Even if low ranked buyers are able to get status augments and even have crisis as a possibility or Armadillo, they would only be able to max according to their ranks due to restrictions from the mk system. As I said before, low ranked buyers or not they are punished by higher ranks that have maxed gear score due to EXP Boost. Plus the recent container nerf wouldn't even be worth buying for even buyers knowing how the rewards odds are worse.
  2. Having fast XP boosted experience punishes lower ranked players that don't have proper equipment. Even if they did buy, it would be rendered meaningless since the players they might face have max mk 7 equipment.

    I wouldn't call it a huge nerf for its crit ratio. It was too high from the start. As long as you weaken an opponent easier it still functions just fine. The pre-nerf crit was just dumb with the effect.

    S+ Tier for group usages sure. I thought A tier on how it performs on its own. I know this may be off tangent but I think the best immunity to use against AP freeze would be cold immunity. You would still have time to get away or fight back if your cornered since you can still use boosted damage bonus with the immunity on. This is the current immunity I'm using right now.

    So when a strong status augment like AP freeze gets nerfed in a way, it sucks??? I use AP freeze myself and I still average 25+ kills with hornet/Hunter/ and Etc. on and could have even used booster or crisis. I considered pre-nerf AP freeze as broken since my badger module did nothing and my Armadillo was rendered useless against this augment. I would use AP immunity but that augment would still shred my max armadillo and badger to bits . I still think the current AP freeze is still considered strong. I would rate the current AP freeze an A Tier. The pre-nerf would have been an S+ tier pertaining to status augments.

    Honestly, I don't think that duplet is completely unplayable as a non status augment. However I do agree of it once being one of the best at one point. However I think duplet hammer does fine if it has the meta drones or if someone that likes to always charge in and does better with the augment. I guess its just me. Recently I used duplet on a light hull such as hornet/Med hull such as hunter/crusader with max engineer.(Booster and crisis would work the best with the augment, However I like to use engineer for recovery as I raid in with duplet.) I think it does well for a non status augment...It does about 980-1080 per duplet shot if you are close enough without boosted damages if the enemy isn't wearing wolf module. So to me its somewhat useful not useless. I think stock tesla is balanced its just the status augments for tesla that makes it OP.. The only status tesla that I can see as meta is EMP, and AP tesla since its the most used. Possibly Jamming and Freezing tesla is up there as well.

    I mean its OP and cancerous if they are in groups. Rather than themselves. Or if they are using the meta drones to make the thing so annoying to go against individually. But pre-nerf paladin was sure OP by its self and groups. But I will not deny that it is still strong.
  8. I never said EMP Gauss didn't need a nerf. If you read my posts carefully, you would have seen me already say that I agree with a some type of nerf. I was just stating my reason why status gauss isn't considered the most broken when comparing to other status augments.
  9. Am I reading this right? Or am I losing my mind... You can't be serious about this can you? I own ap freeze myself and despite the "nerf" it gotten, I am still able to get easy kills with it. Can you please explain why you think it sucks? Because to me I still think its strong especially if the user is using hornet with it.

  11. I myself use Railgun a lot and my most used turret. I can say that incendiary rounds can perform slightly better than EMP gauss. The fact that I can peek corners and shoot is a lot more effective for one since it can instant hit. Secondly, it honestly depends on how the player uses the augment. Also a gauss player would have to reset its lock on every time a player hides behind the wall. Thus why I put incendiary rail a little higher than EMP gauss because of the easy peek and shoot tactic. I find the peak and shoot tactic more annoying than a status gauss trying to lock onto me. No you would be surprised how much better cryo twins is. I have noticed a recent freeze status buff that now instantly freezes the target for all cryo augments. Despite cryo twins having limited range, the fire rate along with the instant freezing makes it more potent. Hell even I can say Freezing tesla is better than status gauss. You should really see how I play my Jamming hammer. Jamming hammer is my personal favorite augment. The fact that I can disable drones for a short amount of time especially rendering lifeguard and blaster useless and canceling out Boosted damage, Armor, and speed bonuses and preventing others to use their OD makes makes this thing so deadly. Also this thing is a nightmare to go against especially if you jam lock them. Hence why I think jamming hammer is more threatening than status gauss. Also when I use this augment I don't use the 4 drones, I use the Engineer drone with jamming hammer especially if I'm the type of player to raid into bases. Engineer is really handy for recovery well charging in. Personally why I think Jamming hammer ranks higher than status gauss.
  12. And whats wrong with not giving up. I actually enjoy good solid arguments like this. I am not being jabbed in any way. The problem I don't like is people giving up too easily. I actually haven't had this much fun in a long while.

