Well that's just classic tanki for you.

While I do think that status augments were affecting the gameplay in a negative way, I do agree that lazily slapping a 90% damage nerf on their criticals isn't gonna cut it.

IMO, the status augment issue requires multiple steps to truly fix and balance out.

Did the player have an immunity? Or did they have a polarisation effect, whether it be from a repair kit, a Dictator OD, a Paladin OD or a Mammoth OD.

Could be also phoenix augment

if those hulls fall out of favor, Tanki might be Tanki again.  This game lost all the dynamics of armored tanks combat the moment we got jumping and strafing tanks.

Yeah, Calibre's latest vid shows his tank with the phoenix aug getting burnt and frozen, i dont think neither phoenix nor polarisation have immunity against temperature changes

You are forever cast into the lot of the "wrong".  Shafts belong to Tanki purists, not the defiled and low born spawn of current Tanki.

I am pleased to report that the change in physics and the dynamics of the hulls have made them FAR BETTER BAIT for Shafts now.
I think Tanki should create a pro bttle format with no Freeze, Rico, Twins, Isida, Magnum (Artillery should have to be stationary to fire, hell, shafts have to be), and Tesla, along with no floating hulls.  Only realistic tech, and for heavens sake, no grenades, what is the point people, I mean really.  People can select drug free or not, I know that's such a hard sell for most players now, they couldn't play Tanki without them, but yeah, a realistic physics and tech battle environment.  It would be great, yeah.  Oh, wait, that'll never happen.

If we're lucky the decrease in usage of hovers because of the patch will return the game to something resembling what Tanki was at its greatest, as some players can't be bothered to strafe and deal with the reduced agility.

You haven't seen me play clearly. I am not a camper, neither do I use the cringe RFM augment. Also, yes I can use shaft with tracked hulls, I simply prefer hopper cuz it's the only hull in the game that makes tanki as close to an FPS game, otherwise the game is deadbeat boring for me with it's variety of augments and hulls.

Nothing changes on the cellular level, camping ares and crusaders, paladins and hoppers with vacuum magnum and etc still proceed to do devastating bits without a need for a great amount of skill change needed. This update only hurts hovering players that actually expose themselves by being mobile and moving about.

Clearly you didn't understand. I must question if you actually play the game.

Even then, with the same combo that generally got nerfed on the whole I manage to outdo a fair set of players, the combo isn't busted, most of the playerbase just isn't that good at the game. I.e inability to turn turrets or use supplies and the lack of working as a team. When people start to understand that the hull isn't the issue, maybe we'll get to a better game era.

yes immunity against immobilizing the tank - I don't remember correct name of it

That's why dictionaries are there to know what something is called and what it means, you can't use names arbitrarily and claim that it has a different meaning, because it causes chaos....

fast turrets (f.ex. freeze, vulcan) do not experience  -90% reduction in "patho critical" attack, but slow ones actually lose their attack, because before they charge up to attack, the opponent already has shields again - so why such a weak attack? some arguments became useless for long loading towers.

Sounds to me like you're using EMP Tesla specifically. That's the only status Tesla that has an unchanged critical damage coefficient with the OD, i.e weaker than it should be. 

 

AP - x5, x25 crit 

EMP - x5, x5 crit <-------

Cryo - x5, x25 crit

Jammer - x5, x25 crit 

Incendiary - x5, x25 crit 

Stun - x5, x25 crit
