  1. That's a good point, but the whole purpose of this feature is to make it more favourable to get into alliances, rather than unofficially teaming without it.
  2. Don't forget that there's a damage reduction, so that one player will be against 3 enemies with only 60% power in their turrets. Equivalent to playing with M4 against M2. Should be quite balanced.
  3. If you destroy a tank alone and your partnet(s) don't help you, you get 10 exp and +1 kill. They get nothing. If you destroy a tank with your parnter, you get 30 exp distributed between you two (e.g. 18 and 12). Each of you get +1 kill. It's not that one tank give two kills, but you both get a kill because you both killed that one tank together. If a third member also participates in the killing, they also get +1 kill. In that case there will be 45 exp distributed between the 3 of you.

    EU servers

    English language in Russian state schools is pretty basic. Only after secondary school children are actually able to communicate in English on a somewhat conversational level. And as most players are probably around the ages of 10-15, then they probably either don't know enough English, or are too lazy to try and use it. I definitely agree with the topic. If devs made it impossible for players to find others speaking the same language, then they have to add something to make it easier again. I personally vote for this idea.

    Valid Planned Seems very similar to achievements. I think, to keep it simple, instead of adding this new feature devs should rework achievements to be suitable for this.

    Why do we fight?

    As said by Hazel in this topic, Tanki Online doesn't have any official story behind it - it's just a game (that was originally made to be a software dem) that turned out to be popular, so the devs continued working on it. You can also see my reply in that topic (post #3), where I said that in the two Russian books written about Tanki the story was that the lack of energy in the future put the planet into chaos and non-stop war, where people use tanks to fight for this new efficient energy source called "Helium-3", which comes in a form of blue crystals.
  14. I called some player to a duel in my favourite format - Mammoth Isida on Dusseldorf CTF, 999 flags and no time limit. He had M4 and I had M0. He captured 12 flags and I didn't even kill him once. But then he gave up and quit after only 13 minutes, therefore giving me a free win. GG EZ True story. (totally)

    I don't see any problem with this. I actually think that it's a good thing to switch sides when you see that your team is winning by a great margin. Besides, if those 4-5 players switched sides and won, then it simply means that your team wasn't good enough to stand up against them, making it a fair victory for them. Yes, you can argue that they only won because they had better gear and more supplies, but unfortunately that's how the game works at the moment. The matchmaking system should solve this issue. Devs said that if a team of 5 players queues up for a game, they will be put into a battle against another team of players, who will also have good communication, a lot of supplies and high MUs. Whereas if you, a single player, will queue up for a battle, you will be put into a game with other players such as yourself, and what's great is that they will have a similar Efficiency rating, making them a fair opponent of very similar strength to your own.

    The thing is, no matter how devs change stats of hull, with the way they currently work will always lack diversity. Hazel-rah (the lead game dev for TO) explained it pretty well in one of the streams they did. He said that they can keep adding turrets because each turret in the game has an interesting unique mechanic that makes it very different from others, giving the player new gameplay and a whole new set of skills to develop. With hulls there's nothing like that. They have different shapes, speeds, armour and slightly different handling, but in the end all they do is just turn and move back and forth. Now, if hulls get something like unique abilities or something else that will make gameplay very different depending on the hull you use, THEN we can talk about making specific changes to the hulls and adding new ones. Until then it's pointless to discuss how hulls can be made more diverse by only changing their stats, because it's basically impossible.

  18. Topic merged I actually like this one :D Maybe a bit too OP the way you suggest it, but if the size of the sphere was increased and it didn't fully block damage (maybe only 30-70%), then it could be a fun feature.
  19. Unfortunately very few players in this game care about skills, tactics and team cooperation. Most players simply come to kick ass for a while during their free time. They don't care about clans, friends, voice communication or any kind of complications - they just want to enter a battle and play. And with that kind of mindset supplies are a very necessary thing, since players mostly act on their own, and a single player won't be able to do anything in a team battle without supplies. Also, supplies give players a sense of power, like a temporary feeling of awesomeness. Like literally being on drugs or something. Kinda like this: And what makes you think supplies can't be linked with skill? If you ignore the fact that buying more supplies gives you superiority over free players, supplies are all about timing, correct order or activation and smart combination with battle drops. So if the system was reworked to remove the P2W aspect, supplies would become a great gameplay feature, regardless of how devs adjust them (overdrives or whatever).
