I had one particular time I remember on Highlands CTF. I attacked the base, took the flag, and instead of running out the conventional way, I went to the back of their base and hid. After killing a couple guys who saw me go there and followed me, I waited for supplies to recharge and escaped. But again, I didn't go the normal way. I went to the side of the map and literally barrel-rolled down the side of the hill, landed on one of the thin lower ledges and drove out of there. Had some close encounters and had nearly zero health at least twice during that attack, but still managed to cap, and we won with a score of 1-0. Probably the best game I ever had. Another funny thing happened just yesterday. On Esplanade TDM I spent a good 20 minutes trying to get this one shaft out of his hiding spot. He was behind that small pillar thing on top of his base, which allowed him to shoot anyone who appeared on the top floor from the opposite side of the map. Not even joking, I spent a total of maybe 10-15 minutes actually sitting in various places and trying to find the best angle to hit him (with magnum), but I just couldn't get the right spot or got killed just as I was about to get it. But then, near the end of the second round I pretty much gave up, and on my way to the enemy base (I was on the bottom middle area) I just launched a random shot in the general direction of that camping spot. AND I HIT HIM DEAD ON!!! It was his only death in 2 rounds! So satisfying :D

I appear to be in a minority here, but I actually agree with devs' decision to change the repair kit and make it less OP. What they did makes perfect sense and I feel like it greatly improved balance between buyers and free players, as well as increased the amount of skill needed to use supplies effectively. However, I'm sure we can all agree that we often get those extremely frustrating moments when you activate the repair kit, but a tiny bit of splash damage or a stray Twins shot hits you and stops the repairing process. So I got an idea on how to make this less annoying. Simply make it so that the healing only stops if you take a certain amount of damage after you activate it. So if you activate it while being on fire from a Firebird, the healing won't stop after 1000 hp. If you activate it and get hit by a twins shot or splash damage, it won't stop. But if you activate it and get shot by Thunder or Railgun, or use it while being attacked by Twins or Firebird, the heal will give you 1000 hp, but it will stop after you take something like 300 damage (i.e. after less than a second). So in a nutshell: allow the tank to take a little bit of damage while repairing, without stopping the repair. Valid

Exactly. And if you don't want to pay 250 crystals per badge, then either endure the inconvenience, or simply avoid getting banned in the first place :)

Not sure if I said this here before, but this is basically already implemented since you can send someone a badge and they will an automatic message saying "The user has limited communication ability" or something like that.

If we start adding Russian insults, it would be a whole separate category :D But I don't want to do that because... well, forum rules.

Not easy to make it full though. 17 random players of one rank (that's not legend) is pretty impressive, imho.

Well, if you have any specific suggestions on what phrases we need to add, feel free to contribute.

First of all, battle chat can't be copied at all, so it would be really hard to put into GT. Second, GT isn't that good of translating Russian to English (a bit better the other way around), so most of the time what you get from GT still makes no sense. And OP did include a lot of slang in this topic, which is specific to tanki only.

Makes sense to me. There's quite a lot of premium players out there, so the server checking which type of rank to display (normal or prem) probably consumed a lot of processing power. This also partially solves the issue of players hating on each other based on the "buyer/non-buyer" argument. At least no one will discriminate based on having premium account anymore.

Because it's already nearly done. Unlike Tanki 2.0, which was supposed to be a completely new version of the game, HTML5 is just gonna be the exact same game, but with different code. In fact, some players are already using the HTML5 version without even knowing it. Anyway, this conversation is really off-topic, so I suggest we stop here. The topic is about the idea mentioned in the first post.

This is already possible via a special tool (see details here), but keep in mind that developers do not accept any player-made maps at the moment, since there are plenty already in the game.

That takes a while and increases start-up time.

Sorry or the ambiguous title, I couldn't really think of anything better. Basically, for a while I've been curious about what people normally do when they are done working with their PC. Do you shut it down, put it into sleep mode, or something else? Personally, I almost always put it into "sleep" mode, and only sometimes I shut it down or reboot. I'm pretty sure it's not good for the PC, but that's what I'm used to. I almost always have unfinished work at the end of the day, and I can't be bothered to open up all the programs like skype, greenshot and discord every time I start the PC, so putting it in sleep is easier. But I do find that sometimes if I didn't shut it down for a while, its performance seems to worsen and various glitches and errors come up. That's when I know I need to shut down or restart. What about you?

That's just how the MU system works. To prevent you wasting crystals on weak equipment, you are only given the option to buy the highest available modification right away, rather than buying M1, then M2 and only then M3. See more info on the wiki. Just save up 100k crystals and buy Wasp M3 when the next 50% sale comes around. It's a good hull to have either way.

Teams no more than 3 or 4 players. As many teams as can be made, so a maximum of 10 teams of 2 on a map with 20 players.
