I&S mods are trained to evaluate an idea to determine whether or not it violates any rules or has potential to be implemented. And if we can do it for other players' ideas, then why wouldn't we be able to do it for our own? Either way, if you think there's something wrong with my idea (or any other idea, for that matter), feel free to explain in the topic and I can reconsider its status.

Valid Interesting idea, but seems way too complicated. We already have supplies and soon we'll have multiple overdrives too (one of which will have a similar effect to what you suggest). Also, most players don't want to not be able to use supplies, so this won't even be particularly popular, I think. -

Yeah, you're right. Then perhaps it was the opposite - developers chose maps on which gameplay is fairly simple and straightforward, so that players would know what to do and where to go regardless of which map they get sent to. But that logic doesn't really work either because of Gravity...

Topic merged The reason why not all maps are in the game is because developers only included maps, on which gameplay is interesting and balanced. Also, most current non-PRO maps are a similar size, meaning that players know that they can expect to be in a large map when they use the "quick battle" lobby. It's unlikely that any of the other maps will be included in the list, unless developers decide to make some changes to them and add them.

The idea was posted in 2015. When test drives were added, I marked it completed. When they got removed I edited the first post (in 2016) and added the note, but the date of the post remained unchanged.

I really don't mind which map is selected. It depends on the mood, I guess. I don't like not being able to select the map, but at the same time there aren't really any maps on which I would completely hate playing.

Moved from Ideas and Suggestions ...because otherwise I would have to lock your topic for being invalid. Ideas for Tanki X can be posted on their forum in the appropriate section, and we don't accept ideas regarding TX here. However, your idea has very little potential, and I'll explain why. The name "Tanki X" has already stuck and people got used to it. I see no reason to change it and you didn't give any reasons in your post. Tanki X is already developing differently to Tanki Online. Other than the similar title, similar gameplay and a lot of the same equipment, the two games already have a lot of very significant differences in overall game design, progression, features, etc. If you have a weak PC, Tanki Online is a better choice for you. Unfortunately that will remain true. If you want to play more modern and more advanced games (like TX), then you're gonna have to upgrade your hardware. Tanki Online is also being developed with new features and is going in a different direction to Tanki X. But if you can't play TX because it doesn't work well, then unfortunately there's nothing developer can do about that. Why should devs take ideas from other development studios and change their game to be more like theirs? That's a terrible idea and it will only make Tanki X less original and less likely to become popular. Even if they do consider your idea, you are just being too vague. What kind of "major differences" you expect them to make"? What kind of steps do they need to follow? Don't think that Tanki Online is abandoned in favour of Tanki X. At the moment the lack of updates is explained by devs working almost full time on the lengthy project of Matchmaking and HTML5, but after those are done it's likely that interesting features will be released more often. So yes, right now TO won't have many updates, but that will change.

Supplies were always available for sale, most notably in the 1000 supplies kit. No one will buy containers hoping to get supplies from them, so these containers don't make the supply problem any worse than it has always been.
