So since I felt like I wasn't gonna get the help in time, I decided to make my own decision. I chose ricochet protection. I didn't feel really annoyed by hammer. Freeze is strong, but it'll get a nerf sooner or later. Smoky was only annoying because of autocannons crits. And I wasn't really annoyed by vulcan, besides all that'll change is that it'll take a bit longer for it to kill me. So I went with ricochet protection.

I can turn that trend around real quick.

On this account I have 477 TKs and plan on using it plus 23 more to buy the third protection slot. Planning to buy the protection during sale while I wait for the slot, so that by the time I unlock the slot, I can just equip the module. However I don't know which module to buy. I already got shaft and Tesla modules. I don't have a splash turret, so I definitely don't need any splash turret modules. Gauss isn't so common or deadly as it used to be, neither is railgun. I don't find magnum to be annoying at all. So those choices are eliminated. I have decided to pick between freeze, hammer, ricochet, smoky, and probably vulcan. So which one is gonna be the most essential to have protection against?

Striker/crusader is the thunder/Viking combo for hovering hulls. It just works so well. For striker, I use RRE augment because its alot of fun. I'm already doing super well with RRE, so I don't see any reason to change to cyclone or uranium.

I do got a question though. If the augment allows shaft to move while in sniper mode, how will that work when they want to move or aim? Will it require a different set of keys? For example, if moving uses the arrow keys, will the aiming bit use the WASD keys?

Well, I agree, they should keep it rare. However, I don't expect them to keep it behind challenges forever.

One word: money. They'll go back on their word eventually.

They'll eventually make it available to purchase in the garage, shop, and earned through containers and missions. As for the delay, we will have to wait and see if they add it. My hunch is telling me that they will botch it like alot of others they have done before.

Imagine if a wasp has hundreds of these supplies and starts spamming those bombs in enemy base. It'll be like mines in parkour but much much worse. Imagine hopper spamming jumps to get to higher places with ease. Imagine crusader spamming its icicles, it'll literally be a secondary turret, same with ares. Imagine Viking getting this over and over again. Imagine titan using back to back domes. Imagine mammoth using this as a better speed boost and killing everyone on the way. Now I want you to imagine how fast players would finish the OD missions with this supply.

So wasp bomb now inflicts burn, jam, stun and emp. Why so many status effects? Wouldn't burn and jam be simply enough?

40% protection for light hulls. I don't think it would be abused since the user would have to be low on health to take advantage of it. Now that I think about it, it probably wouldn't be very useful anyway.

How come there's no option C?
