My bad, it's 25%, so it's very slightly disadvantaged at max damage range. Ok if my math is correct, sledgehammer only loses to stock thunder between 80 and 120 meters, with the highest difference being a 11% dpm loss at exactly 100 meters.
-
Assuming the wiki is correct and sledgehammer truly brings the range of max damage down to 5 meters at m4, due to the linearity of the decrease, at 100m (Stock range of max damage), sledgehammer will deal 68.3% of max damage, while stock thunder deals 100%. Too bad sledgehammer also shoots 30% more frequently, so this difference is negated. At both higher and lower ranges than 100m, sledgehammer still provides more DPM. So... It's a direct upgrade.

Well, it's "only" 41k, so maybe it can prove its worth somewhere where I can't really attack. Else it'll be a waste but that account has large amounts of waste anyway  so many m2s without a purpose.
-
I've had a losing match where the lowest player in the enemy team had more score than our 3rd, and I still had a 1.75 D/L throughout it (And it was a slaughter).

I'm assuming he means one duplet clip... Or booster is common enough.anyway.
-
Hornet requires way too high protections to survive anything, and protections are expensive.
-
Should I consider support nanobots at all with a 16/20 isida m3? Sometimes I like to chill out with isida mammoth in my base.
-
Sadly no, it was viking isida.
-
I'm locking on just fine with gauss M2, even head on with enemies, with the slippery slope viking is. On a 4 star rank account so I face high rank people. Maybe someone's gotta git gud with it?
-
I just bought sledgehammer on my other account @Chameleos and it's completely insane, first match with it ended in 19 kills 1 death with a rank range up to field marshal! :o
-
Well there's your problem, you're using that slippery paperweight thing
-
You can resume lock on within 1 second, if you take longer it resets.
-
I found lock time is really short and I was using an m2, I don't see how m3 would be "ridiculously slow". Have you actually seen striker's aim time? :\

*shrug* I joined in 2011 originally, and they never swayed away from flash, so maybe there's hope now.

Here's hoping you'll fix the endless amount of "an error has occurred", and freezes in game.

It's down to preference, hunter if you wish to own a stun capability (Even drop flags in a pinch), while dictator if you wish to have supplies active for quite a bit longer (It's significant when you can keep double damage active for at least 1.5x longer than usual). I prefer dictator to be honest, the turret placement is important too and the height helps with aiming up/down for splash turrets.

In my experience, every time I try an 1v1 I get killed first, since the account has bad modules (It's from the paint era), and because the base dps is pretty low, and then they heal, and the entire afterburn is wasted... May as well get the damage boost and ignore the burn effect. The only easy kills I've scored were during hornet overdrive and double damage, but that's to be expected. I'm quite sure I've consumed more enemy repair kits than that entire account is worth. But that does not benefit me.

I think plasma accelerators would do better in MM maps, being able to fight at range is a great upgrade.
-
You know, if turrets weren't able to oneshot heavy hulls from anywhere in the map (And unfortunately there are many, plus adding the 2 shot variants), maybe camping would be less encouraged.
-
It's when you need m3-4s to compete that you cannot sway from one combo, if you wish to have it well upgraded. Because modules are extremely important as well, and those are pricy as heck.
-
That doesn't matter if you can't do it in every map MM throws you in. And any railgun will OHKO you from nowhere anyway. Heck I've had 80% of my HP go away in 1 shot on a titan m2 with 41% rail defense! Just now.
-
Maybe because all the hornets that get good scores or do well in battles are camping ones? Ambushing is not always possible, are you suggesting they sit behind cover until an enemy comes in case the map isn't fit for them? There are railguns that can oneshot viking m3.5 with 33% protection, an hornet has no chance at all.
-
I'd go with siberian, the damage boost of viking overdrive isn't big enough to warrant using on these short range guns, meanwhile completely removing enemy drugs does much more than the viking overdrive would, since it's literally 2x damage on most cases.
-
There are turrets that literally oneshot heavy tanks, if you nerf modules to 35% they'll oneshot protected medium hulls...
-
So you're saying I should camp and wait for them to come, at which point I may as well use railgun or similar. Seems the only saving grace for firebird is incendiary mix, because everything else is quite the garbage, as the afterburn effect is too unreliable to be of any use, and the fuel tank finishes too quickly.
