Yeah, I said in the post: "I made a map..." Wasn't that hard. I just went on a private Stadium map and spent about 10 minutes shooting at different locations, choosing the best angle and writing it down.

Under review I swear I've seen this idea before, or seen it implemented in another game. Or maybe thought of it myself and didn't post. I like it - drop boxes would be more predictable and would have better potential for tactical usage.

That was a really experienced Magnum player. I'm getting somewhat close to that, but still really far. The thing is, if you use Magnum and play on 1-2 maps 100% of the time, you will get really good at getting the angle and power just right. In fact, some players (like the guy you met) might go as far as writing down the angles and power values on a piece of paper and/or memorising them to be able to hit every single spot on the map with pin-point accuracy. I made a map like that for Stadium, and when I used Magnum there, I was unstoppable :D Here's the map, in case you're interested: Although I will agree that the power and splash radius of Magnum is extremely high, and the difficulty in aiming and lack of turret rotation does not compensate enough for it.

Ranks are usually a good indication of a player's experience. Although that's not a valid reason to condone discrimination. It's OK to assume that someone isn't experienced because of their rank, but treating them like a child or "noob" because of that is wrong and isn't allowed. I'm pretty sure it's in the rules as well.

Topic merged That seems like it would be something complicated to develop, but it wouldn't even be that noticeable. Yet this small addition could at least double the price of the paint.

Topic merged Not really a bug - that's how it's meant to work. But your idea is valid. You're understanding at the table the wrong way. The system works exactly as it's supposed to - the Supreme Commander has all options (hence the ticks in all cells for the Supreme Commander column), while the other ranks have less and less options. Study the table again and look at it more carefully.

I think the probability of XT missions is such that you will get 1 mission approximately every 1-2 years, if you do all 3 missions every day. I was already generalissimo when missions were added and only got 1 Rail XT mission in these 2 years, and that was fairly recently. So yeah, don't expect to get one. Just don't think about it and enjoy a pleasant surprise if it does come up :)

Your idea was somewhat similar, but very different: You suggested a paint that changes colour, rather than an animation. Your feature would only be visible when the tank is being burned, rather than all the time. You suggested to add it to an existing paint, not a new one. So yeah, I don't think it makes sense to compare the two. Just be glad that something similar has been added :D
