Bruh. This serious discussion is on a non-serious topic. Now, the non-serious topic is the "declining sense of humor and diminishing respect for well-known and archaic trolls". Take it easy! LOL

Serious Discussion on a Non-Serious Topic
Venerable replied to Venerable in Serious Discussion on a Non-Serious Topic Archive
Heyo Tankers! Recently we Forumers witnessed a very interesting discussion in the Egg Hunt topic (in the News and Announcements section). The great (former) Dictator Flexoo pitied all lowly tankers and decided to help make this world a happy place by compiling the links to the pages with hidden eggs and posting them for the benefit of every tanker who aspired to get 36k crystals with minimal effort. *cough* that includes me *cough* :x Well, two well-known and very old (trolls) Forumers decided to attack Flexoo with (knives?) angry posts, and other players actually took them seriously. People. Listen. Adriel.RB and Issimo are super old guys on this Forum, and if you spend a few (decades, perhaps?) minutes going through their profile and their posts, you will find that they have been trolling away like bumblebees (and I made that phrase up, so it's supposed to mean they have been trolling a lot... like, a lot). They enjoy enjoying themselves and help us laugh a bit too. I am very concerned about the declining sense of humor and diminishing respect for well-known and archaic trolls who have survived the changing times and have persisted throughout the various changes made to the Forum, just to continue practicing an extremely sacred art, Trolling. I mean, Forum Moderators also need some work. Please, don't take stuff so seriously, especially if it spews out from the sacred Forum account of Adriel.RB or the not-so-sacred Forum account of Issimo ... I hereby sentence every Forumer who ever took Adri and Issimo seriously to 68.999 years of house arrest. You have committed a heinous crime. -
Basically there was an Egg Hunt, were certain "virtual", 2D Easter eggs were hidden in various places like the Forum, Wiki, and the announcements of the main website. On each page, irrespective of whether the page had a hidden egg or not, an icon was present in the bottom left corner, which had to be clicked in order to check whether the page had an egg or not. The picture in your post (which I've quoted above) is that very icon. It was similar to Puzzle Game which we had in August 2020. Alas, the Egg Hunt has now concluded.

Ah yes, I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I received your entry. Also, it seems to be within the word limit, so no issues.

The challenge is "Find the Tank", and this is the 3rd edition. Hence the "N.3" which stands for "number 3". "Find the Tank" has been a part of the Newspaper Challenges twice before.

You need to first leave and then I ban you forever so that you cannot join back and we're good. You don't need to do anything, sir, for we have admitted you already! We're very fast people...
-
I think that will do, Adri. Let asem have some memorable 1v1s and you can stop trolling now... This was quite an enjoyable discussion but before a Forumod yeets you, migrating away to another topic cough Fight Shin cough from this topic is advisable. Also asem, don't mind adri, but beware. This is just the tip of the iceberg LOL I'll add you on my Marshal account and maybe we'll fight one day when I get more Mk7s...

While it is normal to have so many doubts, I'd suggest you to think of it this way: What would you tell yourself if you had these doubts? You'd check the topic again, find out those points that concern your doubt, and nine times out of ten you'd know what to do. If you have a question even after that, do not hesitate to ask! I'll answer your questions all the same... ? The very first point in "Note" says that your story need not be Tanki-related. You have been given that freedom. You should not change the ending as that is a part of the challenge! You have to come up with a story that fits perfectly with any one of the given endings. Even changing "he" to "I" means that you haven't tried well. Think a bit more, think out of the box, and you'll come up with a good story that fits with the endings without having to alter them. Yes, your story can be dark, but in that case avoid describing violence and gore. About your last point, I will check the form later and let you know whether I've received your entry or not.

Oh hi guys! We waited for 2 full weeks but managed to get only 5 legitimate entries. Therefore, we have decided to extend the deadline by two more weeks. If you still haven't participated, get your rusty brains (or CPUs ?) whirring and send those stories! Hi, as you read above, we got very few entries. The deadline has been extended by 2 weeks. Also, results are usually announced within 1-2 weeks after the end of the contest. :)

