I'm genuinely curious how you'd expect them to operate any different than how they are right now. Your two points (business + friendly environment for free players) are not mutually exclusive. They are linked and completely working against one another. Because tanki is run by a 'private company', I believe there is a different reason for the lack of tanki release date. Just sayin.

They sometimes take criticism of tanki personally. Like, they attach their self worth to the game itself. As I said before, Milgram syndrome; following orders regardless of how silly they are. Maybe they'd rather 'fall on their sword' than accept that their masters work with dishonor...

Nah. Very few players actually care to come here any more. I come here to complain and watch the forum die. AND (more recently) to watch long time supporters of the game slowly turn against it. They finally see what I have seen for years. There really IS no community anymore (except the people who work here and that guys mom who keeps posting.). And I mean, all my complaints are valid. The current version of the complaints thread is the THIRD new thread started. 3rd. The other two were too full to continue. But when you look at how many pages are in the '*new* report a bug' thread, you quickly realize it ISN'T internet connection that is the problem... But fixing my complaints won't make tanki more money. It's a business in the shape of a game. So... ?

Hang around long enough and you hear the same complaints and the same excuses.

Kicked out of the game after 30 seconds of being juggerNOT again. If I actually was moronic enough to pay money for this game, I'd ask for it back. PLUS interest.

It literally tells you all you need to know. What could the picture of the other side tell you that this side doesn't? The only other pic I got was earlier in the game--after about the one minute mark:

Exhibit A. This game didn't get any better after 90 seconds. In fact, it didn't get any better at all (after 4 minutes). So I left. I am not even close to being at 'fault' for this match at all.
