as a lower ranked player is to play in games with people of a like rank. If you are a sergeant and play with generals, expect not to earn anything. Nuc and contaminated are of a rank that you don't have to elect to play with.

Nothing brings out cheaters more than contests with valuable prizes! May, smells like cheaters. FYI, most of the cheaters this month are not attacking flags, they are camping for the Gold boxes. Good luck having your anti-cheat catch them. They look like an average player that can't get to the flag.

Make a map that is flat and square with little to no terrain with nothing but trees so that camouflage paint actually matters and shaft snipers can see nothing but trees in their scope.

These arguments are so useless. If you like sitting in one place and OHKO get Shaft If you like to move around a little grabbing a couple of flags get Thunder No need to go into a 3 page discussion about opinions and preference.

New Statistics on the cleaning up of cheaters: Unfortunately they were just swept under the rug. With the advent of a contest with large prizes, all of the dust bunnies have come back out to play with a new exploit that makes their weapons OP. Yeah!!

At some point they have to recognize that creating a browser based 3d game off of flash is about as full of security holes as you can possibly get. The resolution is to add admins with in-game boot privileges and nothing more. It quickly fixes the problems before they get out of hand until the devs can fix the issue. At this point it is just tanki being stubborn and selective vs. them taking rational steps to actively curb each new exploit.

I am getting crushed by M1 Freezes even while I have on my freeze resistant paint with %50 damage reduction. Cheaters are back, hopefully you can fix it this time tanki. Just more proof that hackers outpace developers when it comes to exploits in the system. This game is getting to be a joke. Please start adding admins with in game boot privileges. Your application is full of holes and that should be glaringly apparent by now.

1. More deaths =/= less crystals from the fund. Points are not removed from your score for a death. 2. If your ego is so fragile that you get frustrated when someone claims they are better because of the score, then that is your personal issue.

Depends on what you view as glory. Could they get a few more crystals than you, sure, it is possible. All I know is that if I am facing down an M3 Zeus with an M3 or M2 shaft gun with my rico, I am more than happy to get them to fire at me to allow my team mates with thunder to take him out. Once the break down occurs, and the jail break is on, you have just as much a chance to come away with the flag as anyone else. Finding a way through is the important piece and if you happen to not have the equipment that counters the problem, better to give your team mates a shot at solving the problem than just having everyone sit around with their thumbs up their _________. Your other option is to lose and get nothing. I'll always take something over nothing.

Most shafts usually require more than one unit to attack it to take it down. The first unit being the fodder, the second (third, fourth) unit being the shaft killer. Many teams on blue in silence rely on shaft to hold down an entire side. It only becomes an effective strategy when red allows it to happen because INDIVIDUALS are scared to get whacked by a shaft gun. If you toss away the individual mentality and start being a team player, you will see how quickly you can break down shaft defensive structures and how many flags you can grab in the process. In kools video, if two (preferably three) team mates attacked at the same time instead of waiting around, kool would have died and more than likely be sent to the other side of the map for a respawn, that defensive position would have broken down and they would have been susceptible to a flag grab. SWAT teams don't attack one member at a time, they go in as a force and overwhelm the target. Because of shafts slow reload time and the problems associated with targeting in sniper mode when being shot at, it has some serious weaknesses that you can exploit as a group. At some point, if you truly want to be a good player in this game, you need to toss away the me and I attitude and start thinking how you can benefit the team as a whole. Your actions will be rewarded in crystals.

Per my previous post, Gold Hunters have been replaced by Gold Campers/Farmers. You will have to randomize the drop point if you want the games to be active again. While the idea and intent was good, at this point you have just switched one problem for another. Either way, I am glad that people are listening.

The gold box is still not all that random. You have only randomized 1 portion of the gold box dropping which is tied to the battlefund. If it still drops in only one fixed location on the map people will still camp at the place the box drops in hopes of getting one. If you truly want to eliminate gold box farming, drop it at a random interval at a random drop point. Problem solved.

Shaft is not that hard to take down if you play as a team. 1. Check the armor on the unit.... 2. Send out a freeze or isidia as a sacrificial lamb, once you hear the sonic boom... 3. Attack it with multiple rail and thunder units if it is zeus paint, or multiple rico's if it is jade paint. Done.

Yes they are. Most new flag hackers when they start out do this very action. You will immediately take out a large portion of new hackers that will be riffed that they spent money on something that is being clamped down on. Of course they will refer to their hacker forums to see how to beat it, but if you keep creating more layers and more layers the complexity eliminates the kids looking for a quick gain. Automated security is about layers of checks and balances, and this is layer #1. Layer #2 would be speed of movement. If you hop from one coordinate to another without meeting any of the coordinate points in between, auto-boot. Layer #3 is allowable limits of crystal gains and XP gains.
