    Cosmonautics Day has landed!

Two glitched gold boxes on the ground because the game ended when their meteorites were already in the air but didn't land yet. The boxes appeared and stayed there visually, but no one could pick them up :P

The text you posted does not encourage an interesting discussion. We got dozens of topics just like yours over the years - in every single one the comments are the same. So by posting the same thing that has been discussed many times before you aren't adding any useful contribution to the section, which is why your post was moved to a more appropriate topic (or "buried", as you say).

Your posts starts with a statement Tanki being "pay-to-win", hence why it's here. If you don't want to discuss it here, consider posting in the Complaint Book.

They already get that. It's an additional bonus for added motivation, but it should never be a player's main motivation for becoming a battle mod (or any other kind of helper). And this is exactly why battle mods go through months of training before being allowed to make decisions on their own. It's not as simple as that. Sometimes a player just had a series of bad luck and got spawn-killed. Sometimes the player only has low grade equipment and simply can't play better to raise their D/L. There's also Isidas, who usually have lower D/L anyway. In fact, some player purposefully play with Isida and don't get any kills (as a challenge). Sure, their D/L may be literally zero, but they are still a great healer and a very useful player in the team. I somewhat agree, yes - some of the requirements for proof seem way too demanding at the moment. But still, moderators need solid proof in order to ban, because otherwise they risk punishing an innocent player. Also, having proof is good for when players complain about their bad, so the admin can just check the video to see if the punishment was deserved.

★ Tanki Online Wiki Hub ★

The official paint texture file and the image file of the paint in the garage. We can't just take a screenshot of a tank wearing the paint and add it to the wiki - that would be unprofessional.

Alright, I can't really argue with that. Seems like a sensible complaint. I admit that the violation reporting system is far from perfect, and neither are battle mods. But you gotta understand that that Tanki has a very small management team compared to the size and popularity of their game, so it's extremely difficult for them to keep everything running smoothly. I'm pretty sure they don't have enough funds to actually employ people full-time in order to process violation reports, while improving the /vote system itself currently has lower priority than other updates (such as mobile version and HTML5), so unfortunately that will have to wait. But I'm telling you - simply recruiting more battle mods is not the right solution. You said it yourself - even now some battle mods sometimes don't answer process reports properly and make mistakes. Imagine what would happen if the administration lowered requirements and started recruiting a bunch of untrustworthy players, some of whom would inevitably abuse the powers and ban whoever they want?

Actually it's a lot harder than you might think. Battle moderators have some of the most strict criteria in order to be selected, since obviously only the most responsible and trustworthy players should be given the ability to completely block others from the game. With very few new players coming into the game it's becoming harder and harder to find fresh people who are still interested in the game enough to want to dedicate their time to help. We would rather have a few more hackers and mults in battles, than a bunch of players who got unfairly banned by incompetent moderators who would only get in because the requirements got less strict.

Exactly, which is why there's no point having such a topic. Not using any supplies is hardly impressive. Closed.

    Maze Mode

That is very true. Tanki has much simpler gameplay and controls compared to a lot of other multiplayer shooting/MOBA games.
  16. No one told me anything about it, so I'm guessing. But the intention is pretty obvious, imho.
  17. Yes. Everyone can get notifications from being quoted, not just mods. If you don't get notifications, check your forum settings.

    Maze Mode

I'm guessing Dusseldorf was more of an experiment where devs tried to push the map size to its limits. But to be honest, even Dusseldorf has 20x more action than the average Battle Royale map. Still, I din't think it first the gameplay. In other games you spend the first few minutes looting and getting gear. How do you do that in Tanki? There's no such thing as "looting" to get upgrades. And once you do encounter an enemy, you might just die in one shot from a DP shaft/rail/magnum and that's it - game over. Time to spend another 20 minutes queuing for a game and running around the map. This is also why I don't support ideas for a game mode where everyone has only one life.

    Maze Mode

tl;dr It's an original idea, but doesn't seem to fit Tanki's gameplay. In this game people want to shoot enemy tanks non-stop, not wander around some maze for ages, occasionally finding enemies.
  20. You overestimate buyers. Maybe a few people would use it at first because it's a novelty, just how players bought thousands of gold boxes and thousands of containers when those items first came out, but after a while it will become pointless. You pay real money for what? Having some random Tanki employee come to your battle and say hi? I'd much rather spend the money on another month of Premium, or some new modules/MUs. Or something that's actually useful in real life. The only way I can see this being implemented is if during april fools devs add this "whistle" thing and respond to the calls themselves, just for a day or two.
  21. OK, first of all, what if the battle mod doesn't come when the whistle is blown? There can be any number of reasons, such as no battle mods online or the mod responding to the call and losing internet connection, etc. The players who used the "whistle" and didn't get anything will complain. Second, why would anyone want to use it anyway? Battle mods are just players who volunteered to help keep order in the game. They aren't some kind of world-class celebrities that everyone would pay money to meet. Third, battle mods did not go through 2 months of vigorous training and strict background checks in order to serve as entertainers. They have a valuable job and it would be ridiculous to waste their time on pointless calls, even if it brings a lot of revenue to the devs. Each of those reasons alone is enough to reject this idea.
