Once paints are available (you know, ... soon LOL) hammer will be nurfed so much.. it's not worth any more comments untill we see that's like with paints against it. If faster sniping means what I think it does, get ready for a bran new complain from me.... Tanki. Now off I go to see what really changed. -

That's nonsense... All it takes for someone to get the box is a dictator and many supplies. Goldbox as it is, has little to do with skill / strategy, even luck. Just money, that's what matters. Me, using light hulls (hornet mostly) don't have a chance to fight against drugging dictators and vikings, so sometimes I don't even try when I see lots of them. That's not true. Few simple changes and gold boxes can be accesible to more players. 1. Non predictable zones. Goldboxes fall randomly in the map, excluding maybe the flag (or CP) areas. 2. Split every box of 1000 crystals into two boxes of 500 crystals that fall at the same time in two different areas. 3. Implement a system like Kick-2 to automatically locate inactive players / mults and remove them from battles. With these three simple conditions who can say that some players are excluded form getting the goldboxes? Kick-2 (that is mentioned above) is such a system that can locate inactive players and mults. Take a look in the topic, it's very interesting and a possible solution regarding mults.

They don't want to divide the servers by rank, that would be very easy, all they had to do is set limits in rank to different servers. What they say they want - and I believe them in that - is that every player when loggs in, will "land" automatically at the "right" server for him / her, according to the battles that are ongoing that moment A kind of reverse osmosis....

Bad idea (removing the ability to switch servers)... Only a few servers have the battles I like and certainly they're not the ones Tanki sends me to....

Ok, I am willing to forget that the unique XT tank (along with the unfair* paint FROST) was available for RENT ONLY for a RIDICULOUS PRICE, and I stick to the idea of producing unique (decorative only?) items for crystals. Having that in mind I decide to give Tanki my support on the ground that if the unique item is a decorative alteration of an existing item, the price can be as high as Tanki sees fit, BUT if the unique item has variations (in relation to standard items) in aspects as power, velocity, weight, reload time, endurance etc, then the price SHOULD be lower** than that of the standard item. Anything else is just an attempt of another ripoff. Btw, your poll was not (IMO) really accurate. Here's my accurate voting *the only paint with hammer protection? come on, this is not a serious atitude... ** Why lower? Because a technical variation of an existing item increases the products on sale, making people to buy more items than before. It would be unfair and a ripoff if these new items where as expensive as the standard items. It would be as if one has to buy two hornets instead of one.. The least you can do is sell the second hornet cheaper than the first. Self Evident.

Me too. It's a fail, really. When I "land" in the server I see only a buntch of battles, (seriously, some times no more than a dozen, or even just half) and none of them in a favorite map or of a convenient duration. So, I move to Russian 10, or 4 or 2 (according to time) where I can find a suitable battle. That's only for your information (Devs), I really don't have a problem with that, it doesn't bother me.

Well, since this XT / Frost period is nearly over and this post will be locked, it's time for me to say this; TO gave a very bad impression to me (and others) by blackmailing players to buy hammer when (because) no protection against it was available, and after, blackmail number two, by giving for RENT ONLY the one and only paint that gives protection from hammer, Frost. Most players may be underaged and easily manipulated into spending ridiculous money for such things but there are some of us that understand. Know this Tanki, for future reference, enthusiasm evaporates when such tactics are applied. :mellow:

Nope. Not a single crystal. A matter of prinsiple. Let them advertize it all they want. No money, no honey. I'm talking for frost, hull and turret are a no-no eitherway. My advise, stop responding to such ripoffs, you encourage them to keep trying. even if you have the money.

Even after the change, this map is a FAIL. Creating flags halfway to the top doesn't change the fact that spawn happens out in the open, below. Meaning, camper's paradise! Lame. Not going to play it again.

ANOTHER EPIC FAIL, EXTREMELY UNBALANCED MAP. <_< I' ll pass untill next year. This map is designed for very optimistic people, naively optimistic, as well as masochists. Both bases are out in the open, lower ground in regards to the Capture point, so that once a team takes over the top (capture point) can effortlessly camp somewhere along the slope down and take out all opponents. No wonder shafts are very happy (provided they're winning of course). B) In a way it's quite opposite to Polygon CP. However, to be fair, there are good elements and with a few alterations this map can become really favorite.. Tip; get ideas from Chernobyl.. ;) Ok, that's it, see you next year. (Wish for 2015; much less updates and much less greedy designs from Devs. Amen)

Sorry to dissapoint you, but this update doesn't really makes a different to me. It sends me right to EN servers where I can't find many battles (usually 2 or 3 only) which are not of my preferences (maps I don't like). So I have to nove to RU servers to find my beloved 10vs10 Serpuhov or Kungur, or even Rio... But hey, it doesn't bother me either, so no need to fix anything. :huh: (I have started to have nightmares of game mechanics always changing and never really knowing what am I suppose to do, he he he...)

Feature: Battles with obvious outcome will end sooner

The idea is decent, but the performance lacks accuracy in my opinion, based on a couple of occasions I participated in such battles. Further consideration is required. As for "stuborn" players, why worry about it? If they persist, they get beaten by winning team, the winning team gets more score and all are happy, no? :) Here are some correct points of view.. But apart from this, that's what I think; What has score to do with lost battles? Sometimes for certain periods score becomes slow moving or pausing.... Flags even more. But what is the real condition of a lost battle? It's deserting the team. When one team is left with ZERO players, then conditions are met. OR, if a team is left with only 1 or 2 players, the conditions are met to start the timer. But beware of small teams battles. 2 vs 2 can falsely trigger the alarm if one player is gone, although the one left may be more than capable of maintaining the battle. So, the second real condition of this timer should be the number of players accorting to initial number. Ideally, large teams are more possible to rightly trigger the alarm. Small teams, carry the danger of creating false alarms... Take these into consideration. Overall I would propose a combination of a team left with less than 1/3 or 1/4 of initial players PLUS a surrender signial, from these few players. Seems more accurate in my opinion. -
Still debating about Shaft? Why? Just a look at battles can persuade you that Shaft is there, stronger than ever. (ok, not ever, let's say in last 12 months) Maybe shafters are on the run because of the laser, but a balanced team with 1 or 2 shafts can cause much pain to the opponent. If previously shaft was hard opponent, now it''s ruthless. That's all I experience in CTF battles. Isn't it common evidence?

Well, Tanki, I'm trying hard to behave due to Christmas season, but you make it real impossible.... :wacko: Greedily smart I'd say... Actually, apart from them being that smart, it's looking like they think we are quite morons. Because only a moron would give that huge amount of crystals to have for a few days something not really interesting (just a shiny garbage)... millionaires excluded. No, it should be rejected by players for being an attempt for ripoff. Seems they're coming with one horible idea after the other... After getting all the Christmas sales, still trying to get more!!! Incredible... Greedy greedy Tanki, always trying to milk hard on us... :angry: No comment required, dude said it all. Isn't it laughable? One could MU one's own M3 rail with this money, instead of just having this piece of junk for a few days only. :D . - . - . So, botom line, NO. Thanks, but NO thanks!
