You're welcome but... It doesn't work properly at all ranks. The better fund distribution has nothing to do with Matchmaking. It coincided, that's all. Clanmates can still play against clanmates, friends against friends. I've already been multed so please don't say "no mults". And then there are mission mults - they're 10 a penny. Not many pros on your list so how you came up with "somewhat fine" is still beyond me. The biggest negative by far is only 4 friends can join a group. Clan size is 12. The clan I'm in regularly chat on discord while we play. If only 4 are playing together, the rest that are on have to play by themselves. They can't even see where we are. There are far more cons I could add to but there is little point.

You know this won't last don't you? It's classic tanki. Introduce something unpopular and give something extra to begin with to soften the blow - when the noise dies down, remove or lessen the sweetner.

Definitely not. But maybe some accumulative bonus for those that stay. Something like altering the crystal return rate maybe. Stay for a full match and your crystal returns are x1.01 (101%) - ie, current reward plus 1% This accumulates to a max. 110% for playing 10 consecutive battles without leaving. Should you leave the battle early at anytime for any reason, including disconnects, your accumative bonus is reset to x1.0 The numbers can obviously be adjusted. So now I have wasted my time typing this, everyone in tanki please feel free to ignore it.

The game has always been mediocre, it's the friends and the rivalries that made it enjoyable. You're right! Too many changes too fast and a total disregard from tanki have turned this game from something we used to enjoy to something that now has to be endured. Sad but true.

And tanki let you buy and MU them in the knowledge that you wouldn't get much use from them but the argument from helpers here is that you benefitted from them and tanki didn't make you buy them. And if you're still in any doubt, EULA. I myself have over 10 fully upgraded triple modules that haven't even been used for 10 hours each, some just a couple of hours. I know how you're feeling. I don't have any confidence in any purchases now. My appetite for this game is waning more and more with each passing day. I feel truly let down. It's not just me either, many friends feel the same.

My garage hasn't always been this strong and I was cannon fodder for a long time but by playing everyday, buying the occasional crystals at the right times, using sales and gradually buiding up my protections, I'm eventually in a position to be able to defend myself adequately against most of what is out there. It's taken me two years since the disintergration update, which seperated paints from protections, to get this far. 2 years is hardly "forever" as you put it. I will never buy again and I will spend far less time playing this game from now on. What is the point of striving for something in this game if just going to be taken away from you when you achieve it? Let me reiterate, it's not about the money I have spent, I knew I was wasting that from the outset. Could you imagine if everyone got the equivalent of helper protection? 20% protection from everything? The outcry would be enormous. How would the majority of helpers respond to that? I mean, to use Maf's argument, it's not like they'd lose anything? Or would they? So enough is enough for me. There are too many resets in this game for me to stay interested and I'm sick of reading all the groveling apologist excuses. I'm not leaving just yet but from now on, should I play, I won't be trying my usual 100% to win because I've learned there is no point trying anymore.

I have no interest in playing a rigged game. I /vote players on the opposite side constantly, as do my clanmates. Further, I have removed those from my friend list that think being on mult duty will impress me. It doesn't. 100% sure? Says more about you than me. Nearly forgot to mention too that neither I or my clanmates will not even join the opposite side to let others in. I see this go on all the time too and nothing gets done about it. Games can be ruined in less than a minute.

Mult might mean Multiple Account but in everyday tanki speak it's synonymous with someone on your side who has no interest in trying to play to anywhere near what they're capable of for whatever reason. They're everywhere in this game. Everywhere. Mission Mults are now a thing too. These guys just join your battle to take all the boxes that fall and sod anyone they're disrupting in the process. Tanki have had plenty of oportunity to fix this and haven't. This problem won't be going away with MM.

You don't get and never will. I'll be losing the advantage I currently have over other players, an advantage I spent millions of cyrstals acquiring. It doesn't matter if I'm going to be just as strong as before, what matters to me is my advantage will be curtailed considerably because many more players will now be on an equal footing. The protection part of my garage is currently worth the value of this new system many times over. I would like to be compenstated for that. What I don't want is someone spouting EULA at me every 5 minutes. You have your answer.

Why would tanki ask us to agree to anything when all they have to say is... EULA, bye-bye! And we're back to the contempt I talk about.

Not impossible. One way was to just keep them there to buy in the garage. Another way would have been to convert them into quad modules and sold quads from the beginning and instead of making those modules max upgradable to 50-50-50-50, a simple rule could have been made to make them 30-30-30-30 or even less than that. The disintergration update was really handled badly existing modules should have been coverted at the time in a fair manner but it wasn't. We know why, it was about money and nobody can really argue differently. And here we are again less than 2 years down the line making yet more changes. Let's hope they learned from the last time and don't make the same mistakes.

