Indeed Magnum is probably the worst; I am one myself. It will not get you the most XP though, It's the Isida that is getting XP from Magnum shells. Especially when there are two or more in the base, they keep healing eachother while you reload. With just one Isida, Magnum is the god of war. I can take out anyone from my safe hideout. Usually I look at flag indicators to see where they're hiding. When the place is full of Isida's though, it's just a waste of time. Lies I agree, healing is so productive. I reach top charts all the time with just healing flag carriers. I often get killed too though because Isida is everyone's first target. I don't really find the damage or healing OP by itself; it's just that multiple of them can keep eachother alive+ A Firebird who does all the killing. It's damn silent aswell, you wouldn't think of someone with Isida damaging you before getting killed already. But I think Isida trains are a weird feature just like Magnum's parabolic trajectory.

It absolutely is not. Isida's are the worst enemy to everyone; especially tandems or trains of them healing eachother. Isida's healing Isida's should be nerfed to the extreme in my opinion, it's a big flaw in game balance. 3 Isida's that work together will plough trough enemy defense in no time, I've seen it happen countless times. I am glad they got rid of the vampirism, it was impossible to kill Isida once it latched onto you. ---- Isida will get you the most XP- granted. Most of the XP is acquired by healing; support nanobots alteration suits me when I am in a blowout match and want to squeeze extra crystals out of it by healing team mates.

Do you remember what hull this guy was using?

Cesium-137 never existed in nature, but now traces of it are everywhere in europe due to Chernobyl. Nuclear energy itself is very clean; the byproduct... not so much. I am fascinated by radiation, It's invisible, odorless and silent. Take the elephant's foot for example; a lump of concrete mixed with melted fuel rods is located under melted reactor core 4 of Chernobyl. It will kill you when you stand next to it for 4 minutes. (back in '86 it was probably 20-30 seconds due to the half life of CS-137) You would be dead (on cellular level) while still conscious, fascinating indeed...

Giving up splash damage casualties might happen yeah, I can see that being a problem to some players. Perhaps the homing missiles can be switched on or off. I have no idea how you manage to hit static targets at long range; let alone moving ones. I am pretty sure I will never use the ehh.... non-homing.. missiles again. Maybe I need to stick another 700-1000 hours in Striker if I want to hit atleast something lol. Viking might probably prevent the turret from being effective aswell, I always hit team mates instead of enemies.

I would like them to get more out of the mouse controls in combination with Striker. There should be a lock-strafe camera control on Striker just as Shaft has in its scope mode. Away with the dumb lock-on mechanism; it won't work in a game that has simple auto-aim thresholds. It needs auto-homing thresholds and no salvo.

Perhaps they could decrease gravitational force on the shell so it takes longer to land. So if Magnums want the shell to be quicker; they will need to increase the charge rate and fire with a sharp angle -> expose themselves more.

Weren't you in Behemoth back in 2013?

Nice topic, Alright lets brace for XP/BP pró's, bragging about their registration date.

That's interesting, do you have videos?

Well it certainly ain't me... I suck with this thing.

It's stupid to only use Isida for killing. Healing people will get you much more XP. The dumber your teammates, the more XP you'll get. Maps like Barda are heaven. (For Magnum too though)
-
You can actually. I find myself using the standard 30 degrees angle if there are no Shafts. 15 degrees is pretty sharp and charge rate will be very critical in the outcome of your shot.
-
The basics of this turret are learned within days and someone can more or less get away with that in a battle. However; it takes some time to master the charge rate to 5% interval and to aim the right distance in front of moving targets. If you don't hit the enemy right on top, you'll lose 50-70% of the damage. I found those two things the hardest to learn. It probably took me 2 or 3 weeks. There's plenty of time to learn these things in battles. Just sit behind a wall, mine the place and practise until you found some comfortable charge/angle combination. You can basically keep on firing without getting killed.
-
This is true, you can get better results if the map has different height levels. Height difference is even better than a wall; Noise is the perfect example.

Boy do us; Magnum users, love these new flag indicators, we can now see trough buildings! A gif from some weeks ago:

Man that's a nice video, very impressive sound coming from that thing.

The knockback is very usefull in certain situations; I usually win head-on battles against Thunders, Railers and Shafts. Magnum sits in places I cannot reach so I am useless in that situation. The knockback effect is also pretty useless when you face multiple enemies. With Smoky, I find myself behind cover a lot more than with other turrets. Freeze and Firebird can be slowed down by the knockback too if I spot them soon enough. Ricochet is the new Smoky without any drawbacks and I usually lose head-on battles against it.
-
Hammer is definitely not useless at close range. I see them on medium hulls all the time since they're fast enough now that EVERYONE is on drugs.
-
No nerf please lol, I use arcade shots a lot.
-
It's incredible how many players are running around with damn stars above their tank now. I hope it'll be temporary.

Yeah, the nickname excisted only out of numbers so I copied it trough clicking on it. Maybe something went wrong there. This was trough the Standalone Flash Player. My successful attempt last week was trough the client.
