New rule Tanki snuck in...you should read this....(talk about cheaters!)

You're contradicting yourself. You say you aren't willing to pay 50k at once, yet you are willing to spend even more than that by upgrading the module gradually. At your rank 15% protection is practically worthless, so you're much better off saving up 50k and buying the M2 (or even waiting until you can get M3), because getting M1 and upgrading it a few times to get 17-20% will be a waste of crystals. It's true that the 100% discount was added partially to encourage players to spend more crystals. It does benefit you in some situations, but in others it's more of a waste than a benefit. But just think about it - you have an 8/10 M1 module that gives you 23% protection. So you can either spend 37k to get to M2 for free and then spend up to 250k slowly upgrading it to M3, or you can get marshal rank and buy an M3 directly during the next sale, spending only 125k total. Even those 8 steps weren't wasted - you were taking advantage of the upgraded module the whole time while you were playing at lower ranks. -

It's true that some aspects of the module conversion weren't completely fair to players and in some cases involving LGC modules players ended up in an inconvenient situation, but that's the best compromise that developers could find, where players don't lose anything and the economy doesn't suffer. If you think about it - now you can just buy the M2 module for 50k during the next 50% sale and save yourself the time and crystals you would otherwise spend getting the M1 to M2 via micro-upgrades, which would cost you 110 000 crystals even with a 50/70 MU sale. -

No offence, but this seems like a bit of Internet Explorer situation here :P That note is not a rule. It's a notice I added to the wiki page a few months ago in order to warn players about the way the MU system works, so that they won't accidentally waste crystals thinking they can get a discount. The system itself worked like that ever since developers added the ability to skip purchase of low modifications of equipment (in 2015, I think). So if you are Marshal and own an M1, then go straight from M0 to M3 by purchasing M3 only, instead of having to waste crystals on the M1 and M2. The side effect of this was that it was no longer possible to buy cheaper modifications when a higher modification was already unlocked at your rank. But the wiki also says that if you fully MU your turret/hull, then you can get the next modification for free. This resulted in some players spending a lot of crystals fully upgrading their M0 or M1 in order to get M3 for free, not realising that that's not how it works. So I added a warning to hopefully prevent this. -

They would be fine if batteries were cheaper (or lasted longer) and MUs would get gradually unlocked at each new rank, but alas.

No, you cannot transfer crystals between accounts. The best you can do is buy crystals for someone else using money, but doing so its not recommended. Please ask questions in the Q&A topic. Closed

Eh, they will learn... After they get destroyed by impact turrets over and over they will eventually realise that Railgun requires a different approach. They will learn, just like how every past and present "pro" Railgun player had to learn at some point.

No, I don't mean the exact period when they worked. Just the date of the V-log from which each screenshot was taken.

But I thought you did the math :D

Ads ruin the look of any game. They're good for websites and small projects like mobile games, but for a game like Tanki they won't generate that much revenue, while ruining the clean look of the interface.

I'm sure you realise that developers won't intentionally display and highlight the flaws of their system. So while the stat may be interesting to some people, it's just bad PR.

Up until the drones update the number of crystals players received and the number of ways they could spend them was actually quite balanced, in my opinion. Last year we had a whole 7 months of triple mission chain rewards and a few months ago those were turned into permanent double rewards. We had individual mission rewards increased by 20%, and containers were added to mission chain rewards, giving you 4 every week, with a chance of getting up to a million crystals from them. Not to mention that weekly chains do not get reset now, allowing you to earn crystals from missions more effectively. Double battle funds and 50% sales are more common now than ever before. That being said, the introduction of batteries and drones makes all of above practically worthless, since i don't see how any free player could ever realistically earn over a million crystals in order to fully upgrade at least one drone and buy enough batteries for it to allow them to compete against buyers. Especially considering that full MU drones and batteries become available as early as Warrant Officer 1.

I assume all the screenshots are taken from V-logs. I understand that it's a massive thing to ask for, but it would be nice to have the date of the V-log from which each screenshot was taken, because a lot of these people appeared in V-logs years ago and have been long gone from the team.

Topic merged We are aware of this. The kit contents and prices have recently undergone a lot of changes, so we are in the process of updating it all. The information will be corrected in the near future.

The project has been completed. Please discuss the update in the news topic. Closed

This time it was a sarcastic comment, but in all seriousness we make a weekly report with a list of the best ideas for that week. Nives then takes the report and includes it in his own report, which is then seen by devs.

Then the game will be shut down due to lack of funding -_-

Most annoying - yes, but definitely not OP.

Genius. Reported to devs immediately!

I don't see the point, tbh. The golds drop rate isn't that high, so the 16 of you will sit there and have a gold box maybe once per battle, so you'll need 2 hours and 40 minutes just to catch one gold each. Not to mention that you'll have to re-enter a battle after every round. But I agree that taking over a battle would be fun to do :D
