  1. You play this game voluntarily and you invest real money into it (if you do) also voluntarily. The developers reserve the right to change any aspect of the game without having to give back any refunds to the players. They can even completely shut down the game at any moment and start a different project and you won't get anything back, even if the day before the game was closed you bought crystals for $1000. You are using a free service - you don't have the right to complain.

    Sniper awarding

With the new point distribution system it's really easy to get a high score on your team using shaft. I don't think there's a need for "sniper awarding" anymore.

    Sportmanship and Taking Advantage

I would do the same, but the presence of battle fund and the fact that you reset your score in the battle and get no prize if you leave before the end, means that even when there are only 3 people left, playing against 10, I can't leave and join the smaller team because I don't want to lose my score and prize, meaning that I have to sit there with nothing to to other that beat up the three poor players, otherwise my teammates will overtake me and get more crystals...

OK, seems that you are actually correct -_- Looks like I either got the wrong information initially, or the burning effect was changed recently. Mafiax is still wrong though - the burning damage does not stack.

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

I'm pretty sure there were multiple people playing with one account in that battle, taking turns. I really hope it wasn't just one person playing for 24 hours straight...

    Sportmanship and Taking Advantage

People are arrogant as hell. That is true in real life as much as it is in the game. It's even worse in the game because you don't talk or see the person, whose game experience you are ruining. The only solution is to play closed battles with friends or find a battle where the players actually have some dignity and respect for others. Doesn't happen often, but sometimes you can get lucky. ;)
  9. If that's the case, then please don't complain that you only have one gun (and that's the now "ruined" shaft) and can't afford another, better gun.
  10. They can't implement your ideas for two reasons: Their operating platform is very limited and adding elements to the game, other than real tanks will be difficult and cause lots of lag. The unique selling point of the game is that you compete only against real players - no bots, automatic turrets, jets, etc.
  11. Are you seriously micro-upgrading M0 and M1?! No wonder you don't have crystals to buy another turret...
  12. OK, that's what I thought. The problem is that tanks usually move and most of the time you can't just sit around and wait for your crosshair to wobble down to its lowest possible point - the enemy will most likely move out of the way. I think it's a much less significant advantage than actually having no wobble. With the steady aim you can easily aim at a few pixels of a tank sticking out from behind a wall or aim in a small gap between buildings and wait for your kill, whereas before you would often miss because the tank would pass while your aim wasn't on the gap.

    Thunder VS. Railgun

That makes sense. Thunder has a lot more kill potential per minute. With railgun you get like 10-15 shots per minute and if you miss a few of them you will only be able to get less than 10. With thunder if you miss you can quickly switch to another target as the reload time i quite quick.
  14. OK, here's your answer. First of all, I said it countless times, but the way Railgun can "shoot through walls" and kill you without touching your tank is not a bug - it's caused by lag. There's no way of fixing it for everyone, so we just have to deal with it. It's not just Railgun that does it - the delay due to lag applies to all guns, but railgun makes it most noticeable. On the Railgun player's screen your tank is delayed and they hit it right in target. It's quite easy to notice with Isida: it attacked its beam onto you and when you back away the beam gets a lot longer than Isida's range, because on their screen you are closer to them again, due to lag. Second, the railgun has two main disadvantages that Shaft doesn't - the warm up light before the shot and the very small depression (how far the gun shoots downwards). Due to these two featured railgun is quite difficult to master and was never really OP. You might give me examples where certain players get huge D/L and carry their team with railgun, but those are just skilled players. Any gun is OP when used with skill. As for the aiming, with Shaft you get a huge zoom advantage that helps you easily hit the tank even if most of it is hidden. AND it's the only gun that can shoot an enemies turret - other guns can only hit the hull. Whether it's easier to hit a target with shaft or railgun depends on the situation, but I think it's mostly balanced. The railgun beam has been around for years - lot's of cybersport teams depend on it with their tactics. Removing it is not an option. I already said above that the "bug" you're talking about is caused by lag and applies to all guns. It would make sense in real life. If you see your ally get shot and killed out of nowhere, you take cover and all you have left to do is to hope the sniper won't get you. Hell yeah people will complain - you just saw your friend die and you can't even take your revenge, because you are also a sitting duck. And please stop comparing Tanki to real life - it's not. I have no idea how the wobble would be at all useful. Please teach me master.
  15. It's just for the adrenaline and for the feeling you get when you do catch it. Your question is the same as asking "What's the point in playing battles and earning crystals when eventually you'll still end up leaving the game and all your efforts will be wasted..."

    Thunder VS. Railgun

Kill stealing doesn't work anymore, unless you're in DM.
  19. First of all, this game is a private business with limited liability. They let you play the game for free and if you invest money into it - you're just donating at your own will. They don't owe you anything and they reserve the right to change whatever they want without refund for those the change affects. Second, you need to just stop complaining and get used to it. The easiest gun in Tanki was finally made more difficult, so that Shaft actually required more skill to play and other players have a chance to avoid it. Don't compare this game to real life - it's not. The developers change things not to make the game more realistic, but to make it more interesting for everyone to play. Hiding in the bushes was a very OP strategy that allowed you to easily gain lots of kills with very little effort. Now, that tactic was nerfed, however it's still very easy to aim and hit enemies, especially now that you don't have to get the kill to gain points. Stop complaining and get used to it. It's a good update.

    Tanki World Records

Erm, you captured one. How is that a record? "Most flags in a minute" is not specific enough. It depends on the distance, the number of enemies and the resistance from them. If you want to set a record like that, try capturing as many flags as you can in one minute using wasp M3 with nitro on an empty Island map.

    Let's discuss Magnum!

A topic to discuss the first new turret already exists. Once the name is finalised, either the existing topic will be pinned and renamed, or a new official one will be created. For now, please discuss the "Magnum" in the topic below

    MafiaX's Advice Page

Yeah, I know the effect is longer at higher ranks. I'm talking about the damage it deals per second, which will always be 5hp/sec and 10hp/sec with DD. The minimum and maximum damage range has nothing to do with burning effect - it only defines the actual damage range while the firebird is attacking another tank. The table from the wiki doesn't actually seem to have a row for "burning damage", which is actually really weird.

Should dating be allow'd in tanki?

There is no rule that prohibits players from posting questions like "who wants to date?" and similar in chat. I will definitely agree that trying to use the battle chat to find a dating partner is stupid and extremely out of place, considering that this is a shooter game, but there is no reason why "dating" conversations should be prohibited in chat. Therefore you can't get a ban for such conversations UNLESS you start discussing sexual topics and more inappropriate things. Now that can definitely get you banned, which is right. P.S. If someone is constantly annoying you in chat with dating questions you can always just block them, so their messages won't show up.
  24. There were two or three battles that surpassed the 1 000 000 mark on the battle fund. All three happened during the triple fund celebration weekend. The first two were on 999 flag PRO silence and the biggest one with over 1 800 000 fund was on 999 flag PRO Dusseldorf.
