valid Adding a Punishment Appeal subforum under the "Game Violations" section
Moraine replied to Aisha in Ideas and Suggestions
Only helper teams that can ban someone are chat, battle and forum moderators. So only admins in charge of those teams are in charge of bans and should be contacted. It's also pinpointed in the topic available on Helpsite. -

Under review The point of appealing to admins privately is to protect everyone's right for privacy - it's not nice nor it helps the overall atmosphere in the community if everyone's bans are known and gossiped around. Therefore, making a public section won't do. The other issue is that most players do not use nor visit forum at all, every banned player on the chat knows where to complain since mods are informing them every time they bring ban issue publicly + they have topic about it on Helpsite but majority simply don't wanna bother. The Administration will discuss pros and cons and see what might and if anything should be done. It can work if the section is pre-moderated, like this one, and each topic is available only to chat admins so they can review it and answer/make players notified afterwards, we'll see... Thanks for the suggestion :) -
Don't express them in written form then, can't you be like other gamers? You are getting banned for forum offences, not chat ones.
-
I merely want you to focus on the battle and not on what other players type. Or what you might type :)
-
Kindly contact me via pm next time RU mods ban you so we can review them. Do try not to get banned though, mind your language at all times and even better, disable the chat in Settings before going into battle :)
-
Only if you are Russian player or you spend a lot of time in RU community chat. Almost all EN community players have mostly EN ban reasons, just like most Russian players have ban reasons in Russian. Same goes for players of German community, Polish community etc.
-
RU mods cannot ban in EN community chat, no helper of one community is allowed to work in other communities. As for battles, we tried for many years to organize cooperation with RU mods, for them to work with us on dealing with offences in languages they do not speak but unfortunately, we didn't succeed (not for the lack of us trying). There isn't any irony nor hypocrisy, mods are simply volunteers who cannot possibly be online 24/7. Even an army of mods wouldn't be able to cover every second of every channel, seven days a week, across all time zones - we tried and failed in the past. So we're doing next best thing, something we actually can do and that is to make sure players are covered and protected during those times that mods aren't online - isn't it good that you can mute someone forever with a simple click of button, without chasing mods to ban them? Besides, not all offences are bannable but there are still people who get offended and I find it awesome that players are able to take matters in their own hands and block anyone whose behaviour bothers them.

Mainly to assist and guide players on the chat, especially those new to the game. Most of them do not know where to find particular information or how to protect themselves so chat mods are there to help them. They are also first ones that players reach to when it comes to latest updates and changes in the game. Furthermore, they are keeping order on the chat and deal with issues players have in real time. Maybe you don't need chat moderators but plenty of other players do :)

Please continue to trust us and believe that we're doing our best for everyone enjoying this game and again, if you have any further complaints regarding this topic, please send them to me privately.

Ofc I am... hence problems with my knees ;)

We've been over this for more than a year now, as explained here and in numerous other topics on the forum, like here. Players have been taught to use in-game options to block players who bother them or disable the chat completely, to customize their playing experience and set options to their liking and it's been a good experience so far - the system works. No one is forced to read what other people write nor to get into a fight with anyone, with few simple clicks. Now kindly read suggested topics and if you have any further complaints, you can address them to me privately. Thank you.

The Ignore option works always, especially if mods are not around. I'm glad you agree it's good that players have multiple in-game options to customize their chat experience in this game :) As for cheaters or mults, please discuss the issue in this topic.

Hi, all chat bans are done according to the rules, no mod bans without the reason and proper proof and yours was given to you last night in pm. Also, number of bans and their duration doesn't have anything to do with being a moderator or an administrator, we all ban according to the same rules, which are explained in the text posted on the forum. So instead of complaining for justified ban, I suggest you to mind your language and attitude in the game and prevent yourself from getting banned in the first place.

Hey, I still didn't get on my knee for you, u know? :P

Am i the only one? (language and other problems with rushians)
Moraine replied to jimihendrixx in Archive
Next time you visit Spain, Italy, France, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium... see for yourself, movies are dubbed :) In most of these countries communicating in English with locals (especially in smaller towns and remote places) can be quite a challenge. -

If you read this topic, you'd know we're already doing something about it. You don't have to use Russian in order to play this game, it's a matter of choice if a player wants to learn a few words to coordinate better with his/her team-mates. Russians can also learn few EN words in order to better coordinate with others... it's all about choices and compromises :) -
Am i the only one? (language and other problems with rushians)
Moraine replied to jimihendrixx in Archive
I know for a fact that in many European countries people don't speak English at all since they are nurturing and focusing on their own languages; all the movies that are originally in English are synchronized and they don't have much opportunities to learn or practice English at all, especially if they didn't travel abroad. It is visible in EN community every day on the chat, that's one of the reasons we are hiring moderators from different countries, so they can help players by speaking in their own language. Also, saying that "Russian mentality of most players is egoistic" (aside of a few exceptions) is too much, I really wouldn't generalize like that... As you can see, we ARE listening. And answering. And explaining. Please try to listen yourself. -

Would be best to ask them directly. -
Actually, on Northern Hemisphere the summer lasts till September 23rd so astronomically (and meteorologically) speaking, it's still very much summer :)

If their behaviour and lack of engagement is directly influencing the course of the battle, you can report them for sabotage. -

@ @Total_SkiIl Armenians and Georgians understand basic Russian too. Just writing the route where flag is going or from where the enemy team players are coming (and how many) should be enough for your team-mates to understand what is going on. Russian words for such basic info you can easily learn from the topic I already mentioned. I also doubt they wouldn't understand "flag, left" or "2 from the right" in English. So yeah, you can find a way to communicate, you only have to try.