[Fools] The Dictator - Tanki's Finest News Source
Venerable replied to Venerable in [Fools] The Dictator - Tanki's Finest News Source Writers' Corner
Ahahahaahahahaa You thought we'd spare your eyes and not hit you with text-walls? Meh. Not possible. We're sorry that we don't feel sorry. Enjoy this special edition of The Dictator! Admin scams FR Reporter by @LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH @brother_of_pro has brought to our attention one of the greatest crimes of the century. According to him, @kaisdf was to give him a whole 1000 cookies as reward for something (IDK, Sabry didn't tell me why he was to get 1000 cookies). In reality, he has only received 990 cookies. Can you imagine? Forever more, Sabry will go down in history as "the 990 cookie guy" as opposed to the 1000 cookie person. Well, that is he would have, if not for me chiming in (yes, I'm super generous)! When Sabry asked for 10 more cookies, I spammed at him 47 more cookies, so I guess he goes down as the "1037 cookie guy" lol. Armadil-low? By @Venerable When the Developers introduced the all new Critical damage update, a Critical Protection Module, called "Armadillo", had to follow by default. Why, you ask? Um... just don't ask. Anyway, they soon faced a problem - the armadillos were assigned a "Protected" status by International Union for Conservation of Zoos [IUCZ], and Tanki heavily depended on them for said prized Armadillo modules. The IUCZ was quoted as saying that zoos all over the world were facing shortages of armadillos and that Alternativa better switch to alternatives lest all zoos lose a visitor or two. When the developers pointed out that lions or panthers helped the zoos get more visitors and that armadillos hardly mattered, the IUCZ changed tactics at the speed of light and began talking about the huge impact of faulty CRafting tIcket Selling IndustrieS (CRISIS) robots, supplied all over the world by Alternativa, on the automatic ticket selling machines installed at various zoos (last time we checked, only three zoos had this facility). After the IUCZ put political pressure on Alternativa and did not get intimidated by a horrifying image (which was supposed to threaten them), Alternativa had to finally give in. [In the spoiler below, you will find the horrifying image. Caution: View at your own risk.] And hence, tankers, the Developers added this precious module to Ultra Containers, to address the concerns raised by the IUCZ. GFs in Demand By @Venerable Who doesn't like a GF, especially in Tanki? I mean, having a GF in Tanki is supposed to be against the rules, but hey - we still find some disgusting people typing this in chat: Just looking at such posts makes me a bit angry. Animal conservation is the need of the hour, and yet we see such irrational people searching for GFs... I really feel bad for Giant Frogs... Let us all campaign against this animal abuse! Support this cause by using the hashtag #SaveGFs! Enjoy! -

Design a Helper - Results!
Venerable replied to Venerable in Design a Helper - Results! Newspaper Archive
We had some really good quality entries this time around and it was quite hard to decide upon the winners. After scrutinizing each entry and rating them all on the basis of various criteria (the major ones being the criteria mentioned in the original contest topic), I have arrived at a conclusion. Without further ado, let's see who all won prizes! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In First Place we have @Lose, who designed a witty Helper position based on his famous guide-making skills. He will receive 60,000 crystals ?and 6 containers . Link to Entry In Second Place we have @Amar, who was overtaken by Lose very narrowly. For his golden entry, he will receive 50,000 crystals ?and 4 containers . Link to Entry The Third Place was taken by @mjmj5558 and @intestinito who will get 40,000 crystals ? and 2 containers each. Link to mjmj5558's entry Link to intestinito's entry Consolation prize winners @Bydo and @Volturo will take home a respectable amount - 25,000 crystals ? each. EDIT: I almost forgot... honourable mention - @At_Shin, who would've surely got 11th place had he not crossed the word limit by a few hundred words. On a serious note, this Forum Moderator also designed a wonderful Helper position which made this contest even more enjoyable. Check out his entry here! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Congratulations to all winners! -
I can give you some feedback, but only after the results are declared. Until then, I will refrain from commenting on your story. All I can say is that I received your entry. ?

Totally up to you. You can begin with anything, but it should fit in with the story and the ending shouldn't be changed. If you think differently, this could even be a non-Tanki story! By that I do not mean that you write a story on another game (I'd not recommend that ?), but it could have something to do with robots, for instance. The possibilities are endless. There is no "appropriate" or "ideal" entry/start/beginning for the story - anything will do as long as it's coherent with the plot. You are bound only by the ending.

Tatsumaki bot is just a fun bot with a few mini-entertainment features. Commands like "t!rep" only give you "virtual reputation" which has no use tbh, while commands like "t!daily" give you "credits", which are used in some fun features of the bot (like slots and fishing). Tanki Bot is another fun bot, but it also has some useful features - some of them being checking the number of online players in the game and checking your Tanki profile. Most of the other features are just for fun and are not linked to your Tanki account (like opening containers and buying items).

O.o o.O Lose yourself in this fantabulistical guide written by two very venerable writers... Anyway guys, enjoy! I had a lot of fun writing this guide with such an amazing writer, Lose, and I really hope you all find it useful and enjoyable! High-five, Lose!

Yay! I finally reached the milestone of 1000 Forum posts! ? It was rather unplanned tbh... but it feels really great. This being my 1001st post, I'd just like to acknowledge all the support given to me by various fellow forumers and helpers (the list is too long) during my initial days on the forum (on the account "SHREYA88") and also in the course of becoming a Newspaper Reporter. The best part is - this is just the beginning!