  14. Hhhhh lemme tell you this and I am only going to say this once. As someone that pretty much owns almost every single status augments for all turrets, you can't really say which status augment is the most broken unless you have everything to compare in separate groups. There is also a ladder within status augments. So saying status gauss is the most broken is not entirely true. Sure people that don't have the augment may or will say its the most broken augment, but for someone else who has everything will say its not the most broken. But I will tell you that there are other status augments that do a way better job than status gauss. Stun striker, incendiary rounds for railgun, cryo twins, Jamming Hammer, EMP Rounds for Railgun, Emp Freeze, AP Freeze, and Jamming freeze. If I were to place them on a tier system for status augments, I would rate these augments in the A-S tier. Personally status gauss would be placed in the B+ tier. Look, I am not saying status gauss has to be stronger I am saying that there are better options to choose than status gauss.
  15. I have thought about modules more lately and I wrote in that person's topic recently. This was my solution to help fix modules. (Pertaining to modules) As for status effects yes I see that there needs rework but it would be better if they fixed how modules worked. Then work on status effects next.
  16. I think the main problem does not lay in just status effects. The main problem would be modules. Instead of trying to change the mechanics of a status augment fully or any other augment, they first need to fix how modules currently are. Sure status is a problem but I see modules as a bigger problem.
  17. Whats your definition of balance? Our opinions have changed over the years because the game is always changing. I am just saying what is currently happening at the moment when the changes happen.

Sometimes I question peoples train of thought or who thinks that they are entitled to form on an opinion without trying things themselves or think that they don't have to play the game to know the meaning of balance. I have said my piece on why this is so... If you can give a better explanation why this change can or can't work your comment is pointless.
  19. I say it because I think its overkill and a bit too easy for me to use. I honestly wanted it to have a nerf to challenge myself and make it more fair for others that don't have the right equipment to counter me. But my sole reason is for more balanced gameplay and more skill based strategies. I guess its a dumb reason but I really want more diverse skill based gameplay well being balanced of course. Being competitive is what keeps me playing this game no matter what happens.

    You should equip Orca, Owl, Shark if you have 3 slots. If you have 4th slot, you can either use Eagle or Griffin.
  21. Well it doesn't fully stop a gauss player really in a sense knowing how I play my Gauss...What I would do is raid in with gauss with engineer with owl protection. So when I do charge in and use super shots, I wont take the harsh consequence when using its super shot at point blank. So in a sense removing something or decreasing something like this will indirectly make my play style even better. I wouldn't even mind if I'm going against single targets. So either way no matter how its nerfed it will not effect my play style.
  22. But it still was a good offer for those who still want to play. You know you are not obligated to play this game hence its on the person. I will say that giving away 2k+ tankoins for free was a good and generous knowing the fact that tanki usually don't give things like in game currency away in that quantity for free . Also the mission was fairly easy, all you had to do is be in the winning team at least once a day. so there shouldn't be much of an excuse at all.
  23. Status gauss already has 25% reduction damage from its sniping damage. I see no point of removing its splash completely with the effect. However , I do believe that gauss should have its crits removed completely for its EMP augment and AP. But there is a problem removing them completely, it may indirectly buff gauss players as I have already mentioned above. Also even when removing splash damage completely, this would make a gauss player be more of a threat. why??? Imagine a gauss charging in with the meta drones such as booster or crisis. Lets say I am using crisis and I'm charging in for example. I would be able to raid in with charged shots every single time without a consequence and be able to destroy targets easier. Hence why I also believe removing splash completely is not a great idea especially if its a status gauss. That would be OP
  24. After reading this, I think the status Gausses are balanced currently. However, I do agree with removing the crit damage completely. As a gauss player myself I will admit the recent EMP status effect buff is overkill. But I think it should be allowed to still group kill hence its primary purpose to use the super shot is to get group kills. As for removing crits completely, this could be seen as an indirect buff depending on a persons play style. Why??? You are giving more power to status gauss to be able to destroy people with armadillo easier since armadillo only resists crits. Hence why this can be seen as a buff.
