I think there are few annoying combos, and most have already been mentioned above, but the main thing that makes any combo OP and annoying is Supplies, preferably paired with an optimum drone (Crisis, Hyperion, Trooper, and others favoring usage of supplies). I've seen invincible Titan + Magnums, Smoky Autocannon + Titan, Vulcan (any augment, especially IB) + Any hull with Heat Immunity, and even Firebird-Vikings having 20+ kills and single digit deaths. In all cases I've seen seemingly never-ending supplies. I remember once that an Isida-Mammoth managed to reach our base, activated OD, and luckily our Juggernaut escaped. Hoppers aren't that annoying tbh. I don't see many Hoppers around, as compared to the time just after its release. I personally use it only on mobile. I mean, I've managed to catch so many golds recently without another Hopper competing! XD The most annoying combo for me is Magnum-Hunter right now, Magnum AP or Mortar and Hunter with any Immunity... I especially hate those players which manage to land their shells right on top of me with robotic precision... :c

Beautiful, isn't it? There's beauty down under...

I'm disappointed. You didn't use cringeomatical even once, and your ramblings took less than an hour to read. LOL jokes aside, I enjoyed reading this!

Huge Congratulations to the Best Helpers of the Year 2020!!! I've had the privilege of interacting with some of them, and those were really fun and enriching experiences! (and it's still fun to interact with those wonderful people on the Forum and Discord) EDIT: oh and congratulations to the Best Helpers of December! I didn't notice the topic before due to HOTY...

review Scrutinized: The Great Modification Update

Ah, thanks a lot, PR! This helps clarify a lot of things... -
Nice so my inference was correct. Thank you Issimo!

These missions will be available one at a time, as far as I've inferred from the main post and the V-LOG. Each mission will last 24 hours. So today we had "use 21 Repair Kits", and maybe tomorrow we'll have "use 21 Double Damage"... And so on.

LOL @Dosheg thanks for flipping... I could see you rage when I captured the flag you brought to our base...

The website seems to have a LOT of elements (I don't know the correct term), and it needs a very strong PC to load properly. My laptop couldn't seem to handle the strain, and the browser stopped responding many times... But I finally managed to send the wish.

I loved everything about the new skin except the front part... :c

Wow, I loved the new style of the recent announcement topics! Some special missions are doable for casual players, and that's good. Let's hope MM is fun this time!

LOL I agree, but my point is this: GS is only indicative of strength of equipment, and not always skill. Especially in the current MM, where low-rankers can get OP combos.

If the weekly container(s) got opened, I'm 99% sure that you received your rewards. Easiest way to check this is measuring the change in the number of your Tankoins (as Tankoins are very rare, and even a small increase/decrease in their count is noticeable). Each weekly container gives you 3 Tankoins. If the weekly container(s) did not open, then refresh the page. The containers will reappear. In case you are still doubtful that you did not receive the rewards, then please contact Tech Support via this link. Alternatively, you can email them: help@tankionline.com

You have to turn OFF "Mouse Controls" in the <Controls> section of Settings, in order to turn your hull. This applies to all hovering hulls like Hopper, Ares, and Crusader.

To be honest anything less than Mk4 Protection modules is pretty useless at Brigadier rank. You sometimes have to fight Legends, and Mk7 turrets are hardly affected by protection modules, unless they're like 35% and above. I'd suggest you focus on hulls and turrets (you still have decent prots) first, get your desired combo to the desired level, and then spend the leftover crystals on protection modules. As At_Shin mentioned, that you can buy a cool Mk7 kit from the shop when it's available for crystals, and you'll even get an Mk7 protection module with that.

I didn't really refer to public battles or specify that there are other players around you. Imagine a 1v1 situation (which is possible even in crowded maps), where a 7k GS player is not turning their turret, and a skilled 2k GS player simply moves around them, avoiding their shots. It'll take time, obviously, but the ultimate winner here is the 2k GS player. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough. BTW, I've seen 2k GS players beating 7k GS players in XP/BP. Though I admit the situation wasn't always 1v1... But yeah, there was one time when the 2k GS player managed to dodge all shots and killed the 7k GS player in 3 shots. I still stand by my statement. I don't quite understand what you mean. I never said skills aren't important or anything similar. And why do you say "equipment is a marginalized thing"? GS doesn't show anything about your skills, nearly all the time.

TL/DR : Yes you should always warm-up before running and cool-down afterwards. Warm-up should include preparing your joints (stuff like rotating your shoulders ten times, rotating your ankles etc.), and cool-down should include stretching your leg muscles. Do you warm up before any rigorous physical exercise and cool down afterwards? I used to get out of my house, go down to the ground below, and simply start playing football or something similar. Then after the match got over, and the adrenaline stopped coursing through my body, the aches began. The walk back home was painful, and I would wince slightly every few steps. It took me about 2-3 years of this routine, and a good friend, to realize what I had been doing wrong - I never prepared my muscles for the physical workout! To add on to this, I never cooled down, and my muscles never fully relaxed after playing! The thing is, it pains after the exercise, but when you to the same thing the next day, it doesn't hurt while you are doing the physical activity. That's because of adrenaline, which sort of numbs the pain, or rather, doesn't let your brain acknowledge the pain. Then when the adrenaline wears off after the exercise, the pain starts all over again. So after this pain-cycle became regular, I told my friends about it. They were stretching down on the grass, and they simply asked me to stretch my muscles along with them. The next morning I realized that my body wasn't aching so badly. So after this experience, cool downs became a part of my life. I haven't been through such painful phases ever since. Then during a school fitness test, we were asked to do "standing broad-jumps" (jumping as far as possible with both feet leaving the ground together, as opposed to using one leg to push off the ground). I practiced the jump many times by the time my turn came. By the time I reached home, my thighs were hurting like crazy... after that my sports teachers explained the importance of warming up to me, and since then the pain has been almost negligible (unless I do some really exhausting stuff). So warm-ups and cool-downs are very important!

I do care about my GS but the poll questions do not represent my opinion in any way. It's not my "status marker" - I don't really care about being intimidating and having a "high status" just coz of GS. It's definitely not just a number. And GS doesn't show how tough one is - skill and experience do. You can have 7k GS and not turn your turret and a 2k GS players easily skirts around you avoiding your shots and slowly, but steadily, reduces your health. The GS represents how strong my equipment is and nothing else.
