Viking also had its fair share of hardship after the global update of 2016 which took away its old weight, up until over drives were added. Also you're not mentioning that hornet also had a low height, maybe not as low as Vikings but still.

Actually hornet didn't require any skill to use, especially when you could equip defender drone and heavyweight augment. Viking had to stay exposed for 7 seconds in order to maximize its OD potency. Hornet can just hide behind a wall and it'll still maximize its effect. Hornet with a high damaging shot turret just needed one shot, and the Viking would be dead, and they often did the peek a boo tactic.

So smokys rounds bounce now? If so, I may have to take back what I said about smoky being boring to use.

I've never heard of an augment that has both splash and ricochet abilities in it. What in the hell!?

I'm gonna assume that the disadvantage is having splash damage be removed.

The longer the battle, the more you can score in that battle which results in raking in more crystals in that battle. The stars might be an issue though.

You answered it. Well, the armadillo is another matter, and so are protections. I think in a one on one scenario, hammer would lose because of longer reload, and in maps with more than one elevation, if Tesla already has the high ground, its an automatic win or even behind a wall. I've defeated many hammers with Tesla and been defeated by Tesla when using hammer many times, so it seems that Tesla is hammers Achilles heel. As for freeze, its a bit more tricky. Granted that freeze is better at head on combat than tesla. But if the map has many elevations, then Tesla would certainly win. -

Yeah, but freeze and hammer both need LOS while Tesla doesnt. Plus Tesla deals a ton of damage per strike and a very fast reload. -
Meh, only good things about it were the sales and 12 minute battles.

I enjoyed it too. Much more fun than 7 minute battles.

Controlling the middle section plays a crucial role for the high elevation team cause it provides them with direct access to shoot right into LE teams base. And since the middle section holds the majority of the supply drop boxes of the map, HE team would easily hog all of them since they just need to jump down. Also what side routes? There's only three routes, which is more often than not heavily protected by team HE. While HE has many different routes into LE teams base. But how many of them were actually full? I bet not very many, amirite? Only a few would be willing to be on LE's team knowing that they'll be cannon fodder to team HE for the majority of the battle.

Noise really needs a massive revamp to even be playable again.

The real problem with noise was the map itself. The higher elevation team was always able to exploit the flaws of the map which include: - shooting down into the lower elevation teams base from their own base. - lower elevation team's spawn points is cramped, allowing high elevation team to get fast and easy kills. - lower elevation team is unable to shoot up into high elevation teams base. The release of magnum and Tesla has only magnified the long standing problem with the map.

I'd use it more often on some of my accounts if I was put into small or medium maps more often. Pretty much qualifies for all melee to short ranged turrets. Instead I'm put into large to mega maps more often than I like, so I have to end using mid to long range turrets if I don't want to be an easy cannon fodder.

I wouldn't call that a problem since you can also get stars from missions now.

I've been noticing that when someone is killed by an overdrives burn damage, the kill feed counts it as a turret kill. I think its misleading the way it is now. I mean how can a smoky kill 2 or 3 players at once? Or even isida? So I say that the kill feed should show the OD icon if the player got killed by the burn damage inflicted by the OD. -
I've seen it happen quite a few times. But my problem then wasn't the augment itself. It was the fact that there's no indication of groups. If it wasn't in a group, then I see no reason for the player to need to use isida, especially when there are things that do its job better.

I know, I was just saying what I was thinking. Besides, if support nanobots got nerfed then no one would ever use it because there just would be no point when there are other things that can already do a better job at it.
