Patch Update #773 - Released 6th September 2024

 

List of changes:

  • Added a new Magnum augment to Epic Containers - «Bombard»

    • (Note) Minimum and initial angles of the turret are 45 degrees. Minimum and maximum projectile speeds are reduced. Reload speed is significantly accelerated.

  • Added a new type of Grenades — Bomb

    • Available from the first rank

    • (Note) Currently you are only able to upgrade this grenade, you will be able to purchase it later.

  • Replaced the Paint widget with a new Grenade widget in the Garage

  • Added indication of Grenade status and Grenade reloading status

    • (Note) Please note that it is not possible to throw a Grenade while your tank is carrying a flag or a ball. When a flag or a ball is taken, the HUD indication changes accordingly.

  • The Grenade skin has been updated and now supports player paint.

  • Gear Score of players has been adjusted with the addition of grenades

    • (Note) Grenade now gives up to 1000 GS

  • Grenade can destroy mines in a certain radius from the point of explosion

    • (Note) The effect works even if the Grenade is detonated by a combo shot with Railgun.

  • Equipment change timer in battle now activates when any part of a tank (except paints and skins) is changed

  • Added previewing of turrets and hulls when clicking on them in the garage, just like it works for paints

  • A set of missions has been added to teach how to use supplies

  • An option to purchase a 30 units package of each supply has been added

  • Firebird

    • Regular damage decreased from 450-1200 to 400-1200 HP

  • Freeze

    • «Phoenix» augment

      • Cone angle decrease changed from -75% to -60%; 

      • Added a decrease of Energy consumption by -20%

  • Twins

    • «Plasma Turbo Accelerators» augment

      • Regular damage decrease changed from -50% to -60%

      • Shell Speed increase changed from +100% to +200%

  • Magnum

    • «Harpoon» augment

      • Amplification time decrease changed from -50% to -75%

      • Added an increase of Impact force by +50%

  • Wasp

    • Turning speed increased from 100-130 to 100-195 degrees/second

    • Turning acceleration increased from 130-150 to 130-225 degrees/second² 

    • Anti-inertial turning acceleration increased from 280-360 to 280-720 degrees/second²

  • Hornet

    • Turning speed increased from 120-150 to 120-225 degrees/second

    • Turning acceleration increased from 130-150 to 130-225 degrees/second²

    • Anti-inertial turning acceleration increased from 280-360 to 280-720 degrees/second²

  • «Lifeguard» augment

    • Health recovery decreased from 1000 to 500 HP

  • «Blaster» augment

    • Self-destruction damage for light hulls decreased from 1500-3000 to 1000-2000 HP

    • Self-destruction damage for heavy hulls increased from 1500-3000 to 2000-4000;

  • Juggernaut Health recovery when picking up supply boxes in battle increased from 1000 to 4000 HP

  • Minimum radius of base protection from mining decreased from 10 to 5 m

  • Gold boxes only drop in battles starting from the rank of Master Sergeant (8)

    • (Note) This restriction does not apply to players’ gold boxes

  • Added experimental support for SteamDeck (tm)

    • To play, you must force enable compatibility mode Steam Linux Runtime 3.0 (sniper) in the project settings on SteamOS

    • The official keyboard layout emulates keyboard and mouse control, support for analog control for gamepads will appear later

    • (Note) When the re-certification of the game for Steam Deck is completed, there will be no need to manually switch compatibility mode

  • Bots have been added the ability to use protection modules instead of health boost they had

List of fixes:

  • Fixed the bug that caused groups to get stuck in a long search in matchmaking.

  • Fixed the indication of supply use buttons in the HUD when they are reassigned by the player in the settings

  • Fixed an error due to which there was no visual and physical synchronization of the Ares sphere position

  • Fixed a bug in the tutorial that caused bots in the first tutorial battle not to be active after the destruction of the first bot.

  • Fixed the overestimation of bots' ranks in matchmaking

  • Fixed the bug with bots firing at allied tanks if the bot previously used Isida.

  • Fixed the Notification system in the Lobby.

  • Fixed tank camera behaviour when a tank is flipped

  • Fixed the behaviour of the grenade throw button for mobile controls.

