The devs need to just admit that Matchmaking is a huge fail. Their chosen business model and a fair, balanced MM system are mutually exclusive. You can’t attract new players because of the P2W nature of the game, which in turn means that MM is broken and mostly unplayable. They need to just revert to the battle list as it allowed everyone to play the style of game that they wished, whether that be using a short-range combo on small maps, XP/BP, camping on large maps, Polygon CPs, Silence CTFs, etc. The devs’ argument about mults and sabotage was weak as it was a relatively rare occurrence. Restricting ranks, equipment usage and battle length (like it is with PRO battles atm) will undoubtedly lead to more balanced and fair battles. It just all comes down to the dumb business model that they’ve adopted and it pisses me off.

Haha, paints are useless to me so I’d gladly trade them for anything else. Pretty much the only paint I use is the Moonwalker paint as I’ve had it on this account since the Farewell to Moonsilence event in October 2013. I know you can get it from containers as well these days which sort of ruined how special it was to have this paint, but it’s nonetheless one of my favourites.

Oddly enough, I’ve recently gotten both of those from free containers, after you mentioned them a few weeks ago. Container RNG has gotten really weird so far in 2022.

RRE requires a different style of play. Use your arcade missiles rather than the salvo. As an example, this pro player uses RRE a lot:

Sounds like you’re arguing for the sake of arguing. Devs will always follow their overall plan for the game (unless something goes catastrophically wrong, e.g. if 90% of the playerbase simply disappeared overnight). When they do listen to specific player ideas, it’s usually focused on minor cosmetic, balancing or bug issues. But they follow their overall plan nonetheless. So even if the whole community somehow “unites” and suddenly shares the same opinions about the game’s direction, as you implied, I think it’s clear Hazel will nevertheless do his own thing. (Probably because he thinks he’s smarter and more experienced than everyone else but that’s a totally different matter).

The community is thousands of people with different individual opinions, some of which happen to coincide.

Alright. Well remember that I’m just theorising based on my own experiences with container rewards. It may or may not be like that in actuality.

My theory is that those who spend less time in-game have slightly better container rewards, probably to encourage them to spend more time in the game and/or spend money in the shop. For example, I basically only play to complete daily and special missions (although admittedly these last few weeks I have been playing a little more than usual), but generally speaking I don’t play more than 30 minutes a day; rarely over an hour. And interestingly enough, my container rewards have been consistently good, giving me at least a legendary almost every time.

How much do you play on average?

Nah, Camper is still laughably bad, especially after last update where they made Magnum’s splash radius huge. A Camper drone user won’t be able to hide from a semi-decent Magnum.
