I know that the sale isn't a very good one for Halloween (13%), but I don't want to wait any longer. I'm buying Hornet m2 for 52k out of my 119k. That means I will still have 67k, enough for Firebird m2 at the Christmas sales.

[Issue 42] Why a 40% Off Sale is Better than 50% Off

I'm sure they will; New Year is one of the biggest celebrations. If they do not have a sale for some reason, they will put something else in its place. -
[Issue 42] Why a 40% Off Sale is Better than 50% Off

Yeah, I guess so, but more will still drop on average. It doesn't really matter because I rarely get any boxes, and say I get one (1k), it is not as good as a sale (saving 30k or 15k). I seem to be complaining; yes, I don't like the fact that there will not be a sale, but I am not raging about it or going out of my way to make people look bad. -
[Issue 42] Why a 40% Off Sale is Better than 50% Off

Pity about the Halloween sale not actually being a sale. Now I may have to wait for the Christmas sales to buy the items I want, or just buy full price, losing 30k. The gold box increase is cool, the problem is that I never seem to catch them... -
It does affect the game, so they made the chance of getting it really low. You may be able to hope for one every one or two months (purely a guess). I have so far received one PD on m1 hammer, nothing else yet.

I am using Jaguar as my main paint now...
-
I fully mu'd the m1 Isida's range to make it slightly cheaper, even though I never really used it. My m2 only has one upgrade on damage and rotation speed, so no, I don't. I have mu'd my other m1 things (Firebird's reload and Hornet's Turning speed). I picked the cheapest options (the reload was worth it, and the turning speed is nice, but not worth it, I guess). As for Isida, just try to keep your beam on the enemy for as long as possible while making it harder for them to attack you by moving around/blocking their way to places, etc.

I have had similar questions... I believe the personal discount becomes available only when you first enter each day; only once. I am not sure about the test drives.

It unlocks one rank above you (captain). If you want to see kits unavailable to you at your current rank, then go to the garage, look in the lower "shop" section (where you can buy new items) and go past all items available at your rank. You can see all paints, supply kits and normal hull/paint/turret kits. Mosquito kit costs over 100k. It just disappeared from my garage, so I don't know exactly what is costs. EDIT: Mosquito kit costs 196 980 crystals. All info on kits can be found here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=181748&page=1 EDITED EDIT: Here is the wiki page... http://en.tankiwiki.com/Product_kits

Viking is obviously better than Titan for use with short-range turrets. Glad to help, good that it helped. Bluebird13.
-
I love short range turrets most. I guess with Titan it would be hard to circle players, yet you won't be knocked around as much as a wasp or hornet would. Heavy hulls don't normally have a good turning speed, so it can be harder to keep up with other faster tanks. With practice you should get better with it. Try blocking the way of other tanks when they are attacking or circling you (versing short-range). This works well on Island, and with Titan you should have little trouble (except with your speed), because of your high weight/power.

I use Isida m2 as my main team game weapon. I find it helps if you try to stay at a distance from the enemy/teammate, but still in range; don't stick right next to them. It is harder to lock your beam on them if you are too close. Also, (you may already do this) try to block their path so that they cannot circle you if they are a fast hull or have a high knock-back turret. On the other hand, you should circle them. Obviously practice helps. You may already be a pro at all of this. I hope some of this helps you. Considering your rank, this would actually be excellent equipment to buy. However, 144k is a lot of crystals, so I personally would wait for something else/better to come out. It is definitely worth it; if you read some of the above I have typed you will see that I use Isida at my rank. Hornet m2 is a great buy too.
-
It means that I am a premium user. I am supreme... ...Everyone gets to try a premium account for one day, so I am not really supreme.
-
It would be good if you are able to get a premium account for a day as a super mission, etc.

You have no light hulls, so go for m1 Hornet. I think most people like hornet; I know I do. I still use my M1 now because I'm waiting for a sale before I buy M2. All I have done is maxed out turning speed and a bit of protection. I haven't even upgraded normal speed and I still do okay with it, unless I'm versing multiple Railguns or Shafts. If you want a better turret then save for Thunder, Twins or any other more expensive m1. You have three m1s anyway. If you get good with them then they will be fine until you get something better. Hope this helps, Bluebird13.

If you read the first page, or everyone else's comments you will figure out that it is random upon entering the game or when entering a battle for the TD. You aren't likely to get it often at all, so don't worry about whether it works or not; it will.
-
I just got my first Personal discount yesterday. Forget about the update and when it finally appears you can be surprised. Every week is a bit of an overstatement... Yep, it is.
-
If you feel like you could save up to 35k then you could buy Twins. If not, then I'd recommend Firebird or Smokey. Firebird still can be used at my rank and you can do okay (if you MU it) and it is quite cheap. Smokey is a bit more expensive, but it has quite a good range, and the critical strike damage helps make it really effective. Back on the subject of Twins, this weapon is, like Firebird, still effective at my rank. If you MU it, it will win you plenty of matches and you will be set until your first m2. However, it does cost a lot for someone at your rank. All three turrets can do well if you use them correctly and MU them.
-
At the moment, I will still be going through each modification for my main turrets, but I guess that when (if) I get to the high ranks then I will just buy the m3 straight off. Thanks! This is a permanent feature to Tanki; for the rest of the time you play this game you will have the chance to get a personal discount or test drive (at least until Unity).
-
Thanks, it is good to know the feature actually works... Don't think I don't have any M1s; I still use my M1 Firebird for deathmatches (it is better than Isida m2). I have enough money for the m2, just waiting for a sale and to rank up X2.
-
My first PD, finally. However, soon M2 Hammer will be available to me. M1 is definitely not worth it... Still haven't received a TD. Wish I got one of them instead.
-
No-one has been able to answer this yet. Could anyone who has answers try to answer this? Thanks, Bluebird13.
-
Other people's answers will probably be better than mine; I am a lower rank than you. I'd recommend waiting for Christmas. If you really need a better weapon, then buy it at Halloween. Hopefully the sale will be a good one (probably not). I don't know how good certain m3s are at your rank, and don't know when they become available. If you were to buy a kit then buy one with better m3s in it than Isida.

[Issue 42] [Story] Warphare: Interpersonal

Lovely, he didn't even remember what he did. Not the nicest ending, is it a "to-be-continued"? Nice article, Bluebird13.
