    I would agree that spending 600 or 700 $ in a game is not reason enough to be acused of not having a life. It's highly probable though... It's not our bussiness bottom line. However, I am talking not for the player(s) but for Tanki itself. The Devs, having created a "free" game for all, a game hat aims to be really popular and be played by hundreds of thousands of people around the globe, should not surpass some limits. In charging "premium" assets for the so called "free" game. You understand I suppose. Here is where they have gone rogue IMO, they turned the game towards intense promoting the use of drugs and Pro Passes so that instead of free it has become almost freemium.

    I think it's unethical spending that much to a game. Personal opinion of course, but it's not like we are living in fiscal heaven, are we? I wouldn't mind if a really rich person spends that kind of money to a game, but as a general requirement I think it's alot. In other words, even if some players can afford that kind of money for Tanki, Tanki itself should not adjust the game to that wallets only. Most of us players can't and shouldn"t spend that much for a game, and a supposedly "free" one. That's why my downvote..

    Am I dreaming? Do those people give away - or would if they had the money - 100s of dollars / euros for a single sale of Tanki? Well, how much does Tanki cost in a period of two years? 300, 400 euros? Is this normal pay, when there are hundreds thousands buyers? I understand the urge, for a good game. But so much? It certainly seems not right to me! People live on 300 euros for a month... :(

    What on Earth do you mean "20 minutes are not used by the majority of players"??? Are we reading different stats? Am I reading stats from another, parallel universe, perhaps? Or you think that all of us are cretins? Stay tuned, I'll be back for more... :angry: EDIT OK, here's what I feel the message is: I mean, seriously, how long do you think we are going to look the other way? If you keep adding to Tanki's fees, soon you 're going to find out that Tanki is no more a popular game.. Word spreads, you know... None of my friends is trying Tanki, since it's quite obvious that it's anything but a "free game". p.s. Merry Christmas.. <_<

    Can't capture screen with lightshot anymore

    I use Lightshot to capture images of my screen. I 've been doing this for many months. It's been two days now that all I can get is black screen, like this: It's not only when it shows on the internet but from the beggining, once I press printscreen button my screen shows only black (so whatever I capture is just black). I don't know if it's an issue of Lightshot or Tanki. Anybody any idea?

    Not all. Just the loved ones. I guess some are not loved, maybe not even bought in M3, like I don't own a shaft (other than M0). So, I think that only two - maximum - combos are going to become M4.. But as far as most want, after the loved combos become M4 saving crystals has meaning only for drugs.

    So you say that without drugs they get killed and so less time goes by undrugged? Well, start thinking again... if drugging time FOR ALL is much less than today's then one (without drugs) won't die that easily and battles will be more balanced and survival will be more possible. Don't worry, I 'm not afraid of reading (unlike many others here) and I read whole forums, not just a couple of posts. The problem of drug necessity near the last ranks is due to fully upgraded tanks of most players. When one brigadier or a major general goes with an M3 combo against a marshal or a generalissimo, the problem is not the rank but the high possibility that the generalissimo will be on a MU M3 combo, that is practically an M4. So, no way to kill an M4 without drugs (as a rule). The second reason last ranks are drugging alot is that after one MUs his tanks, then the ONLY EXPENSE is Pro Pass and drugs. That's why these ranks can justly -IMO - request access to drugs and free use of them, while the rest of us keep saving crystals for upgrading tanks. Based on those two facts and respecting the financial restrictions of many players, I proposed to TO to cancel the drugs as a major income source and keep this (as an income source) only for generalissimos. My perspective is the common welfare and not just the opportunity for few to have endless fun on the expense of many.

  14. I do not use Shaft. I bought a M1 (I think, not sure) and I don't use it. (there's no point using M1 shaft when all my team mates and opponents use mostly M3 / M3Mu gizmo) So, my experience with shaft is exclusively as an opponent, not a user. According to this experience, shaft used to be less powerfull in battle, a few months ago. Then, Devs shortened the reloading time and suddently I started see shafts on light tanks wandering the map. While previously shaft was a turret for campers, it became a turret for mobile play as well. In other words, it became more dominant than before. After the recent laser update it's true that shafters became visible targets, but on the other hand the lack of tremble made shaft a more deadly weapon. since the odds of missing are now next to none. So, in a way, shaft became even more powerfull than before. That's why now I have to find and eliminate every shaft in my way, in order to survive. I think I explained clearly why I wrote that shaft became more powerfull, didn't I?

