A garage reset is only necessary when an update completely changes how effective items are relative to each other, like in the case of the Rebalance, where the prices and parameters were completely changed so the reset had to be done to make sure players get a chance to change their decisions. The changes made in the resent updates do not affect your power in battles (or affect it to a very small extent), so the only reason you want it to happen is so that you can get some crystals back. This is unnecessary and will not happen, especially if you consider the fact that if a reset was to happen, you would have to do all of the Micro-upgrades all over again, which can take months, if not years. Many players suggested that the pause time should be reduced, so developers are considering it. In fact, there is already a system in development that will allow players to leave a battle and enter again without losing score, which will make the pause button completely unnecessary so the pause time might get reduced to something like 30 seconds. Well, I guess you're right. I doubt that the update is a "spin" though. They just added it because it seems like a sensible next thing to add after the previous update.

In addition to the above, I'd like to point out that to participate in XP/BP battles you no longer need any module or paint at all, because the game automatically gives you the required protection when you enter a battle, regardless of what hull you are using. For example, if you enter with Hornet M2, you automatically get 20% protection even if you don't have any modules in your garage, while if you enter with Hornet M3, you get 0% protection even if you had a Railgun protection module equipped when you entered.

First of all, we don't know if this will actually cause lag, so don't use that argument to criticise an idea. Second, this is about blinding the player that controls the tank, not the actual tank. I can see this being implemented as a sort of visual effect that turns enemy players' screens white for a moment and allows the player to make a surprise maneuver.

That was a different request. I still think they will keep adding actual new paints every now and then. And do something special with them too - not just a plain new texture, because nowadays we have so many paints that if you buy some brand new paint for 1 million crystals, people will probably mistake it for a cheaper, less interesting paint.

Yeah, pretty much. But this whole update was an opportunity for developers to add more expensive, exclusive things for sale without affecting the balance between buyers and free players, so in that sense there's nothing to complain about. Besides, I think the paints will still go on sale as usual during holiday events (not certain, please don't go bashing me if they don't!), so if you really like a paint and can't afford it yet, you can try waiting for the promotions.

Why not? Players asked for paints to be added back to the garage and developers did exactly that!

To be fair, hundreds of players were requesting that these holiday paints (especially Frost) should stay in the garage, so this is kind of an example of how developers listen to player feedback. And the paints were in the game years ago, so to most players they are indeed "new".

I do like the idea of having a higher chance to get this supply at higher ranks/chains, although I'm not sure if the daily missions can be made to work that way.

6 :D Frost was in the game at the same time as Sweater, but it was an expensive paint for 200k when it was first added. This is a family photo I did with my club on the 10th of January, when Sweater was a free texture of the Holiday paint and Frost's cost went down to something like 2000 crystals. I'm in the top row with my old name :3
