Literally me all day today

Developers are moving towards more and more dynamic gameplay, meaning that they actually want to discourage players from standing still and camping. So this change is meant to encourage Shaft players to be more active and move around, using the arcade shots as their primary type of fire and using scope only in occasional specific situations.
-
Don't forget that Smoky has longer range (without needing to scope), has very high impact force and faster turret rotation. It's still a much more versatile turret in 1v1 combat.
-
I recommend you change your play style with Shaft to be oriented more towards no-scope (arcade) shots, while only using the scope mode for specific situations, like where you see a heavy hull with no cover far away, so you can quickly scope in and shoot them. Sgaft has become a lot more powerful in close, dynamic combat, so just try using it like a Smoky with a secondary fire option.
-
Alright, Shaft is monstrously OP now if used correctly. Just use it like a Smoky with the range of Twins and a secondary fire mode for specific situations. It's crazy!

But... the most effective way to get stars is to focus on the objective .__.

Well, the only ones I really rarely use are the mine, Vulcan and Isida modules. But even if a turret isn't very popular, there will always be the occasional situation when the whole enemy base is full of mines, or half of the enemy team is Isidas or Vulcans, so it's good to be prepared for that.

Oof, I don't play with Shaft much at all, but seeing that XT and seeing that it's getting a buff, I'm seriously considering it... (ah who am I kidding, I'm just a broke student)

2020: "If noob devs don't stop giving me so many crystals I'm quitting!!!" I think part of the reason for it is the EXP nerf in team battles. You used to get 10 EXP x (number of enemies) when capturing a flag, so in a typical 10v10 Silence, capturing a flag alone would give you 100 EXP. Now you just get 10.

Tested it. Premium bonus works as intended. You are most likely confusing battle score with experience. Battle score is the points you see when you press Tab in battle, and those are never affected by any bonuses (premium, beginner's pass, etc.). But your actual experience (the number you see in the green bar on the top) is what gets affected.

Make sure to get all your modules up to 50%. They're extremely helpful in battle. I'm really happy I took advantage of the module update and bought the remaining single modules for 50k before their price went up to 250k. On tanker's day I finally finished the last few upgrades and now have all at 50. Nowadays I join a battle, check the enemy team and within the first minute get protection from the most common/dangerous enemy turrets. Feels extremely powerful and even much better than Spectre, which is mostly suitable for solo game modes only. As for ranking up, I stopped caring about it now. I just play the game for the sake of playing it and don't really pay attention to my EXP (let alone organise rank-up parties and such).
-
I don't see how it's less EXP. The waiting times between battles aren't long (at my rank it's usually less than 5 seconds). And since battles always start full and usually stay full, the battle is always quite intense and there's no sitting around, waiting for new enemies to join.

There's no need to have a whole section. You can already use this topic to find players for a team.

As a turret idea, this is terrible. Although it's possible for this to be implemented as a supply. For example, instead of the mine, you "equip" the molotovs into your "5" slot and pressing 5 in-game will throw a molotov instead of placing a mine.

I'm not an expert, but as far as I know, MoP is meant to combine various skills of parkour teams into one big competition to determine who is best. The trick itself is important, but the editing and creativity aspect of it also matters. If you want to have a competition where the only factor is parkour skill, then contests like Parkour Survival are more suitable. Not sure what you mean by how many people should get the paint. The number of potential winners is unlimited, so the paint will be given to however many earn it. It's not a case of minimum or maximum amount of winners.

Besides what Hexed said, it doesn't matter how good of an artist/videomaker you are, you can't just make a whole V-log in a week without a lot of preparation and guidance from people who have been doing it for years and probably got extremely efficient at it. To give you a similar example from personal experience, I can tell you for a fact that if myself and other I&S mods were to suddenly go on a holiday, no one else in our team would be able to manage the I&S section to the same standard. Yes, they would be able to do it, but it would take them longer and they would make a lot of mistakes. Not a big deal when it's just a forum section and I can fix everything when I get back, but if it's a V-log that has a strict deadline, a demanding audience and is impossible to fix and edit once released, then there's a big concern. Anyway, it's not like we can't survive 2 weeks without a V-log.

I think his point is that we can no longer see proof for XT items, so if someone applies for that record now with a lower value, we will accept it and move the current record to the archive (with label "ever").

From -796 straight to -875? Cool. BNICE1, are you on our side? Considering that there's 4 pages of posts after this (around 80 posts), you guys are 80 lower than you should be. Continue from -720.
-
Well, making a V-log kinda involves a lot more than just doing the voice lines. The rest of it needs to be made too, and the team that makes it is on holiday :P

No V-log for 2 weeks.
