Sorry for the flooding, I try to keep it low profile. Here's what I proposed in another topic (en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=223668) Thank you -
Smart Cooldowns go live with double garage supplies

Sorry Hazel-Rah, you 're not right. Both in testing server and today after the update my stats really suck. Because I can't play the way I used to, and believe me, I didn't use supplies often. THERE'S A REASON FOR COMPLAINING AND THIS IS NOT IRRATIONAL. Please take this into consideration. -
Smart Cooldowns go live with double garage supplies

Try to focus. Previously, SOME people used drugs all the time. Now, ALL use them from respawn. Still can't see the difference? But we are suckers and TO just exploits this... I 'd better go to bed before I say something worse... -
Smart Cooldowns go live with double garage supplies
RustyNail replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
Speaking of NUMBERS (that is, facts) here 's a good essay; So, this update simply decreased the power of the supplies (and therefore is like encreasing their value in crystals = real money) But did it make people drugg less? ... Not really. and If you don't believe me or you can't see it and think I say these because I don't like the update, here's what a drugger say; he actually feels that it will be more desirable than before for everyone to strategically - AND CONTINUOUSLY - use supplies, that is to start buying after this little "bonus" of free supplies is over... Just like the first "accident" that gave away so many supplies for free and made many players to try, and get accustomed to using them... Coclusion; what did this update do to druggers? Almost nothing, except from those that will leave indeed. Instead of few people buying lots of supplies there will be more people start buing supplies... But what about the main reason that started the drugging protest? Won't there be anymore druggers in battles? I think they will be there without any change. Wait and see. -

Smart Cooldowns go live with double garage supplies

I simply don't believe you. It will make more players that previously didn't buy supplies to start buying.. That's not the point though, the point is that it messes our game style and indicates what to do and where to go. In two words, LESS FREEDOM. -
And so as to justify my negative vote for your post, opposing to this update, means not that we don't appreciate Devs' hard work. In fact, since most players are seriously underaged, I 'm one of the minority who CAN appreciate not only hard work but financial risks as well. Opposing to this update means only that it's not good for our game style. I personally don't want to loose the ability to use all three supplies or even two OF MY CHOICE [at the same time], in the rare occassions I want to use supplies. Loosing that ability criples me and I DON'T WANT TO ADAPT MY GAME STYLE to whatever somebody else thought is the best way for me to play the game. So stop making this opposition a matter of hostility against TO and Devs. It's nothing like that. I like Tanki and I vote with my experience, my reason and my passion for whatever I see best for it.

Well, that's exactly what will happen. Most of the players think that this update will make druggers stop drugging but instead of this it will make non druggers start to drug... Some players are just spending their supplies, feeling that after the update they will give up perhaps... - . - And bottom line for me; I have stopped using supplies except very exceptional occasions. I use only what I get from drop boxes no matter how drugged the opponents are. I intend to do so, even after the update. I have bought supplies before but NO MORE.

Looks like some people don't have a clue what is this all about... stop seeing the carrott in front of your eyes and try to think what this upgrade will ro to your play. Every half an hour or so, someone will write "what a wonderfull upgrade! thank you for the free supplies!" LOL LOL LOL

Dude, you 're dreaming. Quite the opposite. TO find a way to encrease the supplies sales. That's why TO didn't simply encreace the cooldown period for all supplies equally.. Think a little. Dude, you 're dreaming too. Everybody will be on drugs, just two at a time now. Like having an itch (2 supplies) that can't be relieved (234 together). Nobody's going away... Same old, same old. Sorry dude, no wake up calls, just more supplies sales.... Try to think what will happen when most of the time one can have only 2 out of 3 power ons activated. One (and more than one) will be constantly on two power ons... And you will keep waiting for a long time... read above. Nope. More players will buy supplies as the distance between using supplies and not using supplies will be shorter. Druggers will keep buying and some non druggers will start buying. Clever, right? Congratulations TO. Smart move indeed.! But GREED is viable in a short - term scale... In other "free" online games, the game mechanics are ballanced for a 20 - 40 % buying any kind of "premioumship"... In TO, you 're going to make it 60 - 70 % maybe...

Dude, if you think this update of "smart cooldown" will make the druggers walk away, you 're gonna get a bad surprice.. it will only make the game more complex, for all.

Having in mind some celebrities, I 'd say not only alliens exist but they walk among us as well :D

LOL! Another groupie :P

Hard to say, or rather hard to do. Because what I 'd like is to participate in launcing a new community, that of Southeast Europe (based in Greece preferably) and helping greek clans to spread in the game. Part of it is making a starladder career and helping spread cybersports as well. In other words, I like Tanki and I would like to help it expand. But it's an ambitious goal and many turns of events can be an obstacle. 30.09.2014 update Of course, that was before the update. Now my goal is less ambitious.... that is, to reconsider my options for online gaming...

