    Is Technology Bad For Animals?

Overpopulation on Earth could be a viable reason for that. But I don't see it happening any time soon. The theory of evolution by natural selection is so far the best explanation of the facts. In fact we see evolution occurring today, for example, some species of bacteria become resistant to antibiotics. Moreover, remember all those new Covid-19 variants that kept popping up? That's evolution at work. It's really a foundational principle of modern biology, supported by overwhelming scientific evidence and accepted by the vast majority of scientists (even religious ones).

    Is Technology Bad For Animals?

Well yeah, humans have much more evolved brains than other animals, even other apes. That’s what helped us grow as a species and populate most of the planet. And I would say humans can be harmed by tech too, just as other animals are. It’s how we use that tech that is the question. Generally speaking though, I’d say that taking an animal out of its natural environment would be the most harmful, which sort of already happens in a way because of humans and their tech (e.g. by chopping down forests and placing roads instead). But that is also applicable to humans - after all, we can’t survive on the moon or in the ocean without some sort of tech to help us.

    Is Technology Bad For Animals?

In biology, an animal is defined as a multicellular eukaryote with an internal digestive tract. Humans fit that description. With regards to the Bible, I would defer to something like this.

    Humans are animals.

    Tanki Fund

I think it has something to do with the machine in the background of this image: EDIT: In fact, I believe it might not be related to the 15th tier of the fund, but may have to do with AI-controlled tanks that populate battles and make up for the lack of players LOL
  8. Perhaps, but what special secret reward was there last time?
  9. I agree, however with some of these funds it’s not impossible that the devs could be artificially inflating it so it has the appearance that lots of players are buying.
  10. It would be funny if the fund never reaches the 15th tier and we don’t find out what that super secret reward is.

    Tanki Fund

It’s no surprise that Belgium and the Netherlands banned TO for this very reason. And as countries across the EU toughen their laws against gambling/loot boxes in video games, it’s only a matter of time until TO won’t be playable in a lot of places.

I don’t think you would want Disney to own or operate this game.

    Tanki Fund

So much for it being unique to the Dark Matter mini-game.
  15. It’s not like the devs will sit and monitor what you’re doing on the press account, is it? I doubt there’s a quota or any limit in place. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong though. Oh you mean those augments in the free tier that get nerfed almost immediately after the challenge ends or, in some cases, even during the challenge? Gotcha. Now tell me how many batteries F2P players earn on average per week.
  16. Not like you would know, as someone with a press account with fully upgraded equipment, virtually unlimited supplies and all the best augments. But yeah, keep talking about how you find it “funny” when people complain.

    Tanki Online turns 13!

No “Tanki fund” this year, eh?
  19. More people spending a little is better than a few spending a lot. Devs should have prioritised the occasional buyer over the chronic spender. For example, by subtly encouraging purchasing the battle pass and making it worth it rather than pumping out expensive offers every week.
  20. New maps, new game-modes (for the battle list, not MM which is a failure), new themed skins and shot effects (not destroying the uniqueness of modifications by releasing old textures as skins), and last but not least, alterations rather than augments. TO is and succeeded as, an arcade MMO game. A functioning Matchmaking system and a P2W business model are mutually incompatible. Devs need to pick one and forsake the other.
  21. @Opex-Rah Why won’t you consider reverting back to the battle list? MM needs players to work effectively but no new players are joining because of the P2W business model you’ve chosen. You can’t have it both ways.
  22. Imagine a double or triple shot Railgun with a super long reload after that. Just something I was imagining lol.

    Let's Discuss Challenges

This is nostalgic to me, even though I started playing shortly after the graphics update in 2012, because most popular youtube videos of Tanki back then were from before the rebalance and graphics changes.
