22 193 This is so funny! I open this game, and see the goal, the first few comments, and then I go to the last page:

I used Firebird m1 even into the lieutenant ranks. After that, I bought Isida m2, but still used Firebird for DM. I found it a great turret (I would win). I MU'd the reload speed to max, and about the first four in damage. Everything else was either nothing or 2-3 steps MU'd.

Thanks, I'm now pretty sure I will buy m2 Hammer, and also m2 Hunter (unless I decide against it at the last minute). :)

Since you would be aiming for m1s, don't MU your turrets, but save for the next modification. If you really want to MU, then upgrade the first few levels only (they should be quite cheap). Are you talking about m0s? If so, then Maybe Twins until you get something better. If you mean m1s, then I would suggest Firebird, because it is cheaper, but if you do not care about price then go for Twins. The added range is good.

Yeah, no worries! By the way, I think I am going for Hammer over Thunder now. I have been noticing that people think it does better more often than not, as opposed to Thunder. I will probably be getting Hunter, too, so if I do pick Hammer, then I will tell you what I think (if I remember).

Okay, I understand now. In my mind, I was thinking that you skip the previous modification and go to the next; not incorporate it in the m3. That was where I was confused. Well, I don't know if I would be getting m3 Thunder, but I may get m3 Hammer. Your advice tells me to therefore buy Thunder m2, but you still recommend Hammer m2. At the moment, I am now leaning towards Hammer m2, or nothing. I want something other than M2 Firebird because I think that gameplay may get boring. I think I will get Hammer m2, since you found Thunder's reload sluggish (and other reasons, for example, my playing style), plus probably Hunter m2 to match both Firebird and Hammer. I already have m2 Hornet, so now I will have a pair of turrets, and hulls. I don't think I will buy a paint yet, as I may not have enough money, and Cedar isn't really needed by me much at the moment. THANKS for everyone's replies!

I think that although I have been leaning towards Thunder, I have got more good feedback for Hammer. You have basically said that Hammer does better than the Thunders. I dunno what to do now; I think I would be happy with both. What did you mean by this; "...where you can purchase M3 (With Free M2 included)." What is free about buying an m2, then later getting an m3? Do you mean MU'ing? Thanks for your help, again, and congrats on your rankup (although that may not mean much to you, because you probably are already halfway to your next rank...)

Oh, okay, I understand now. I didn't know percentage changed. On the subject of those m2 turrets, which do you think is more effective? It's good to know they are still hanging around, as I will probably be using them then, till I get something better. Thanks. :) PS You seem to rank every week...

Good guide, I learnt a few things (tallest combo in the game) and it was interesting. At the moment, I'm thinking of buying Hammer m2, or Thunder m2. I also may buy Hunter or Dictator m2 along with the purchase; probably Hunter. Hammer sounds interesting, but I already have m2 Firebird, so I don't know if it is a good choice. Therefore, Thunder may go before Hammer; I do not have a long range turret at the moment. From what you say, Hunter/Hammer and Hornet/Hammer aren't the best combos, but if I do get it, those combos would be what I am using. Again, nice guide. :)

I think you can do it, as long as you get decent amounts of xp per battle. Give it a try; if you don't make it then you will still be at a much higher rank than before.

Could I ask everyone (that can answer) if Hammer m2 is still doing well at the Brigadier, and various General ranks (all the star ranks), and the same question for Thunder m2? Thunder sounds better because of the added range; I already have Firebird for short. However, if Hammer is really superior, I could allow for it instead. After all, it is still semi-ranged. Still, I may as well just use Hornet only (not buy Hunter), and forget about attacks on heavily guarded bases. I really need help on this (I have got heaps of it, but all advice varies). I will buy either of these turrets during Christmas.

I already have m2 Hornet, along with 106k (soon to me more, plus the rank-up 12k). I think that Hunter will be the best choice if I was to buy another hull (only 30hp difference). Whether I do that all depends on whether I have enough crystals, I think. Thunder m2 costs 55k, so I will have over 50k left, plus the stuff I haven't earned yet. I should be able to buy a hull. Now I seem to have another question- should I buy any paints at my rank? I have Jaguar, In Love (only because of the 70% sale) and the single protection paints. I believe I should wait until I rank a few more times, as nothing is great at my rank. Thanks for responding :).

On the subject of hulls, I have received advice that I should just stay with Hornet m2 only, that I should buy m2 Hunter and that I should buy m2 Dictator. Pros/Cons: I reckon that Hunter is a better choice than Dictator; it is heaps faster and only compromises with 30hp. However, I would still like everyone's opinions on what I should do. Just doing some rough calculations. I am pretty sure that this is damage per second: These are just a few turrets; one of them I may buy during the sales. As I am thinking of buying Thunder, now I have evidence that its DPS is higher than Smoky (at max damage for both turrets), Railgun and Hammer. On the other hand, this is probably irrelevant, as a high damage gun can cause a lot of damage with one shot before dying, compared to the cumulative damage turrets (Firebird, etc.), which may affect the attacker a little bit before dying instead of a lot. Everything depends on the situation. I thought this may be interesting, and it does show how great Twins is. PS: I forgot about the critical hit chance for Smoky. Lets just pretend that every time, the Smoky dies before it can use a critical hit.

I am not at your rank, so my opinion may not be best. Looking at your profile, you have plenty of turrets. Twins, Railgun, Smoky and Thunder alone should cover you. With paints, if you want Hammer/Smoky protection then I think that Tiger is good; Railgun —15% Smoky —30% Hammer —40% Otherwise, Nano seems good, but you need to rank to get it. Other options are Raccoon and Needle (Raccoon 30% against Hammer, and Needle 48% against Smoky), although they have one of the specified protections only, plus others. I hope this helps, Bluebird13.

Yeah, I was just looking at the product kit lists. I don't think that I will buy that one, because I have received both positive and negative feedback about Thunder. I'll probably just wait until Christmas, then buy it, or other things, at 50% off (hopefully). Plus, it still costs 180 504 crystals, not 166k, so I may as well just get the m3 if I get a kit.

The bulldozer kit costs 243k, but has great-ish equipment. I only have 105.3k now, so I cannot afford it any time soon. EDIT: Does "243 840 at 40% off" mean that it costs 243.8k, or 97.5k? EDIT x2: It costs 244k... PS: I do not buy crystals, so I won't be getting this. Thanks for suggesting the option, though.

What is the cost, and what hull... I'll find out. PS I will probably still get m2, because it is cheaper, and sooner.
