The fund distribution within a team in a game is linear, meaning that you get crystals proportional to your score, when compared to the score of other players in the team. If you are in first place and your score is 20% of the total score points that your team got, then you will get 20% of the fund that your whole team gets (not the whole fund). The fund distribution between teams depends on the score. The losing team gets from 20% to 40% of the fund. 20% is given when the losing team's points are 0: no kills / control points / flags. 40% is given when the game was very close, something like 54 to 55 control points or 10 to 9 flags.

There isn't an official format for them, but groups of players organise them together and play them in closed battles. You just have to know people.

The only way to stop people complaining is to completely remove dependence on crystals when upgrading equipment. Make equipment unlock automatically from ranks or maybe allow players to spend experience points on upgrades. I doubt that it would be even possible to make such a system in Tanki (and I can guarantee you that it will never actually happen), but I know a few other games where every single player has the same equipment available to them as soon as they create an account and the games earn money from selling premium cosmetic content, which only affects the character's looks and not it's power.

The amount of experience you need to get to rank from WO-1 to Third Lieutenant is something like 135 000. That's less than what you need to go through just one rank from Commander to Generalissimo. Sure, Warrant Officer ranks look kinda boring and don't have unique names for each one, but that doesn't really matter because you still unlock new content at every rank, like with any other rank. I don't really see what the problem is. Are you simply dissatisfied with the lack of originality in the titles for these ranks?

Mate, if you only want high funds and lots of crystals - play Wasp Fire or Hornet Rail battles with no supplies. Mammoth and Isida are literally the worst two items you could have for getting high funds. Why? Simple: the combination of high Mammoth health, Isida's healing, Armour supplies, Repair Kits and protection paints you are making your tank live as long as possible. And the longer you live, the less crystals will be added to the fund from your deaths. Not that the number of crystals from each death will decrease, but there will be an overall lower number of deaths and therefore less crystals. Remember that crystals are only added to the fund from players' deaths (a bit from capturing points as well), so if you aren't dying much in the battle, the fund will be low. One Isida is bad enough, but if a bunch of Mammoth Isidas are in a game together then the fund will be even worse. This is why Wasp Fire and Hornet Rail battles have highest funds. Players rarely live longer than 30 seconds and constantly die over and over due to very little armour, so the fund grows like crazy.

OK I get it. All you want to do is complain about the game and state how "noob" everything is. You don't care about any logical arguments we give you and you just repeat the same thing over and over again, refusing to even consider changing your point of view. Simple. Already answered by Mr_Doom. The players you were checking out were playing a while ago (before November 2015), got a high rank and then quit the game. The account remained and it was still added to the Ratings database, despite being inactive. Even for active accounts most of them will have more score/kills than shown in ratings simply because they registered their account before Ratings were introduced, so not all of the hours they spent in-game are shown in the profile. This is because kills, deaths and experience have been recorded for every account since Tanki was created in 2008, but the hours spent, EXP earned in game modes, supplies used and some other information only started recording from October 23rd, 2015. It's a well known fact that balance is not perfect at all ranks. This is intended that way since the same modifications of different equipment unlock at different ranks and have different prices, so it's completely logical that one gun that unlocks a few ranks later than another will be more expensive and more powerful, even though they might be the same modification. The current balance in the game is focused around M3+ modifications of equipment, since that's the ultimate point that everyone, in theory, will end up at after a while.

For one, I'm not actually saying that you're wrong about Firebird being underpowered. I'm just saying that you're wrong in the way you came to that conclusion - by only looking at the raw damage values. Besides, experience from playing with the actual weapon doesn't matter all that much when you compare their effectiveness. I'm sure that thanks to all those hours you spent playing with fire you know all the ins and outs of the gun and the little tactics and best strategies for it, which I may not have figured out yet, but in my opinion 7 hours of gameplay is more than enough to evaluate where the weapon stands in game balance. In fact, you don't even have to play with the weapon to see how good it is. Comparing enemies with Fire and enemies with Freeze when playing against them is enough. And trust me, that I have done a LOT. I have no idea why you have to bring Isida into this (out of all other guns), but what makes you think I don't have an Isida M3 on another account? And, as a matter of fact, I do. And I spent at least 100 hours playing with it after the latest Isida balance update (before ratings were added). So don't tell me about not knowing how to play with Isida. You are saying this as if I'm a developer and I actually change things in the game. I have absolutely no influence on what developers do. I can't make them add a new anti-mult system or change the parameters of weapons I'm not Yele. I can't change the way Game Violators mods work either. All your complaints about mults are pointless when you address them to me. I have no "admin mod abilities". The only special thing I get is an 18% protection paint, and even that I can't always use. There is no reason to assume that the game is easier for me just because I'm a mod. I can't ban. At all. So even though I appreciate your attempt to insult me, but you kind of failed. So you're now saying that both Fire and Freeze are weak? OK, sure - that might be true. I have no idea because I'm not "experienced enough" to know. But this whole post of yours started with only saying that Fire is weak because it has lower base damage. I don't even know why you keep saying "marketing". Marketing of the game has nothing to do with Fire and/or Freeze being weak, so by adding this to your argument you just made it even more confusing and senseless. And the grammar was bad enough to start with. So yeah, I can't tell what you're trying to say here, but my point in the previous post was simple - if you want to compare the effectiveness of any two weapons or hulls, you have to take into account more that just their base values. And my experience with using Freeze or Firebird has nothing to do with this.

Are you just looking at the damage values and not taking into account anything else? That's a very naive assumption. It's not just the damage that decides which gun is stronger, but all other factors also contribute. For firebird you missed the most obvious thing: burning damage, which adds on to the default damage. In addition to that there is a difference in maximum damage range, minimum damage range, energy reserve size, energy expenditure rate, recharge speed, even turret rotation speed matters. All of them have to be balanced to make the guns similar in power.

Nah, the only way to do that is if you create a battle on a large map (Dusseldorf) and get people to play on it all day. 999 flags, 40 people.

The gold box appears in the sky 30 seconds after the siren starts and drops for another 10 or so seconds. If the gold box location is covered (in a tunnel or under a bridge), then the gold box will spawn directly on the ground 30 seconds after the siren.
