The servers are just too slow, lethargic and (sadly) pathetic for the programming. Still getting shot through walls. Or this: Or this... (please note, any delete-happy people, these are all valid--and separate--complaints)
  2. I do not disagree with anything you have said. Unfortunately every excellent point you have made does not make tanki money. Or else they would have implemented it.
  3. Except that balance in the game doesn't make money. You know what makes money? Absurd augments that people keep buying.
  4. But lets be honest. This thread is titled the current state of tanki. And you know it sucks. You. Know. It.
  5. On that we agree. And the best hackers are never caught.
  6. I'm not so sure that is an accurate statement. Especially when this is your comparable time frame: And also especially how the reporting system for hackers evolved (or rather devolved) over those years.

Tried to pin a tank against a wall to keep him from moving. Tanki's sub-standard programming caused me to phase-into him then raise up on top of him. He rotated his turret and one-shotted me. That's what over 10 years of programming experience gets you.
  8. Which is probably about 80% of the player base...

If that is your perception of my post(s) then you seriously need to go outside and touch grass. Imagine! A complaint in the COMPLAINTS thread... you don't say! You DO realize that complaining--and no one spending money on this game--is literally THE ONLY WAY it will get better, right? Better prizes, better game play, better anything. Tell me you at least have that basic knowledge.

I would never, ever waste a single penny, euro, rouble, drachma, rupee, yen, or djiboutan franc on this game. Complaining about a game, and being in a position to waste 40$ on that game aren't connected. I can complain AND have 40$ to NOT spend on this game, lol. I have higher standards for where my money is allocated. But maybe I will rephrase my statement to make it more obvious for you. The Owners of tanki love people like you. They reward your financial loyalty with updates including the most recent tesla buffs and isida nerfs. Or maybe the PT Barnum quote is the only one needed.

You proved your own point. PT Barnum loved people like you. Interesting that you took my criticism so personally.

So... there is STILL no release date? Am I correct? Yet they charged money... a month ago, was it? y'all got hoodwinked. btw... well done making the validation list. mommy would be proud.
  13. Hahahahahaha!!!! Oh man, getting perpetually one-shotted by teslas. I love watching the people come here and talk about which turret or hull they should buy. Tanki buyers are the equivalent of people who believe the earth is flat. They debate and haggle over which one is better or worse as if they've forgotten that it only lasts until the next terrible update.
  14. Shot through a building again today. This time by a rail. Can we stop making excuses for bad programming yet? Or are we still pretending that this is a good game?
  15. So many to choose from today. SO many. But I think the stupidest sight I saw in tanki today was getting shot by an enemy juggerjoke THROUGH a building. Wasn't lag. Wasn't a cache-clearing issue. Or whatever other excuse they usually give for a bad game. It was plain and simply the stupidest sight in tanki today.
  16. Not sure I have ever said 'greed', but I could be wrong. I understand that it is a business and have said so many times. Even had to remind congo that--despite his time and emotional investment in tanki--they don't care about player satisfaction. The grocery store you mention above is real. The people buying from the store in your example are of lesser intelligence and higher emotional volatility than someone who knows how to use their buying power to their advantage. There are a whole range of other (mostly) negative behavioral generalizations to be made about that demographic, but my post will probably get deleted for making someone cry. So, you'll have to just infer. BUT... when game integrity is compromised for the sake of money, that's SOMEthing negative. Proof (among the thousands of other things): current tesla. And it still has to fail before it gets better. Just like that grocery store. No one buys from it, prices come down or the merchandise gets better to compare with the price charged. Why pretend you didn't already know this?
  17. So... you DO know EXACTLY what I meant...
  18. If people get complacent and continue to buy things here at tanki, then the owners and developers have ZERO reason to change their strategy of money being more important than game experience. If people stopped paying to play tanki, the owners (developers) will change their strategy to bring back players and (however briefly) change their strategy to have a better game experience versus making money. Thus, in order for the game to get better (from a player perspective), it has to fail. Not rocket science, my dude. If you had no idea of this concept, Im not sure what you tell you. Remember the failed 16 v 16 in all maps? You'd better believe they changed that one in a hurry because people stopped playing (and paying) so fast...
  19. Sorry if this hurts your feels, bro. The most recent 'edition' of gauss should prove to you--beyond a shadow of any sane modicum of doubt--that the devs have ZERO interest in making the game better. I keep trying to tell you that a better game is not the objective of tanki's owners, thus it is not the objective of ANY of the developers. Money--and how to make more of it--is their objective. I stopped trying to make the game better via constructive criticism YEARS ago, bro. The only way tanki gets better is if it fails. You know this. You. know. this.
  20. You're arguing the semantics of paying for tanki. You're arguing tanki will suck if you have to pay for it. You're both correct.
