Do u care about your gs?

I didn't really refer to public battles or specify that there are other players around you. Imagine a 1v1 situation (which is possible even in crowded maps), where a 7k GS player is not turning their turret, and a skilled 2k GS player simply moves around them, avoiding their shots. It'll take time, obviously, but the ultimate winner here is the 2k GS player. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough. BTW, I've seen 2k GS players beating 7k GS players in XP/BP. Though I admit the situation wasn't always 1v1... But yeah, there was one time when the 2k GS player managed to dodge all shots and killed the 7k GS player in 3 shots. I still stand by my statement. I don't quite understand what you mean. I never said skills aren't important or anything similar. And why do you say "equipment is a marginalized thing"? GS doesn't show anything about your skills, nearly all the time.

    Let's Discuss Fitness!

TL/DR : Yes you should always warm-up before running and cool-down afterwards. Warm-up should include preparing your joints (stuff like rotating your shoulders ten times, rotating your ankles etc.), and cool-down should include stretching your leg muscles. Do you warm up before any rigorous physical exercise and cool down afterwards? I used to get out of my house, go down to the ground below, and simply start playing football or something similar. Then after the match got over, and the adrenaline stopped coursing through my body, the aches began. The walk back home was painful, and I would wince slightly every few steps. It took me about 2-3 years of this routine, and a good friend, to realize what I had been doing wrong - I never prepared my muscles for the physical workout! To add on to this, I never cooled down, and my muscles never fully relaxed after playing! The thing is, it pains after the exercise, but when you to the same thing the next day, it doesn't hurt while you are doing the physical activity. That's because of adrenaline, which sort of numbs the pain, or rather, doesn't let your brain acknowledge the pain. Then when the adrenaline wears off after the exercise, the pain starts all over again. So after this pain-cycle became regular, I told my friends about it. They were stretching down on the grass, and they simply asked me to stretch my muscles along with them. The next morning I realized that my body wasn't aching so badly. So after this experience, cool downs became a part of my life. I haven't been through such painful phases ever since. Then during a school fitness test, we were asked to do "standing broad-jumps" (jumping as far as possible with both feet leaving the ground together, as opposed to using one leg to push off the ground). I practiced the jump many times by the time my turn came. By the time I reached home, my thighs were hurting like crazy... after that my sports teachers explained the importance of warming up to me, and since then the pain has been almost negligible (unless I do some really exhausting stuff). So warm-ups and cool-downs are very important!

Do u care about your gs?

I do care about my GS but the poll questions do not represent my opinion in any way. It's not my "status marker" - I don't really care about being intimidating and having a "high status" just coz of GS. It's definitely not just a number. And GS doesn't show how tough one is - skill and experience do. You can have 7k GS and not turn your turret and a 2k GS players easily skirts around you avoiding your shots and slowly, but steadily, reduces your health. The GS represents how strong my equipment is and nothing else.

Death of the Forum - And its Revival

Sup dull Forumers You all know that the Forum sorta dies if the latest post is more than an hour old. Now we're gamers, and respawning is in our blood. All we need to do is post something worthwhile before the forbidden hour is up, and voila the Forum has respawned. (Yay.) The Forum is currently dead. You're bored. The Forum mods are itching to hide a post or move it to some other topic or just ban you. Some long-forgotten idea is waiting to be revived. The newest update or V-LOG is bracing itself for criticism, which might never come if you dull Forumers let the Forum just die. Rise and revive the Forum, O peopleisms of this *insert word meaning game, forum, fun place, thingy, etc* ! How can you do so? You could actually dig up the very last idea on the very last page in the I&S, and valiantly reply to it. Or you could bring out the critic in you and find faults with the update you love. Or you could revive some archaic forum game before Spy gets there (this will be tough, mind you). Or... You could post anything here. Anything worthwhile, that is. That anything should of course follow the Game Rules and Forum guidelines, and must not offend or hurt or disgust or excessively horrify or intimidate or embarrass or (you get the point) anyone. That anything must be enjoyable, most importantly. It may or may not make sense. [Beware, if I find senseless beings finding sense in your post, I'll make sure to ban you (at least in my dreams).] In case you haven't already read the whole Game Rules twenty times when you were bored, I'll list some main points that must be kept in mind before posting anything here: 1. No profanity, suggestive content. 2. No account sharing. 3. No flooding, spamming, flaming (setting someone on fire or provoking and isulting). 4. No hating. (That's my rule ok now don't hate me) 5. No double posting. Unless you really mourn the Forum's death. (That's my rule too) Ok now enjoy. Good luck. I'm bored. May the Forum not rest in peace.

Baby Shaft - A Baby Shark Parody

Thank you very much Sabry! Absolutely. Unfortunately, this parody was about the true Shaftsmen out there: like Akame, and the Mobile Snipers team. Campers and KD conscious Shafts have no place in this parody. Great idea! Count me out tho I remember Jay singing a parody that won the Song Parody contest (Benefactor won the third place)... I dunno whether to ping him for this lol... Here's the link to Jay's video: That was my first Agatha Christie read, and it was simply mindblowing. Such an amazing plot! I'd like to recommend it too! You've been thanked doo doo doo doo doo doo

    [Results] Gear Score Hunt

Ooooh Palindromes would be cool, and even rarer. Maybe you could have 2-3 parts of the contest, like for the first part we'll have to submit a palindromic gear score, for the second part we'll have to submit a gear score having a certain number at both ends (say 3, so 3xx3 will be the correct GS), and so on. Or the GS could have three zeroes, and the winner gets the same number of containers as the non-zero number. Tbh the possibilities are endless...

    N.O.O.B.

It pains me to see that members of the Bureau (official and unofficial) aren't actively compiling their works of art, that is, acts of Noobishness. It appears that the ancient and majestic practice of Noobishness is slowly but surely losing its appeal, and more and more tankers are turning into Pros, a very dangerous prospect. I plead to all those venerable Noobs out there - revive this noble species! Do not let this epikalistical race get endangered! The future of Noobs is in your hands (and mine)! Rise, O Aristocratic Noob, and thou shall be rewarded with... with... a lower KD ratio! I couldn't think of anything more attractive at the moment. Fare thee well, and may thou succeed at failing! Warmerest Regards, Venerable [His Epikestness Le Great Master etc. of the Noobs' Omnipotence and Omnipresence Bureau]

    Celebrate ranking

Oooh this looks so coool!!! I'd love to see this implemented (the Goldbox dropping, 31 per player throughout their career + ranking up notification in-battle for everyone to see)!
  13. Why haven't you guys closed this topic yet? The Greatest of the Great Le Suprémè Léađeř Riddler has already declared this thread to be outdated, and has demanded its closure!
  14. I love the sales and special missions! But I'll definitely not have time to finish the time-bound missions, which is sad... Solo JGR is something to look forward to, not to mention the increased gold drop rates...

Post Your Unpopular Opinion About Tanki

I think you didn't notice the problem because of Plasma Torch. Also, as Shin mentioned, Twins was the go-to turret for not-so-skilled to noob players, because there was a time when it didn't inflict self-damage, and the speed of the plasma balls was more. Now, however, it has problems like the self-damage and slow speed of plasma balls. You'll find noobs using it only because of nearly zero reload time.

    Complaint Book

The Forum is (or was?) undergoing maintenance, and hence is not fully functional. It looks different due to the maintenance stuff... this news was made public on Discord, but I don't know why they haven't posted it in the forum...