It's more the time, effort and crystals put into acquiring what I have. The value of my protections right now will be worth much more than the maxed out value of the new system. As I say, if I'm not adequately compensated for the difference then I won't be playing any more and tanki will lose my future business. I know I'm just one person and tanki won't miss me but that's all part and parcel of that contempt I'm talking about isn't it.

If I'm adequately compensated and treated fairly then I won't mind. If I'm treated with contempt then I'm out. I meant max upgrade the legacy to the triple equivalent. Thought that was obvious but edited my post for clarity.

I've got over 40 modules (trios and legacy) fully upgraded. If these will be disappearing and millions of crystals are down the drain without refund or compensation then I'm out of this game for good. It's not the money, I don't care about that - It's more about the way we are treated, ie, with contempt. This happened not even two years ago. We were then forced to accept these new modules and accept the fact that we could not max upgrade existing legacy modules, eg, Tiger (smoky 50, rail 28, hammer 50) but we could buy a triple, Grizzly TJ and start again to get it to 50-50-50. July 2016 was when these changes happened last (Disintergration Update) and the increase in attrition and players leaving was very noticable. A lot of players were stabbed in the back and left right there and then. The numbers playing dipped significantly with Halloween the high point in the year with numbers far, far less than previous years. Since then I've stuck with it, slowly built up my garage to help me with defend against most of what is out there. I've done this over time without using speed-ups, using sales and everything else to do it as cost effectively as I can. And now, not even 2 years later, changes are here again. I'm not sure what anyone representing tanki can tell me to appease me right now. Suffice to say, if tanki devs screw this up, I won't be back playing this game and I'm sure many others will do the same. Of course I will wait until the 2nd part of this notification but it would be helpful now if someone can put an end to some of this speculation right now.

yep, was Or.Nah I'm only including players that have played over 200hrs. It's so easy to start off with a high drug rate but hard to maintain it over time. +

It's others what? You didn't finish your sentence. How many of those that threaten to leave actually leave and actually never come back? Do you have figures for those? How many that players don't threaten to leave but leave anyway. Clearly numbers are declining and that's a fact and it's a sad because without players this game is useless. We need to retain as many as we can. When players are threatening to leave, that is a warning sign that should not be ignored and definitely not mocked. I'm guessing they don't want to leave but they're voicing their displeasure at decisions made. Sabotage was one reason for these changes. It wasn't the only reason but it definitely contributed. There are so many ways to deter this. One example would be to reset a player's mission chains if they're disciplined in the violators section. It's a deterrent that would work with many, especially if they're on week 4 or week 10 as it is now. And before you find work arounds, I said one example. 10 minute battles are so easy to influence now. I could enter a battle and stay in the corner of a map for 4½ minutes then leave. Or I could just run around a battle collecting repair kits for 10 minutes, destroying the occassion tank as I go. It's crazy one player is still allowed to ruin a battle for 9 other players. Punishments for violators need to be much harsher. These are killing the game, these are ultimately why players are leaving, even if they don't realise it. Violators will be the death of this game and while many have warned against this, decision makers within tanki are too stubborn to acknowledge it and it won't get fixed with matchmaking either because they're just creating new reasons for people to leave. If only...

Morbid curiosity perhaps? Years back on one weekend, I remember renting a movie to watch. I can't remember the name of it but it was so so bad. Every 5 minutes I felt like switching it off and doing something else but there was something there that kept me watching it. I'd say to myself, it's got to get better in a minute - it'll get better in a minute. I ended up watching the whole thing. I was hoping for some kind of positive change but it never came. I felt robbed. Whoever directed it knew how to keep your bum on your seat. It was the suspense that something good might eventually come. It was such a downer. Tanki is like this. Arsenal supporters know what I'm talking about.

Some dishonest players sabotage no matter what. If they happen to be placed on your side while you're trying to win honestly, there is no way they're gonna try when they see you. Some clans are allied with that many other clans, it would be easier to list the clans they're not allied with. Sometimes I feel like doing what they do and sabotage back but I have something called pride and it always gets in the way.

Have they also messed with the probability of mission rewards? I usually only have to change the mission I don't like once maybe twice in order to get something that is acceptable. All that was returned today was speedboosts or dm's and I changed about 7 times as an experiment. Leopards can't change their spots can they. 50 pts for cp - What's that about? We're going to see the biggest summer slump in tanki history I feel. You're gonna have to give us special events every other weekend now until halloween if we're to stay interested but even then, you'll only attract those who don't care about the battle result. All this messing the game really is not necessary.

Want this topic closed? Well we can have another flame war if you like and hazel will close this topic. I don't care. It's easy for me to maintain this topic as it's all automated but if you'd rather it close, or not kept updated then keep up your trouble making.
