    Oh my. I just realized. I recently created a new alt and am playing Freeze/Hornet... and dang that combo is OP. Just use the OD, you can kill a juggernaut in five seconds. And now we'll have a supercharged 5x +50% damage... dear gosh. You're right. If any of these updates is gonna be game-breaking, it's that.

    Crisis's Speed Boost needs to be nerfed and that's all there is to it. I can't stand Crisis. But hey, Supplier got a buff. Useful.

  4. You've got to be kidding me. Don't we have enough AP-game-breaking augments?? In other news, more missions, more decorations, DM mode, la-di-dah. Pretty normal for an Ultra Weekend.
  5. I really like this idea. It would force people to actually get some skills for their turrets they want to upgrade. Although there is the slight issue that um, what happens to crystals? This might work better. And sadly, I don't think it will be implemented. But it's still a great idea.

    This one seems unnecessarily complicated. Why screw with them? Not that it matters that much, but still. Lower ranks? Cool. Driver looks to be a nice drone to use now. Trooper... ehh no. I main it on an alt and that decrease is rather sad. But they did make up for it with the decreased reload. Engineer? Never used it so can't really judge, but from experiencing it, I'm guessing this is just a minor nerf. Well, nice to see more drones at a lower rank. Sprinter: never used it. I don't think anyone ever used it. Can't judge. Miner: oh my goodness. That's a buff. Except for the reload. I feel like this is gonna be the next Saboteur. Supplier: Well, I was expecting a much more significant buff for my main drone. But any buff is welcome. Assault got pretty much nothing. I wonder if this will make it more noticeable on the battlefield. I never noticed it that much. Lifeguard got kinda sorta a nerf? Should be interesting to see how that plays out. Mechanic got a definite buff, even with the longer RK cooldown. More battle points for you Dictator users! That's a weird change to Blaster. Mines? Huh? Otherwise nothing really seems to have changed. Saboteur got a nerf. Oof. Good thing I didn't buy it. But I'm guessing that it's still gonna be too common in Rugby/CTF/Assault matches. Camper: can't judge. Gotta wait for the rework. Great. Booster's overpowered. Defender's been nerfed. And Trickster has a huge buff. If anything's gonna mess up the game balance, this is it. We'll just have to wait and see. Then again, they are all now obtainable rather late in the game. That's good. Eyy I can finally use Hyperion but it's not that important but still that's cool. Crisis. Um. Great. I can get one-shotted by Isida more quickly now. The armor nerf isn't gonna change anything if the Crisis guy can run up to me and destroy me before I can blink. Not looking forward to that. Overall, eh. Not a lot of overwhelming stuff here. I feel like there is something that is really going to be super weak or super powerful, but I have no idea what it is yet. We'll just have to wait and see.
  7. I could not agree with you more. That was impressively well said. It's one step from the armor to the speed to the weight to the acceleration to the stability to whatever else is left. I think that overall, Tanki is losing its uniqueness. I joined the game over a year ago cause it was so... different. Not like every other tank game, which are pretty much FPS's with terrible graphics. Tanki really attracted me because I can pick and choose what I want. I can be a sniper, a healer, whatever. But now we've got Hammer applying every status effect in the exact same way. Railgun applying every status effect. Smoky is obsolete after the critical damage change that gave crits to every turret. Hunter is obsolete; why go up close when you've got EMP Gauss and Stun Striker? The list goes on and on. It's sad, because in my mind, the uniqueness was one of the main reasons Tanki attracted so many people. And now the unique aspect is disappearing. Even now with the Nuclear Energy; now the orange box isn't exciting any more. So if I could do one thing to Tanki, it would be to make each individual mechanic unique again. (And remove that godawful EMP Gauss augment, of course.)

