    Tanki World Records

But what's the record going to be? "Most posts on a Tanki Forum"? Since we only accept forum-related records from the EN forum, it will be an unbeatable record that will simply get updated every now and then. Not very interesting.
  3. The long dash "–" just represents an undefined number and/or invalid entry. It's a standard representation, so I see no issues with it whatsoever.
  4. Your logic makes no sense. The special rank icon is an intentional bonus of Premium accounts that allows their users to stand out from the crowd and show off how cool they are. So by removing the ability for others to see your premium, devs basically made Premium less valuable. Another minor benefit is that hiding others' Premium does help reduce the amount of negativity in chats, since players can no longer accuse others of being "buyers" just because they have Premium. I don't know why you're talking about P2W here, because Premium doesn't give any more advantage in battles than, say, buying containers or buying crystals directly. It just makes it easier for the player to gain EXP and crystals, which is what you would expect when you pay extra money for a service, i.e. free is slow and hard, while paid is fast and easy, just like in real life.
  5. Only private battles. Normal public PRO will be as they are. Again, only private battles.
  6. Sounds good, but this alone won't make druggers much less OP. It will mostly be a nerf to campers, who don't die much. And if a player doesn't care about their K/D as much, they will just self-destruct and continue drugging just as much after they respawn.
  7. Last time I checked they never actually confirmed it. They said that it's likely that it will be removed, but it wasn't certain. Although at this point I'm about 95% sure it will be removed.
  8. Well, it's been mentioned a few times in tanki livestreams, but the idea is that after Matchmaking is released, the PRO pass will be removed completely and you will be able to create battles for free, but they will still be like PRO battles, in a sense that they will have all the custom settings and you won't be able to do missions in them. So with that in mind, any idea regarding changes for the PRO pass is pretty much pointless.
  9. Have you heard that the PRO pass is likely to be completely removed in the near future?

    Complaint Book

  11. People say that they don't like change, when in reality change is the only thing that keeps so many players in the game. It's a really strange phenomenon, but that's just how human psychology works. If players release updates, they will always get complaints from people asking to stop making changes and keep the game as is. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - sound familiar? But then at the same time, if developers DON'T make changes and actually keep the game as it is, players don't complain and instead they simply get bored and leave without announcing it to anyone, so in the end developers actually lose more players while at the same time getting less complaints. It's really messed up behaviour and it makes management of projects like Tanki much more difficult. Another thing is that almost any kind of update in the game benefits one group of players while being a disadvantage for another group. And this results in one group enjoying the update and quietly playing the game, while the other group hates the update and complains about it on the forum and everywhere else. So as a result you may have more people enjoying the update than hating it, but there will still be more negative feedback than positive. And then some updates are meant to help the game survive and to prepare it for future changes. In those cases it's inevitable that players will hate the update and developers are aware of it, but it's something that needs to be done in order to make progress. The repair kit change, removal of missions from PRO and the infamous Update 123 are great examples of that.
  12. It destroys their own team by being inactive and making them weaker.
  13. I know this. I myself love the ability to choose maps and am very upset that it will be taken away. But it's a sacrifice I'm willing to accept in favour of more fair and balanced battles. Because MM is a successful business model. It works and it makes games popular, so why the hell would developers NOT go for something that makes games more popular and appealing to the current audience?
  14. I think projectile colours should be a separate cosmetic, like how it is in TX. There's too many paints already so adding new ones with projectile colours seems a bit pointless, while adding custom projectiles to existing paints and giving them for free to players that have the paints is a wasted business opportunity.
  15. I disagree. Light hulls are already very powerful when used with skill. In CTF they can sneak by defenders and steal the flag without the enemy being able to land a single shot on them. I know because I've done it and I've seen it done by others. Also, light hulls aren't as popular simply because they require a more particular type of gameplay style which is less common than the generic playstyle, for which Viking or Hunter suits best. If you join RGB and ASL battles, you'll notice a lot more light hulls, since speed is a lot more important in those game modes.
  16. I honestly don't see how balanced, easy-to-join battles could ever be discouraging compared to having to spend 5 minutes choosing a battle only to end up getting demolished by OP tanks and mults.
  17. Making OD purchasable would ruin all that developers have done recently to make supplies less OP in battles (e.g. addition of ODs, supply time nerf, repair kit nerf). Not gonna happen.
  18. PRO battles will stay. No one is removing them.
  19. But don't forget that battle funds will be higher, so having a low score amongst high ranks will give them a similar reward compared to having a high score on lower ranks. And who knows, maybe devs will add some kind of system that gives low rank players more points when they face opponents of higher ranks? This actually used to be a thing back in 2011, but they removed it.
  20. I assume there will be M2 players against M4 sometimes, but that's just because there aren't enough players to quickly fill battles and make them completely balanced. It's a compromise between the amount of time required to find players with similar skills/equipment and the balance of equipment in battles. Sure, they can make it so that players with ONLY the same equipment upgrades and ONLY the same rank and efficiency ratios can join the same battles and yes, it will be balanced, but the battles will take ages to start (I'm talking about 15-25 minutes waiting time)
  21. I don't use it anymore, but back when I did, this was my favourite camping spot:
