When I said "$20", I implied an ammount that would allow the player to buy everything they need at the initial ranks - a full MU M0 tank, supplies, modules, perhaps a paint and maybe a drone. i'm not sure how much money or crystals that requires, but my point is that regardless of how large of a sum would be transferred from Tanki X, such a player would just be equivalent to a "hardcore buyer". Doesn't matter if you have 400k or 400M crystals at recruit - the equipment unlock limits won't allow you to abuse your transferred funds. The only party potentially at a loss from this transfer is Alternativa, but then it's just a question of balancing the amount in order to remain beneficial for the economy in the long run, due to TX players staying in TO and potentially spending money in the future, as opposed to leaving completely.

Is that how much you need to get a full MU M0 and a few supplies these days?
-
Why not? That would be the same as someone putting $20 into the game in order to get a head start on a new account with M1 items and supplies right away. If they did transfer accounts, it would most likely be only items purchased with money, so probably X-crystals and containers. As for economic balance - if they only transfer X-crystals, then it's just continuation of their account in a different game. The question is which option would give more revenue: either there's no account transfer and (for example) 90% of TX players leave while 10% start over in TO and make purchases; or there is transfer, so perhaps only 30% of players leave, and 70% stay, but they don't make as many purchases (or don't purchase for a few months) due to having plenty of crystals and/or tankoins due to the transfer.

If this were to happen, it would only be for the benefit of non-TO players, meaning that you'd only be able to transfer your stuff to a new TO account in order to continue playing after TX closes. Something like a unique promo code that gives you items of value equivalent to what you had on your TX account, and you can only use the promo code on TO accounts created after the announcement of TX getting closed. But this is only theoretical - in reality it's extremely unlikely that any kind of transfer will be done.

I think they should add Picasso paint! Oh wait...

Regardless of the reason, such behaviour is not tolerated here. Respect everyone or go somewhere else. You don't know if their company is stable. You don't know that either. I'm sure it's possible, but like I said in my post, it's most likely too complicated to be of any benefit. To put it simply, developers would rather close all accounts and deal with the backlash from those few, who actually cared about their TX account, rather than waste time and resources to transfer these accounts to Tanki Online. That's why I said "usually". Of course it doesn't apply to everyone. Tanki X is nearly dead (which is why it's closing). The vast majority of those, who would be furious, left a long time ago. Hence, no point transferring accounts. Nothing is wrong with him, he simply understands how the economy works.

It's also for players who are extremely humble, don't repeat themselves and know how to use the quote feature

Ok, so why should they add paints that you want and not paints that someone else wants? I'll be honest here - the textures you proposed are completely unfitting to be actual in-game paints, other than as an April fools joke or something. Also, 99% of players don't know who Twiggy is and don't care about that paint, while the Riddler paint would cause issues with copyright. Either way, devs have enough paint textures of their own and we do not accept ideas for new paints. This topic will be merged into Ideas for Paints.

What's the purpose of playing games? Is it only to mindlessly grind up to the highest rank and obtain every single item, and then grind some more when new content get added? If that's the case, then I'd be concerned about how that kind of person spends their life. I play games because I enjoy them. Once I stop enjoying a game - I stop playing it. And I'm fine knowing that one day my account and all of its virtual items and "achievements" will get deleted, because I still had fun playing the game and will leave with years of exciting memories.

Please be respectful towards other forum users if you want to have a proper discussion. Ninja may not be 100% correct, but he certainly has a valid point. If migrating TX accounts into TO was an economically viable option, I'm certain that developers would have gone for it. After all, why would they, as a business, miss an opportunity to keep a few hundred players in the game if it meant that they can get more revenue out of those players? Seeing that they decided not to migrate accounts, the option was most likely not suitable and would do more harm than good. After all, setting up a system to migrate accounts would require additional time and effort from the staff, while the number of active Tanki X accounts is probably so small that such a system would not be worth creating. Let's not forget that active TX players did get a very generous promocode for Tanki Online, which they could use to give themselves a hefty boost at lower ranks in order to actually enjoy Tanki Online without struggling to compete and to get through the initial ranks faster. I suppose that the criteria needed to obtain it was indeed a bit harsh, but it is a reward for active players, and not playing a game for over two months usually means that you abandoned it. I do agree that the unspent X crystals should be converted into tankoins, but the rank and the rest of the garage should not.

Unpopular opinion: Players with 9500+ gear scores are likely to be bullies

Oh trust me, your opinion would quickly change if you got to know him :) -
Topic merged We definitely won't be making whole sections for each of the status tags, but if you want to view all topics with a specific status (e.g. all ideas marked "Valid"), all you need to do is click on the colour tag next to the idea, and you will be shown a list of all ideas with that tag. Additionally, we (moderators) occasionally sort through the section and archive all declined, invalid and completed topics, leaving just the "Valid" ones in a neat list.

Tanki X was originally meant to be an improved copy of Tanki Online. It was supposed to completely replace TO, bringing all accounts from TO to TX and shutting down TO. After it was known that TX couldn't be played in-browser, it was decided to release it as a standalone game and develop it in a different direction, while TO would continue to exist and have its own unique updates, different from TX. Once HTML5 became an option and it was clear that TO could get a second life, while TX was already doing poorly with its profit and player base, it was decided to improve TO and implement any possible improvements which already exist in TX. This has been happening for the past 2 years already, and will continue to happen now that Tanki Online is still AlternativaGames' main project.

Valid Allow Hornet's overdrive to reveal all enemy mines

Topic merged That loading screen is very low resolution, designed for small screens. It's pretty cool, but it can't be used in HTML5 directly - it looks unprofessional.

You know, for someone who really likes to suggest extremely overpowered features and buffs, this suggestion is pretty tame in comparison. The hull idea is cool, and I do like the jump overdrive, but it absolutely needs an additional benefit to make it useful. Every single current overdrive either helps you kill enemies faster, or survive enemy fire longer (or both), but a simple jump does neither. That's why I think that perhaps it should deal damage in a radius (like a Magnum explosion) or at least knock enemies away similar to Juggernaut.