    Hey dude, can you explain this please? Because I am buffled; after a drug's use (of 45 seconds) is over and while in cooling period (of 60 seconds) isn;t that an undrugged period? If a drug is used 10 times, that is a maximum playing time of 450 seconds with drugs and 600 seconds without drugs. How is that not equal to more undrugging time?

    Ok, I gave it a try (or two).. Impressions; First, power: gets a 6 (out of 10), similar to thunder (actually a bit less). From up close and personal it's ok, but as soon as you stand back a little, it's ... I don't know, as if nothing happened. Second, looks (design): gets a 6 too, it's handsomely ugly, with the military charm of a killing machine, not elegant, rather barock. But spreads an air of stamina. Third, visuals. ... Well, gets a 3, in other words it's absolutely ridiculous. The worst kind of cartoons is better than hammer. Surgeon needed ASAP. Fourth, price.... What can I say, (normal price, but...) you're out of your mind to get it on sale for Xmass when you have totally screwed the crystal drops, and after enforcing to us another fix expense, drugs. Forget it. Not going to buy it, unless you start giving away more (and I mean MORE) crystals. Overall, it really don't impress me, I don't feel that there was a missing turret or a gap for hummer to fill it. I mean, why should anyone buy it? What can it do that other turrets don't do? Am I missing something?

    Plus, the battles now are more drug-demanding, usually it's not worth spending 1000 crystal's worth supplies just to get 500 (if you're in the winning team)... Instead of earning crystals, now if you're lucky or skilled enough, you might get back in funds half the supplies you spend in battles. And PLEASE, don't anyone start mumbling anything like "with skill you can earn more". I've got some and it's not enough to replenish the lost crystal drops.
  20. I am not a Shaft player, I usually play against Shafts in CTF battles. My experience after the update indicates that Shaft became more strong than before. The laser beam might be a give away of shaft's position and in most cases (not all, though!) this is a disadvantage, but eliminating the tremble in sniper mode makes it a more powerfull weapon, and an unforgiving one.. So, shafters should feel happy about this, unless they sleep while targeting.. My proposal, well, of course is "bring back the tremble or increase the loading period of shaft"! EDIT: All those that gave me negative reputation, are they shafters that don't like what I propose (I find it natural then) or they simply disagree with what I experienced regarding Shaft? I am curious to know if they thing that shaft didn't become stronger after the laser update.

    Unfortunately, I think this idea is not a good one, for the following reason: The amount of crystals one gets (according to this idea) when leaving the game is based - among others - to the current rate of victory (that is, which team is winning and which is loosing). But what if after one leaves the losing team becomes winning and vice versa? Then, a different split of funds would apply.... So, it's not that easy to predetermine the final result for giving a player that is leaving the proper funds. A pity, this could be very interesting development (unlike most of the recent updates).

    Please, I have writen too many times the solution, and if it is hard for you to search for my posts, I will send you a message in a few hours. Bottom line is, reducing druggers is very simple if there is a will. Only, it will cut off a part of TO's income and here's where the real issue is, they don't want that. I'll text you in a while.

    Sorry, you're not thinking straight. Here's why: 1. There aren't many players with a lot of supplies, except some generalissimos. Most of them are being used very quickly. But even if some players have a significant quantity, this will soon finish. I remember, after the "mistake" of giving for free alot of supplies I had 300-400 of each, and it lasted no more than two weeks. Actually, if one uses them constantly (which is the issue here) one can spend 100 of each, in only 1 or 2 hours game. So, eihter large quantities exist or not, in a matter of a couple of weeks they will be gone. 2. Longer cooling period equals to more undrugging battle time, no matter how many supplies one has. Supplies that cannot be used are as good as no supplies at all. Thus, the quantity possesed in the garage is really indiferent. Although, as I said, a rare / expensive add on will be saved for special occasions only.