  • Fixed a bug due to which, when changing equipment during a battle, new items could not be equipped on the tank.

now fix soft-lock after pressing missions tab

fix bots being absolutely horrible

fix bots being borderline the only things in matchmaking till you reach legend basically. 

solid patch i guess. 5/10

Also where is the defender nerf?

Other than that, patch is 7/10 actually 8 I'm excited for the grenade addition. I'm tired of camping rats just ruining game modes treating it like always tdm rather than the purpose of the mode.

Lifeguard is useless if heavy enemy fire, now 500 is just a bullet from death

Only paladin on OD benefit that life guard

I use blaster mostly as defender or road clean attacker

To be honest I expected more 

Twins - PTA  got +100 % plasma velocity   while Plasmatron  being ignored again, at least increase crit dmg  its pathetic as it is now.

 

Striker -  It seems like Tandem and Vacuum are perefctly balanced augments, yes lot of fun having 3K dmg with vacuum (without actuall need to have booster or crisis) Or having 1,6s reload with 2x dmg output of Thunder with homing missles that have increased crit

Dont tell me I can now change my equip only once in battle, if yes then this is bulls...t level over 9000

 

Some of the fixes are good but will they really work?  Unfortunately I do not see gauss 0 dmg bug on fix list. 

 

Blaster and Lifeguard change is good at least something,

You dont need to buy greneda,

You buy updates to make you look cool again. With 9999,

You can use free greneda from mission and use only once a week like nuke energy while seeing buyer bombing base and clear saboteur drone mines at base with grenedas

Juggernaut deserves to be buffed directly by increasing its HP from 20k to 25k since it takes only 1 good player with broken augment to destroy you easily

Just like since 2 years ago, most of my direct hits are still dealing lower than max damage. Maybe it's time to increase the splash radius? See if that fixes it.

The firing rate increase feels nice but what good is it if my shots are only dealing half damage?

This definitely feels like some joystick related change. Wasp turns at lightspeed now, lol. I have a fully upgraded Wasp, and in XP/BP it keeps turning as if it was Mk8, compared to before the update. Not sure if that's a bug.

i like how it you lose momentum you cant compete anymore its all 1 sided slaughters. good job ruining the game you really screwed it this time hazel boy. so many vomit turrets, twins vulcans rico striker hammer

hey,  i don't use them.
Byut is funny how is the first time i closed game after 10 minutes. they left the stronger strong and nerfed the only countermeasures i had in garage. Brilliant^^

Just happened to get Bombard and it's very underwhelming for an exotic augment

It should be a crystal augment

WHY WHY WHY - 

  • Equipment change timer in battle now activates when any part of a tank (except paints and skins) is changed

So now when you go into battle, and have to change hull or anything else, say long map vs short map, you then find you are completely destroyed by a lack of the proper protections and can't change them.  It's bad enough it's only once per game, by now the rate of people leaving a game will increase even more.  Don't you track the number of users that leave games constantly.  It used to be that you could adjust to game play, changes in tactics, like a real battle, send this guy in, not this one, we need an isida, someone change, etc.  Now it's a joke.  Most of my clan has left the game, the clan is gone, I rarely see other clans we used to play with, what purpose does it serve to end changes during the game.   Now we have to leave to change, quite ridiculous.

Not a fan of having to purchase tankions to upgrade to the next level. not all players have money to spend in this game.

this should be removed and replaced with crystals // only players with tankions and crystals will be able to rank to a MK7 fully loaded .

Wow. I haven't played in 4 years, I never imagined they would do that. How much is that timer?

this is now a huge Joke

seeing we can only change the items once , after that you can't change anything for over 11 minutes

what we now have to do is make sure we know exactly what we want in our battles, making it impossible to figure out at times.

see in the past you could change either a drone , turret or hull and then return later in the battle to change your protection or other items  . now we can't do anything . making the battles now harder to win.

I already only go garage 1-2, but i generally play for 5 min to understand what to use, then change in 1 go 

Hull, turret, augment, module, drone. But need to do quick before timer kick out for inactivity