For big maps only (or even special Quatro maps in the future). Four teams, four flags, two alliances (2X2 teams). Each team captures either of two enemy flags. In the end, all allied captures gather and define the score. Victory for two teams, dividing the funds per team score. Example; Deep blue team allied with Light blue team (Blue Alliance). Dark red team allied with Orange team (Red Alliance). (Set up on the map either side by side or cross set up - that is, allied teams directly opposite from each other) Lets say they play for 20 minutes, unlimited flags. Blue Alliance -Team A (Deep Blue) caprures 12 flags. -Team B (Light Blue) captures 7 flags. Red Alliance -Team C (Dark Red) captures 16 flags. -Team D (Orange) captures 0 (zero) flags. Winner is Alliance Blue with 12+7=19 flags, while Alliance Red captured 16+0=16 flags (although Team C captured the most flags of all). Battle funds are divided in two steps; First, each Team is given funds as if it were a sinle player. That is, as if the battle was between TEAM ALLIANCE BLUE [player A and B] and TEAM ALLIANCE RED [player C and D]. Second step, each Team divides what it gets to its players according to individual score. I'm not good with that kind of maths but it souldn't be hard for TO Devs to implement such a type for dividing funds. In case the battle set up is flag limited then the first ALLIANCE to capture the top number of flags is winner and the battle is over. This idea seems fascinating and it would be great to see it in action. Even if TO Devs decide not to adapt this idea for a map mode, it would be worth considernig for clan tournaments. Givving the oportunity to multiple clans make a cooperative war against other clans. Thanks for reading this, don't forget to upvote if you like the idea.

Dude, ending first isn't a sign of a positive view of this update. I myself yesterday finished on top scores but at the same time I didn't like the gameplay. Why? Because in order to do it I played without enjoying the game. The idea is good, but matterialization of it is not. Yet. So we need more thought and changes. In last vlog Semyon Kirov said that this update is not going to mean less supplies per battle. I think this is a mistake. It should mean less supplies per battle. More time without drugs. And when drugs allowed, every player should deside what and how many at the same time is needed. = + = Another thing is, PLEASE stop dividing players in drug lovers and drug haters. There is a third part, maybe big enough that wants the extra spice of drugs, only not constantly. I thing this is where strategy comes, along with the ability to deside the when and where of drugs. But strategy cannot be leaded and manipulated, as this update is trying to do, telling us what to use and when to use it.

Well, after the first test.... I 'm sorry to say I 'm dissapointed. :( And I was (still am) strongly against constant drugging... First things first; This update was supposed to take away the possibility of constant drugging. It doesn't. Everybody still can come with drugs all the time, only not all together but with one or two. Somehow, it doesn't feel ballanced. Second, not having all supplies the same cool down period, I had to pay attention to lower left of screen, missing important momments / actions in the battle (in the center). Problem. I can't calculate which supply I 'll use next (or will be available) and at the same time drive my tank in the middle of the battle......... Third, what exactly is the "smart" thing in the order of cooling down? Certain strategies may come handy with the specific order of cooling down, others not. Many times I was too early near the enemy base but I couldn't use what I needed, while some other supply that I didn't need was at my disposal.. other times, my most valiable supply was out of reach and I couldn't do what I planned to do... Furthermore, there are times that all three supplies are necesary. Bye bye that option, no matter what we are told. (having all three activated just for 5 seconds and then loosin one, is not the same with using all together at the same momment) Bottom line, I really don't think that TO Devs can calculate a "proper" or "best" way of using the supplies in a specific order. The game is so complex, always diverting due to different players' actions, that nobody can say which supply will be needed what time... Conclusion; my initial opinion is that this update is not good. (I will be sure tommorow, after another testing). Bad idea to limit this way the use of supplies. Come on guys, it was a thought, it had a reason, a certain logic.. but application shows that it won't solve the problem, it will only disguise it. The real solution is to limit the total time of use, by increasing the cooling of supplies for a certain amount of time. That's the way for anybody not to be able to repeat 234 without spending some time "naked". And for the allowed period let anybody decide what combination of supplies he / she will use. p.s. Even if you decide to go on with the update, don't include Health and Mines in the "smart" coold down. Making these two unreachable when needed is the worst idea regarding the whole issue... p.s.2 I think there should be a chance for constand use of supplies (so that druggers will be happy and the company .. as well) in PRO battles, using an "unlimited supplies" button. That's fair, for constant users (and top ranks that have no other opportunity in spending their crystalls). p.s.3 THANKS for giving us the opportunity to test not only the use of supplies but advance gismo as well. It was like a day in Disneyland, never to be forgotten :D :P

Valid Damage to maps, destructible terrain
RustyNail replied to HaloScorpion in Ideas and Suggestions
What would happen in a map like Serpuhov (or anyone else) after 10 minutes of hard core action? The whole map would be a plain field, wouldn't it? I think what you want is to play Demolish Online lol (no offence meant)- 90 replies

Αυτό είναι ένα πολύ καλό μέρος για να γνωριστούμε οι Έλληνες που παίζουμε τάνκι. :) ( και να βρω κι εγώ κανένα παππού σαν κι εμένα  )

My thoughts exactly. But don't mind me, I 'm not a fan of Silence.. ;) By the way, I do remember the slaughter ramp back in those days of tanki youth lol what a masacre.... Back then, I did like Moon Silence... now, not anymore...

How do you know that thing dude?

Mmm... I 'm not sure. I 'd say you do, but maybe you have a different line of thought based on facts or factors I don 't know.. That's why I asked you..

Hazel, if I may ask, do you agree in general terms with my (general) approach or not?