    There's actually a movie that was released about two years ago called "Spies in Disguise" featuring Will Smith and Tom Holland, and I read this title and thought "We're bringing Will Smith into Tanki now?" Aaaaaaaaanyways. I mean, I get the idea, but I'm not sure it would work. What's to stop your teammates from thinking you're an enemy and shooting you, then going and complaining about the no-damage bug that popped back up? You'd probably have to make it so only your enemies saw you differently. Then again, can you shoot your enemies while disguised as one of them? If so, that's kinda overpowered, and it blows your cover. In my mind, "Cloak" or simply "Disguise" would be a much better name for this OD. (Will Smith vibes intensify.) And the hull would be Ninja or something similar. Unless it's an ability... but then it feels like a status effect and dear gosh we do not need any more of those. I feel like the invisibility OD on a hull like Phantom that's been suggested a billion times would be better. But still weird. Although I will not lie; having this in the game would really be super fun.

    In my mind's eye, Paladin will come out in the garage, be super OP, get bought by everyone, then get nerfed to the ground after three months of three quarters of the playerbase complaining. Augh I see it too and now I can't unsee it! My eyes! "Eye" don't understand why you did this to me.
  13. Not a bad idea! Most people don't help out their teammates by cooling them down/heating them up, which is rather irritating. More incentive to do so? Sure! I'll take it.
  14. Shh don't make me feel guilty for wanting the augment. This actually needs to happen if and when we start getting Healing Pellets for Hammer. Hopefully that doesn't happen, though, because in all honesty I feel like there should not be more Isida doppelgangers on the field. Even just Shaft getting the augment doesn't work. It makes no sense.
  15. No, my friend, actually, Stock Isida without Vampire Nanobots is the turret that was supposed to be the healer. But now Shaft Healing Emitters exists. So my poor 7-11 Isida is slowly becoming obsolete.

    Honestly, the whole status effects thing should not exist. I like to think of things from a scientific standpoint (don't scream "Isida!"), and sure, if you wanna carry an onboard nuke on your tank that's fine. But an onboard flamethrower nuke that shoots electricity and radio waves? Nahhhhhh. So I think every status effect should be removed, disabling other ODs should be removed, damage should be buffed/upgrade-able, and range should be buffed/upgrade-able. The bomb is supposed to be a one-shot for pretty much everyone, but that doesn't work at any rank from Major up. It's solely a damage-dealer that can be placed in just the right way to have maximum effect, not a flamethrower.
  17. Will y'all ever consider adding back the old Trickster as an entirely new drone? I never got a chance to use the old Trickster and I've always wanted to.

  19. Okay those are cool. Incredibly cool. I want. I now think this is a great idea. Although technically maps such as Scope and Industrial Zone do have itty-bitty indoor spots (mostly tunnels).

    I don't think the countdown should be adjusted/upgrade-able, but definitely get rid of the status effects and disabling the domes and Ares's ball. In my experience, Wasp is just a damage-dealer. Maybe the range could be upgrade-able as well, actually.

    I agree with this one. At high ranks, Wasp can't do much. Maybe the damage should be an upgradable thing like Crusader's OD?
  23. Woo! I actually did it! I honestly have no idea how I did it. I couldn't play at all Saturday and normally it takes me five or so days to complete the battle point missions... I guess those longer battles are good for something. Then again, the feeling of actually earning the UCs was significantly greater than the actual result of opening those UCs. I have 15 regular containers... now let's see what I get from those.
  24. Nah. I understand the concept and where Tanki was coming from when they created this. It's better than a whole new status effect; by the time they hit Jammer there were too many effects in the game. But I never considered Nuclear Energy to be a supply, at least not in the same way that Speed Boost and such are. But now Tanki has decided that that's what it is, and they're gonna make this new "insta-OD" super rare and stuff it in a challenge. Of course, the P2W tier has more cool stuff in it, including more insta-ODs. And with all the recent and potential updates that make the only unique thing about hulls their ODs, this really isn't good. Now P2W players will get even more kills, while F2Pers struggle with the fact that this only restocks every two weeks with some work, so should they use it or not? Like, overall, it makes sense. It just isn't gonna work out.
