  3. This is interesting. I'm normally not the biggest fan of Deathmatches and I'll skip them or just play on my alt the whole weekend. But this time... it's actually really fun! (At least from the few battles I've played.) And I got third place more than once! And I actually caught a single gold and might have gotten two if I hadn't gone AFK right by the drop zone 15 seconds into the alert! And I don't think it's cause I got any super new fancy equipment... cause I didn't get any super new fancy equipment. And the buyers are still there... what's different? I put it down to two things. One, the maps. Normally it's Bridges and Polygon, which are boring as heck, or the Berlin/Dusseldorf/Kungur rotation, which I can't stand. But this time we've got Chernobyl and Rio, which are literally two of my favorite maps. Campers can't do much... and no one turret really stands out. It's great! So much action, diversity, and I might have actually been able to complete a mission if I had more than one day cause I'm gonna be gone all Saturday and Sunday. If I could, I'd tell the devs, please keep putting these maps in the rotation! It's fun! (And for gosh sakes stop it with Berlin I can't stand that map.) The second reason... the extended time. I can get kills and earn more crystals, there's less wait and more action, and I can even go AFK for a second without losing half of the crystals I would have earned. So if you're gonna extend the battle duration, do it soon! This is so much better. That being said, 15 minutes is still slightly too long for me. 10-12 minutes, as has been said by about a billion people since I started reading the forum months ago, is perfect.     Hello and welcome to "Being a noob with readyfireaim." Today I show you the best way to realize that the gold is there but not know how to catch it because you don't remember that the ramp was there. (That gold was sitting there for 10 seconds unattended while I wondered how to go get onto that platform.) Brain fart is wonderful. Edit: please ignore the glimpse of my wallpaper behind the image.

    I honestly don't understand why everyone hates hovering hulls. In my opinion, they're just another cool addition to the game, catered towards mobile players. How nice. And it doesn't hurt PC players in any way. Okay sure Hopper is broken, but Ares? Crusader? They're completely fine IMO. And if Paladin is OP, well, so is Tesla. It's not the fact that it hovers so much as the fact that it's new. Honestly, why do so many people hate hovering hulls?

  8. Oh no... I upgraded Ares over Mammoth just for the speed. (Okay the OD is cool but Mammoth's is just as cool.) Seriously? Does this mean you'll nerf Wasp? or buff Hornet and Hopper? I liked being fast!
  9. Here we go! I can never complete missions, I have no good hovering hulls, and I most certainly do not have a well-upgraded Hopper. (My whole garage is a hot mess.) And I can't catch golds. Time to have a blast failing! See y'all in battles. Oh yeah, why 15 minutes? 10 minutes is fine, 12 minutes is bordering too long. I've been reading the forum for a while... I feel like 10-12 minutes is a common consensus.

    How would that work... cause you can't really pick up equipment (disregarding supplies of course). Ngl that would be fun though... imagine just casually finding a B0-NK turret lying around.

    Here's a game mode idea... Name: Overdrive Attack (or just Insanity) Mode: Deathmatch Drones: No Overdrives: Keep reading Drop zones: Yes but keep reading Equipment: whatever you have equipped Gold box increase rate: yeah no I don't want this to be declined so Extra stuff: (oh boy here we go) This is the fun part. Overdrives do not charge up passively or through battle points. Every drop zone on the map is converted into a Nuclear Energy box drop zone. When you pick it up, your Overdrive charges to full and activates immediately. So you have to time it just right. If you're facing the wrong way with your Crusader, you'll shoot into a wall and explode. And you could wait to pick up the box and activate your Wasp bomb until after three other people are charging you. So there's a lot of strategy involved. (And if there was a gold box increase which I am not suggesting cause I don't want to get this declined, then you could include so much more insanity/strategy.) Also, it's event only... otherwise insanity ensues.

    Acceleration Protocol or Dilatory Protocol? I have Acceleration on my alt and it's super fun, but with the Wasp I main on my main account, it might not even be enough. I've never tried Dilatory Protocol, but I might use it like, just fire the ball and drive away and let it do the defending for me. (I hope that made sense.) Or maybe Minus-field? That one's okay but not super useful.

    Nerfing the shaft (turret)

    Me watching this thread play out for three weeks before actually linking my email and saying something be like Shaft is... well, isn't it supposed to be the one-shot turret? Yes it's annoying as heck when my cute little 7-2 Wasp with BA and a terribly-not-upgraded drone gets destroyed 15 times from that one stupid camper, but I think that's more on the fact that my Blaster is only 4/20 and I have no Eagle module rather than he keeps sniping me to the ground. I dunno. Is Shaft supposed to be a one-shot turret?

    I dunno... it might... but then again, it might not. It depends on if people actually use it. No one really likes using support hulls much (from what I've gathered), and whoever wants a medium hovering hull is probably gonna stick with Crusader. Personally, I don't think it's gonna become that popular, which is sad cause it would be really helpful. I, for one, will probably use it though.

  24. Ehh... I feel like we have too many bouncing augments already. This would turn Twins into literally just a fast-firing Ricochet. (I have played Tanki for over a year so I'm not just some kid joining for the sake of being super negative BTW.)

    12 minutes battle duration

    Well hello! New guy incoming. Let's see if I do this right, shall we? Personally, I enjoyed the 12-minute battles... they swing back and forth a lot more and keep you playing "in the game," as it were. Many battles I played were constantly changing and it was a whole lot more fun to play in battles where you really can't let up. And with the recent change of the number of kills/captures/goals/what have you per match, longer battles are pretty much a must. That being said, two things: one, twelve minutes might be slightly too long. 10 minutes might be more fun; it gives you an extra battle or so every hour. And it's nicer when you're in a one-sided battle. It ends slightly quicker. Second, three stars (or one if you're me) is way too little for a 10-12 minute battle. As are 500 crystals. The rewards should be increased. Maybe 5-4-3 stars?
