    I have given this a +1 for the bravery but I have SERIOUS CONCERNS about this. Now that the battle fund rises so much faster, more and more players join sides just to mult, sabotage and hinder the opposite team to ensure their friends or alternative accounts can win that battle fund. In short there is more than a reason now than ever to mult. I've won about 100 crystals tonight. Can't win a game for love nor money. Too many players causing me grief, not healing, just sitting there doing nothing etc, etc. The devs are trying their best I'm sure to satisfy the majority but it's like they're trying to fit a carpet in a room. Every time they make one corner fit, it pops up in another corner. Put it back to predictable drops and get rid of the 50 and 100. Introduce a new kick system.

    This sounds like a really, brave and positive move. I'll try it later. With regard to the problem, it was the 50 & the 100 boxes that were the main distraction and the fact that the crystal drop points were made predictable. Keeping the 1, 5, 10 & 20 and removing the predictable drop marker for crystals, might be a halfway house if you find too much of an outcry from those who enjoy harvesting crystals. Solutions can always be found.

    I refused to heal those just waiting for crystals and only healed those truly playing. I'm going for ctf's while they sit their defending their blue spots waiting for 100 to fall. It's a joke. In silence, I just drove up past a load of players who were waiting for the 100 to fall, I grabbed the flag and caputred. The meaning of the game has gone. We need to return to the old scoring method. Those with the most points win most of the pot.

    Since the smart cool downs, raiders are less prevalent but they're still here. They search for existing games with high battle funds. Once a game is found, they come in and do nothing for a while letting the enemy side takeover totally. Players get disheartened and leave, opening up space for more buddy raiders who again do nothing until they have taken over the side completely. When they have enough raiders, they attack with their m4 drugged up combos and overwhelm you. Stealing the fund.

    Fine if they are competing and contributing. If they're not doing these things then they are an obstacle to the team and therefore breaking the rules.

    You could have posted this in that topic. Saboteurs spend their time sabotaging and not scoring. As kick2 is ultimately based on score and work-rate, a saboteur won't last long unless he is actively taking part.

    If I had the time, I could report a mult in almost every battle I play in. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to gather, process and present adequate evidence. There are few honest games in tanki at the higher ranks. I played 1 game this evening with feli-fighter and it got raided with the raiders' mults on our side too. Happens almost every battle.

    Exactly. We are shouting, mults, cheats and sabotage are massive problems, it's a shame there is seemingly no will to do anything meaningful to address them. Tanki are very good at sucking in new players so why aren't we seeing average peek server loads of 100k yet? Attrition is probably the answer. Surely they'd prefer to keep those players who are leaving by addressing the reasons behind them but sorting out the railgun laser fx for example is a far more worthy investment of the devs time. Here is a solution called Kick2.

Community Manager Mariya Trusevich, Mariya_86 said, "to receive spectator rights you need to have your own youtube channel with at least 100 subscribers, where you post your reviews, let's plays or other high quality videos about tanki. If you think you fulfill all these requirements, post a link to your youtube channel in this video blog's forum thread. We'll review and get back to you." She said nothing about karma, reputation or well-written applications. If it is over and done with then the promise of getting back to those who replied in the vlog17 has obviously not been fulfilled yet. I responded in vlog17. I look forward to the Judging crew's response. Please keep this topic open until we all have received our replies.

    You say this every change. Back in April / May, you were saying of weapons and turrets in the rebalance, "which is what they should have been in the first place" Some of us shared our concerns, you gave us a hard time, then Tanki listened to our main criticisms and gave us concessions about 6 weeks later which basically knocked your 'what they should have been' argument down. Your position is strangely, always inline with tanki's latest development, even if they change it a little time after. What if they change this again after all the criticisms this time? Will they not be level then? So why do you think the weapons were not level before and please explain how smart cool downs suddenly makes them all "level"? Are they level in pro battles? Confused!
  22. Tanki are tying themselves in knots lately. This is another example of a failed update because as usual it's been ill thought out and mishandled. The idea though is good and I welcome attempts to kerb excessive drug use but they're now starting to bite the hand that feeds them. I'm sure that everyone in Tanki HQ will be around the meeting table this morning after all the negative feedback they've already gotten. The first step would be to allow a small concession to appease those already angered. Allow more overlap ie, reduce the timers a little to make it easier to use more than 1 supply at a time. Allow health to be used at any time. It's expensive enough so give it special attention. This could be actually be favourable to tanki in the long run. The second step would be a bolt-on suggestion to deter excessive drug use. While 2,3,4 supplies are active, reduce the xp and in-game points a player gets by a percentage. eg, if one is active, reduce the xp by 10%. All 3 active, 30%. This would mean a player could potentially get 7 points for a kill where 10 points would normally be given. I might suggest this in the ideas and suggestions topic later but I'll need encouragement. Many of us are feeling a tad unappreciated lately.

    I'm not dreaming. No harm in discussing it though is there? They might take an idea or 2 from it and incorporate it. Even if they don't take anything from it, it's good to engage with the community about our favourite game! Although we started the topics, some excellent and well considered feedback has come in, things we didn't think about. I'm sure that would also be the case for the devs.
