Not always? You mean it happens at random times? Or a fixed arc due to the barrel design?

Trends - do you follow them and do you like or dislike them?

When it comes to memes on reddit, Yeah I stopped following them. Currently I am considered a Normie when I post a meme that older than 7 hours. No thanks; the dank meme community becomes full of themselves. I respect those who follow their own style. Unfortunately I don't have the guts to do the same. I don't follow trends either; I guess I am more of a casual guy with likeminded friends. Not that I don't like it that way, I just envy those who can really be themselves you know. -
In Rugby mode; whenever someone scored a goal I hear the dude say Shhhtoutchzzzdowwwnn; like he has something in his mouth. That ain't American pronunciation boy! Someone else noticed that?

After the 10 seconds- to drop update, the almighty Magnum can destroy the entire gold mosh pit since fewer players are drugged up. The rage that comes after it is the gold to me. Swagnum Swagnum Swagnum

I've been putting in some hours into Striker for the last few weeks but, My goodness... compared to other turrets (after Isida that is) I am getting better results with less effort. Sit back behind an obstacle, poop the place full of mines, drug yourself the hell up and you're all set to rain down the terror. I highly recommend the turret. Core principles are learned within days.. It might take you a few weeks to really get a feel of it but after that, you'll be able to hit everything. More and more Magnums are discovering the possibilities. It is time to invade this biotope of native horizontal trajectory-turrets. Soon the game will be called Magnum Online.

Exactly, overdrives bring in multiple tanks to your base on full drugs and they start spawn killing all over the place; hence the dry-up on one side. The influence of the current overdrive in a battle is just too big. It's good to see that they'll bring in variation in overdrives for different hulls. Making an overdrive that enables all supplies was a bad move in the first place. Supplies are overpowered. I am simply using them to cancel out other supplies used against me. I think it's an unnecessary and annoying feature in this game. Yeah, if I liked them I would play them. The XP/BP community is toxic and I don't like Railgun so I barely visit them.

It's the fact that I need to use a damn consumable to compete.
-
Ah yeah the pro battles; It's just that fewer and fewer players do them because progression on missions is not possible there. Overdrives are a joke. So are the supplies imo. this game comes down to pressing the right consumables at the right time and less about the actual turret and hull. I think all the overdrives also influence the amount of blowout battles. Pro battles can take up even hours of very interesting and intense gameplay. You don't see a 5-0 outcome there. I can't afford to abandon missions right now because I know how rewarding they are.. but boy do I want to leave them lol The contrast between normal battles and pro battles is bigger than ever. The game tries to lure into normal battles with all the containers, double funds, events with certain XP gaining etc... just to get you into those missions. I believe the T.O. administration hates that they designed pro battles in the first place.

This'll be really interesting, signed! I still think mobile players will get absolutely crushed by PC players; but I guess I will have to wait and see.

Does someone have the animated paint? Can I see a screenshot of it in a battle; or even better, a GIF? The main post doesn't look too good in quality.

Yeah it's ping related. The higher your ping number, the more server latency. A lot of game servers including T.O are located in Amsterdam due to it being a central location for to lower global ping. Distance to server will mostly determine your ping number. But bandwith takes up some of it aswell. It can help if you shut down other devices from your internet, use cable internet, move closer to the router etc.

I was skeptic about the matchmaking aswell. But it'll be 600 times better than finding a match to join the winning team to get atleast a decent reward. Currently 80% of the games I see are blowout battles. Especially on my favorite mode CTF. The outcome is already decided after the first flag. Players start leaving and one side will dry out. I don't blame them for it.. I do it aswell. It's either that or wasting damn supplies and crystals only to get spawn killed all over. MM won't be perfect. We'll just have to wait and see what they'll come up with. I would've liked a map filter to solve unsuitable equipment for that specific map.

That is íf you manage to get the missiles to hit

I remember I used a metal lid from a massive jar and accidentally frisbee'd my sister in the head with it. I was so scared of it that I ran and hid myself somewhere in the long grass because I knew my mom would be absolutely furious. Also at one day, I tried to jump over the electric fence (we have horses) to pick up a football. Somehow I got tangled in it. You don't know how hard it is to stay calm and free yourself when you're getting a shock every second. Ohh there were lots more. I always played outside with home made guns, potato cannons and built wooden shacks and all sorts of fortresses. Wonderful days, I am glad those damn phones and tables were not around back in 2005.

It is indeed sad to see an increasing number of members who just try to hard to be funny and can't put up or take a genuine discussion. The turrets and Hulls section along with the game balance discussion still has great activity. Most of it are posts that are about the actual game instead of the off-topic stuff; it should be core section to check out for someone to use the Tanki Online forum. I highly recommend it. It was nice having you as Staff member. Good to hear you'll stick around!

It probably was lol. My parents bought it for around €500 euro's; a bargain. But it later ran on 4 cylinders instead of 6 and the rust was too much so we sold the car eventually. Apparently the car is still being driven today. If you look up the license plate PR-41-ZN it says the car is registered and has insurance.

Yeah, the very distinctive sweet smell of benzene. The car probably had leaking fuel lines aswell.

Dat zou ik niet moeten doen inderdaad maar het ruikt wel lekker; ik krijg dan spontaan herinneringen aan mijn oude BMW 320i uit 1986.

Do you live in the region of South Carolina?

How? Every player in this game is able to get the same hulls and turrets. If you don't have patience, you'll need to pay for it. The decision is yours.

Yeah true, I think I upgraded Striker and Magnum to 7 at normal but because I wanted to get more into its gameplay. the rest was done at 4-5 normal Mu's until I switched to sales. Freeze, Firebird, Railgun and Mammoth are purely fueled by MU sales because I rarely use them currently. Personally, they get too expensive for me when an M3 has reached 4-5 upgrades. That is when an upgrade will pass the 10K boundry . It is all up to you to decide at which point they're not worth the full price anymore. On the other hand, these kind of sales seem to become the default choice for the developers to use in events.. they're not so rare anymore as a few years back. If the event takes up a few days, the MU sale will most likely be active on the last day though. I would've done the very same thing if I owned the business. Anyway, you gain a lot from them if you MU multiple items, I can't think of a more effective spending strategy in this game.
-
Yeah absolutely. It is also the most gratifying when you finished an item; knowing how many crystals you saved up during all those sales. I am not quite there yet but I believe 5 or 6 items will hit the M4 mark at the same day next year or so. :D I did something similar aswell, when MU's got simplified I acquired 3 items automatically to full M4 and decided to upgrade my Smoky instantly with speedups on a sale. The Viking/Smoky, Shaft or Thunder is what I used while all my other turrets sat in the garage slowly MU'ing. But over the course of time they've all passed the 10/20 mark and becoming quite powerful so I've been using more and more turrets. It's also relatively easy to keep up with the prices you pay for the MU's during the sales. It sets a nice guideline for me to spend crystals; well outside special items that is. (I have spent some money on special paints ) Actually it's not a bad move at all to ram up one turret and hull to M4 and use it as your main while you put patience in the rest of your gear and stock M3's are probably less underpowered at your rank than they are at mine.
