I think it's the opposite. As soon as you get a couple full M4 combos, you will be able to compete on the same level as the "buyers", and there is no way for them to get a significant advantage over you anymore unless devs implement another new feature like drones. Meanwhile, the battles themselves are a lot more fun due to the overall higher skill level of the players, so you can actually expect some decent teamwork despite playing with random teammates. And of course everything is just physically faster due to higher movement speeds and firing rates.

When I was 7 or 8 years old, I was kinda interested in model-making, so one day I decided to make a huge model of the Titanic. Not quite life-size, but around 2 meters long. I asked my parents to buy a ton of modelling cardboard, and once they did, I made a big and terribly disproportionate base for the ship's deck. Aaaaand after that I got bored and never worked on that project again... My point is, this kind of project is extremely ambitious and you need to realise what you're committing to. Also, if you already have experience making small scale models, you have to keep in mind that you can't just increase the scale without changing the structure. A 5 meter paper model won't stand at all without a lot of internal supports. So if you are seriously considering this project, make sure you plan it out well so that you know exactly what to do and how it will fit together. How much material do you need? Can you afford it? Do you have enough free space to work on and store the model? How will you attach pieces together? How will you ensure it keeps its shape and doesn't collapse? How will you add decoration and finishing touches? Do you have enough time and dedication to finish it? Is it even worth the effort? I wish you best of luck with this project, but if I were you, I'd go for a smaller model size (no more than 1 meter) and focus on the details and quality. Bigger is not always better.

I looked at old videos from this map, and it seems that the amount of cover and the overall shape of the bases ha remained the same through the years. I'm honestly not sure why they made them assymmetrical, but I feel like both bases have unique tactical advantages.

I don't think it makes any sense to accept a record made with outdated settings. Maybe as a separate "legacy" attempt, but certainly not as a current record.

I think you may need to re-read the part about why the number of players is declining. Tanki is an old game that's long past its prime time. It lost its main uniqueness and selling points, so there is not much reason for new players to be interested. Old players have always been leaving at a fairly constant rate, but it's the number of new players that decreased. Updates like MM and ODs only help with player retention, and without them and other "bad" updates Tanki would be dead years ago

Unfortunately this does mean either +1 to the enemy, or -1 to your own team score.

Topic merged I somewhat agree, but there's no way devs will add a pop-up window without it being completely necessary. You need to come up with a more user-friendly way of letting people choose. Also, I don't think there's many people who would intentionally decline an offer to be juggernaut. Seems like a pointless feature.
