Good point. The thing is, the ideas and suggestions section provides an opportunity for players to share their ideas with developers and perhaps give them something they haven't thought of yet. So when it comes to a feature that already exists in Tanki X (e.g. containers), there is no point suggesting it for Tanki Online, since it's obvious that developers are aware of the feature and have already considered it. So we don't accept ideas for certain things, but that doesn't mean that we dislike those ideas and neither does it mean that those ideas won't ever be implemented. There's just no reason to have a topic for it.

By "Helper" it means not becoming a helper, but getting the Helper paint, which is given to best helpers of the month. The record you're thinking about is "Lowest rank staff", which at the moment is WO-4

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but ideas for both games are made in the same office and I guarantee you that the game designers of both games often work together to decide which features are best to be added to both games. Can't you just not use a paint you don't like if you get it from a container?

No, you are much more likely to get a "generic" item from the containers than a legendary. Developers won't release the exact percentages, but you can safely assume that the items in the list on the first page are arranged in order of rarity, from most common to rarest. The values below are NOT OFFICIAL or accurate, but merely my personal estimate as to what kind of percentage each "tier" may have: If you think about how many gold boxes are being caught by players of all ranks in all battles, having just 0.1% chance of getting Spectre paint means that 1 in 1000 containers will have it, meaning that if players are go catch a million gold boxes, that's a whole thousand players, who got Spectre for free. I wouldn't be surprised if the percentages are even lower than this. If you recall April Fools day golds, there was a chance to get 50 000 crystals in a gold box, and only something like 5 total players got it. I assume the chance for Spectre will be the same. My point is, don't be disappointed when the vast majority of the items you get will be one of the first 7 items. If you look on the bright side, it's still much better than just 1000 crystals

"Pay to win" is when the game has a powerful item that is available ONLY for real money and allows the player to easily dominate any other player, who doesn't have that item. Please think about this and ask yourself, how do cosmetic items (paints) allow anyone to "win" and what does that have to do with "pay to win"? This certain other game is an AAA title that needs to be bought for a hefty amount of money in the first place, which is why adding microtransactions and lootboxes to force people to pay when they already paid to play the game resulted in such an outrage The loot boxes in that game were said to contain powerful characters, i.e. "P2W items". Tanki only has cosmetic paints Devs literally gave a full 3 days for players to get potentially unlimited free containers, so anyone has an opportunity to get these items. In my opinion, the only sensible complaint that anyone could have is that the "legendary" paints are being made available again, so they lose their status value for those who got them years ago. But even that isn't a big deal, to be honest. After all, they're just normal paints anyone could buy at the time.

Now THAT was unexpected

Me too. But I'm pretty sure they didn't expect to have to do HTML5 at all, and didn't expect to spend so much time on MM.
-
Other than the clan system earlier this year and overdrives later on, devs have been busy with HTML5 and Matchmaking pretty much throughout the whole of 2017. Such highlight. Much important. Very novelty. Wow.

We would definitely accept it if you provided proof that it was a public battle for multiple ranks, or if there were 30+ players with the same rank, but otherwise I agree with lukey here - this is quite easy to set up.

Are you using Micro-Upgrades? If you didn't upgrade any of your current equipment, then you should just buy a new set of M2s when the next discounts happen. But if you did upgrade your M1s a few steps already, then it may be better to upgrade them to full 10/10 steps and get M2 for free. Anyway, please continue to discuss this in the topic provided by Musa: Closed.

Yeah, same here. This issue is very easy to solve without the need for some extra controls. I don't think the idea is necessary.

Look 5 posts above -_-

Well, the autoaim in Tanki Online works along a vertical line. So you have to make sure that your turret is pointing at the player in the horizontal plane, but then it's the job of the autoaim to adjust the shot's trajectory vertically so that it hits the enemy that's above, below or directly in front of you. Now, let's say you have three enemies before you: one straight ahead, one slightly above and one slightly below. They are all along the same vertical line, but at different heights, and all within the reach of your autoaim. If you were to shoot, the autoaim would randomly choose one of the targets (or maybe not randomly, not sure yet), and you have no way of choosing who you want to shoot. This idea is about adding a target selection crosshair that allows you to switch between targets if you have more than one to choose from. Here's a small test I did: In this example, the autoaim appeared to be randomly choosing between the two targets. So if one of them were to have no Smoky protection, but the other had 50%, it could be problematic to target the one without protection.

I don't want to miss the point where my number of posts equals the profile views

Welcome back :) I strongly recommend that you check the list of Patch Notes, but to summarise, the biggest changes/additions in the past two years were: New turrets: Striker and Magnum The Gold Box supply Overdrives Gifts Separation of paints into paints and protective modules Clan system New Shop (you can buy a lot more than just crystals now) Profiles and Ratings Changes in lobby and battle creation mechanisms Release of Tanki X (the Unity version of the game) At the moment developers are working on the Matchmaking system and converting the game into HTML5

Topic merged Doesn't seem that simple to me. You already have to earn experience to claim some of the missions, so what's your idea? And why is it necessary?
-
It's still in the special section, but yes - can't choose to show it.

Every time I try to find an old topic for something: Inspired from this:

So I just feel like posting this here. This is my personal current rating of all turrets, from strongest to weakest. Applicable to Legend ranks. Magnum Hammer Twins Isida Smoky Ricochet Firebird Railgun Freeze Shaft Thunder Striker Vulcan What do you think?

Because this is about auto-aim. When you have multiple enemies in one vertical line in front of you, it's impossible to choose which one you will shoot, because the auto-aim will decide for you. I'm pretty sure that when there's a choice between an enemy and another enemy with your flag, the auto-aim will prioritise for the one with the flag, but if you want to choose between an enemy with low health or high health, or an enemy with no module and one with a high protection module, you can't do that easily.

I had one particular time I remember on Highlands CTF. I attacked the base, took the flag, and instead of running out the conventional way, I went to the back of their base and hid. After killing a couple guys who saw me go there and followed me, I waited for supplies to recharge and escaped. But again, I didn't go the normal way. I went to the side of the map and literally barrel-rolled down the side of the hill, landed on one of the thin lower ledges and drove out of there. Had some close encounters and had nearly zero health at least twice during that attack, but still managed to cap, and we won with a score of 1-0. Probably the best game I ever had. Another funny thing happened just yesterday. On Esplanade TDM I spent a good 20 minutes trying to get this one shaft out of his hiding spot. He was behind that small pillar thing on top of his base, which allowed him to shoot anyone who appeared on the top floor from the opposite side of the map. Not even joking, I spent a total of maybe 10-15 minutes actually sitting in various places and trying to find the best angle to hit him (with magnum), but I just couldn't get the right spot or got killed just as I was about to get it. But then, near the end of the second round I pretty much gave up, and on my way to the enemy base (I was on the bottom middle area) I just launched a random shot in the general direction of that camping spot. AND I HIT HIM DEAD ON!!! It was his only death in 2 rounds! So satisfying :D
