  1. They know. I don't think tanki has ever said--ever--in any of it's published literature, that they provide a 'fair' game. They designed it to specifically BE unfair because it makes tanki money that way.

more mods/admins today than tankers... Who exactly is this forum for, again?
  3. and again today. 9 minute mark and kicked out. SO glad i don't spend money on this junk. And what's with the spontaneous self-destruct of the magnums? Is that a new programming gem or a happy little accident?
  4. Just wait until you start getting kicked out of almost every match around the 9 minute mark... Or when you get that 'damage lag' that used to be exclusively a bot phenomenon--if it even registers as a hit at all...
  5. The Current State Of Tanki Online
  6. I can't imagine he'd post anything after some of the comments in this thread.
  7. But you know it's designed that way on purpose. Somehow money is involved but I can't connect the two behaviorally.
  8. Tanki's rapid progression 2025 reward system All the advancement without any of the playing time.
  9. I feel Congo's statement is accurate. Sometimes, I notice that my wasp isn't zipping around the arena as fast as it normally would be (compared to previous battles). I've never compared the arena's gear scores to assess the reason. I just assumed it was most likely a server issue. Although your explanation for your experience wasn't denied, indeed it is 'fascinating'.
  10. What exactly dictates which tank phases through another tank (and which tanks you can't phase through) during non-spawning?

^^^^ Never has that statement been more accurate.
  13. Not sure why my rebuttal question was taken down. But I guess that's the new moderation of the TCSOTO--as I referred to. I said that the only thing tanki takes seriously is profits. Therefore, I would not expect to be taken seriously within this forum unless I somehow add to that. (Although, I suppose it could be argued that there are some people in this forum that take me FAR too seriously. I'm sure you can guess who they are.) Same question, but to you. My--now deleted question was--do you expect to be taken seriously here?
  14. So then can it be inferred that they are no longer collecting forum feedback? Or just feedback generated via the complaints thread?
  15. I always had the opinion that TCSOTO was specifically for opinions of the game itself while the Complaints Book was an umbrella topic for complaints for 'everything tanki' (including the forum, for example).
  16. 3 times. I found that out when someone corrected me when I thought it was twice as well.
  17. And I'll just assume you closed that loophole where... - I post something and screen-shot it. - You remove it because that's how your feeling today. -I post the screenshot in the complaints and wonder why you deleted it despite similar posts staying up
  18. Hey @Maf , speaking of 'forum lore', how many times has tanki closed the complaint threads and re-started as another complaints thread or (now) something else? The only reason the complaints thread and TCSOTO were similar in posts is because most of the players don't really like tanki and/or the current state of tanki. You can't make the game crappier and expect no one to voice their opinion AND complain about it. But I guess shutting down one negative thread is one way to reduce negative reviews of tanki.
  19. I got bored of carrying and left. (90 seconds in--a thread that someone else started but is eerily accurate) There is no honor in a tanki-carry. Means nothing.
  20. It isn't my picture, fyi. It's Paul's. It says something to me. It very vividly describes something to me. I'm sorry you don't have that insight. Maybe you're a buyer and forget what it's like to play as a non buyer? Maybe you get a lot of free mod-stuff for your accounts and forget that you have to grind with lesser equipment to be in the top 3? Not sure, only you can answer why that picture didn't tell you a story. Either way, deleting posts by people who show up to post (good or bad) on a dying forum is ________ (<---- insert whatever you think it is here). You can--and do--'play' however you feel on any given day. That has been proven time and time again. The last time I posted a picture of the number of views the 'helpers' thread got, it jumped by 50 views overnight. The last time I posted a 'this thread should be unpinned' due to several months of inactivity, 4 posts magically appeared within 24 hours. You'd think if you'd want to save the forum of which you personally identify with, you'd delete less and join the conversation more. I mean... the whole point of a forum is posts. Not rules to delete them.
  21. Carrying is a waste of time and resources--as the score (and rewards) can attest. The various titles and contents probably did not restrict posting to just text, though... I have not been a forum visitor for all that long (relatively speaking). Only when game wait-times skyrocketed (as players left) and with terrible matchfaking teams, it created an inevitable boredom that was alleviated (slightly) by joining the forum. This might surprise you, but back in the day, I tried to give actual constructive ideas to help cease the loss of players. At the time, I was not aware that the developers did not give a flying f for any suggestions that would not make their investors (more) money. (So I thereafter laughed at the statements of 'constructive criticism'--as it should be re-worded to 'money making suggestions') Either way, if legacy started it, congo continued it.
  22. In the original parameters of the thread that congo started, it doesn't say text only, though.
