Thanks for cropping out the rest of my post, where I actually criticised the system and explained that it may not work properly at low ranks. Matchmaking isn't perfect and it's less than what I expected. But compared to the system we had previously, it is basically the same in terms of ease and convenience. Pros: - No need to sit and look through the battle list, trying to find a suitable battle that has recently started, has nearly full teams and an even score. - Single click to get into battle - Better fund distribution - No mults Cons: - No way to choose the map - Sometimes low rank accounts get in battles (hopefully will be fixed by proper rank limits) - Games not always full - No autofinish - Waiting times are sometimes way too long (might be a bug) So like I said, it's far from a perfect system, but it works almost as it should and there's always room for improvement.

Most likely a result of balancing the fund distribution. No one liked TDM before due to low funds, so developers probably increased the fund in order to balance it with other game modes. I honestly don't see a problem here. The total fund seems to be about the same in both game modes, so if you perform equally well in each game mode, you get the same amount of crystals per 10 minutes of gameplay in each game mode. Isn't that how it should be?

Finally got a chance to test the system properly. Seems to be working somewhat fine, actually. Although I'm not saying that all the complaints in this topic are wrong. I did test it during the day and only at the highest rank, so obviously I didn't have issues with extremely long waiting times or enemies having much better gear, but it does seem that for the most part the system does put players into battles quite effectively, and the new reward distribution does encourage players to stay until the end. However, ASL mode is still very much broken - blue wins every single time and red captures just a few flags, if they're lucky. The 100-kill limit doesn't help either. This limit is meant to end unbalanced battles early by letting the strong team reach the limit faster than the time runs out, but even with the red team not being able to do anything, blue cannot reach 100 kills. The fact that you can't choose the team when joining ASL is also extremely inconvenient. The whole game mode needs to either be fixed or completely removed. DM and CP are fun though, sometimes CTF and RGB too. Looking forward to Juggernaut.

The record isn't impressive in any way. There's no proof that this was indeed the very first gold caught from a mobile device. In fact, I can tell you that about a week ago I logged in to Tanki from my phone via Puffin browser, made a private battle, dropped 7 golds and collected them :P

We might add this as a bonus fact in the end of the page, but it really isn't important. No one looks at that page to find out how many total crystals they earned (or will earn) from ranks - they only want to know how much they get for the next rank.

^ Devs are not doing this intentionally. The MM update was meant to work properly, but it doesn't, so devs are now working to fix it and make it function as it should. Please post complaints about developers' methods in the complaint book. Closed.

Use lists, bullet points and paragraphs. It's much easier to read than a massive wall. Like this: I hope you realise how much easier this is to read. Also, you could cut down on a bunch of unnecessary introductions and details - go straight to the point. Also also, there`s way too many ideas in here for a single game mode. A lot of these would be cool as standalone features for all game modes (like destructible terrain and hit markers), but you stuffed them all into one big feature. -

Yep. From the start developers went on a path of equipment upgrades and purchase of power, so at this point it's far too late to go away from that model. They tried to sell only cosmetic items in Tanki X, but so far this doesn't seem to be bringing them much success. They did introduce more cosmetics in Tanki Online though, and P2W items are more accessible to free players now than they were a few years ago, so in that sense the game is getting better. The other comparisons are irrelevant. MM waiting time is due to player numbers, youtuber popularity is again due to game popularity (pointless argument), issues with the community are caused by the audience, not developers, while fortnite has 100+ people per server because they have a different game engine, which is probably a lot more expensive than what tanki devs can afford to buy and maintain.

It seems like you were in a party with Mr.Lelouch, who is of a higher rank than you. In this case yes - you will be sent into battles with ranks unsuitable for you, since the rank difference between you and your friend is too high. At the moment there is no good way to fix this. If developers add a rank limit to groups, then you won't be able to play together anymore.

That doesn't mean that all your wishes will be granted. Your feedback will be taken into consideration, but I can't guarantee that it will be acted upon.

For most ideas, if you ask devs' opinion on them they'll just say "maybe some day it will be done, but right now we have other plans". So yeah, ideas are still valid, but there's no guarantee that they will ever be implemented. Interestingly enough, this is the 8th oldest topic in this section.

"Let's compare the world's most popular game with an old MMO that has a tiny development team." I'm sure developers are flattered that you're comparing their game to the world's best, but it's honestly rather pointless. I'm not saying that devs' decisions are perfect and shouldn't be criticised, but this comparison doesn't tell us much.
