It's not necessarily better, since it's slower than M3 Hornet. I would personally prefer it, judging from my experiences on the test server.

Did you cry because it was so good, or did you cry because you were getting wrecked by Smoky users? I thought Smoky was weak when I was using M0 Smoky. Then I got M1 Smoky after getting beaten by others with M1 Smoky. To this day I still regard M1 Smoky as my best purchase; it was that good. I'm wondering if I should beef up my M1 Smoky's stats. I'm not using it that much since it's getting a bit obsolete, but I know that fully MUed M1 Smokies are terrifying, so I'm not sure.

It's a possibility, considering that you called Medic a less than formal term for the end of the human digestive tract. I think I'm getting M2 Hunter when I rank to Captain. In some maps, M2 Hornet is a bit too weak (think Noise), and M2 Dictator wouldn't be good for capturing flags for obvious reasons.
-
It can attack, midfield, defend, and go for flags equally well. If you need to switch from midfielding to going after someone with your flag, you can do so really quickly. If you need to switch from defending picking up a flag that your teammate dropped, you can also do that really quickly. No other hull is as versatile.

M0 Hunter isn't very impressive, but all other modifications of Hunter are excellent. I would much prefer M3 Hunter over M3 Hornet.

First page! EDIT: Parkour format? That would be excellent! Disabled damage could really help parkourists.

It's actually pretty hard to aim in first person while your weapon is projecting a glowing laser sight and everybody is trying to kill/avoid you. I often do better with Railgun than Shaft on maps like Rio.

I bought a kit with M1 Dictator and M1 Railgun when I was a WO3, and I was not disappointed. M1 Dictator is excellent (health of M1 Titan, speed of M0 Viking), as is M1 Railgun. I think it would be a good idea to get the kit, but you might want to wait for a bit in case a sale comes.
-
You don't need to MU it all the way. If you MU the health halfway, you'll have roughly as much as a M3 Viking.

You can micro-upgrade a M2 Dictator's stats to 278.2 health and 7.53 speed. That's enough to give M3 Vikings a run for their money.

If you want to implement an idea, post it in the Ideas and Suggestions topic. The devs will probably ignore your post if you post it here, since it's not related to the topic at hand.

Goodbye, Gold! GL with everything in life. Remember to check back once in a while.

If I'm getting rammed, I plant a mine and back away slowly. Very few people have not fallen for it, although I do recall a time when I was going head-to-head with a M2 Thunder; both of us planted a mine, figured out what the other person was doing, and backed away.

It's still quite hard to hit targets at long range with M4 Ricochet, so it's still limited to close-medium range.
-
Doesn't make it any less good. :P As a Shafter, I find that if the enemy team is starting to get angry at me, I'm doing my job correctly. If someone insults me, I respond with a "you're welcome" and leave it at that.

I think "Spitfire" makes sense for a gatling gun. A "spit" is a rotating stick used for cooking; the important part here is the rotation. Gatling guns have rotating barrels. The "fire" part, well, could refer to the high volumes of bullets you'd be putting on your opponents, or possibly setting yourself on fire with the overheating.

In my experience, that's only a problem if you're unstable when you're firing. That happens if you get hit by a weapon with significant recoil in mid-shot or you're just firing in precarious positions. Those two are avoidable (at least the second one), so Wasp-Rail is certainly useable, just hard to get used to.

My full review: Pros Excellent DPS. Makes short work of light hulls at close range. It can also deal with medium hulls in a pinch. Heavy hulls are a different story.Cons No way to reload the weapon without emptying the clip. During this time, your pants are down. Since you need to get close to your opponents in order to use it, you'll have to frantically run away and hope you don't get gunned down by an angry target. Really short effective range. I almost feel as if Firebird has more range than Hammer. If you don't get to point blank range, it's pretty useless. If somebody uses a health kit after you pump 1-2 rounds into them, you're screwed, since you won't have enough ammunition to damage them all over again. Since you're at close range, again, you need to frantically run away and hope you don't die. I suspect Hammer won't be very useful in drug wars because of this reason. For whatever reason, I'm not noticing the impact force. The recoil is there, sure, but I didn't notice much, if any impact on enemies that I'm hitting, even at close range. My suggestions: Make reloading start if you don't fire the weapon for 10 seconds. Make the impact force more noticeable. I'm not really seeing it. It may just be me, though.

It's hard for even a Wasp to outrun a skilled M2 Ricochet user. I've tried.

Hunter vs. Viking is a matter of opinion. There is no right or wrong, just personal preference. -
Guide [Issue 29] The Ultimate Guide to Smoky

Smoky-Wasp is still a very solid combo at M1, M2, and M3, so it's effective for high rank players as well, provided you purchase the higher modifications, of course. My rank isn't considered to be very high, actually. I'm somewhere around the middle of the rank list. Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I'll take it into consideration when I write my next guide. -
M2 Ricochet doesn't look like a big improvement from M1 Ricochet in stats, but it's a LOT more powerful than you think in gameplay, to the point where M2 Rico annoys me about as much as M2 Smoky.

Hornet has 210 max MU health, not 240. At M4, hulls are all balanced, since the difference in their speed and health is based on 1 MPH = 30 health. A M4 Wasp has 180 health. A M4 Hornet has 180 + 30 (since it's 1 MPH slower) = 210 health.

I'll likely get Prodigi when I get to Marshall. Is it overused? Sure. Is it good? You bet. I like the massive amounts of Thunder, Railgun, and Shaft protections you get when you fully MU it. Until then, I'll use (soon-to-be-acquired) Sandstone, which is basically a weaker Prodigi if you think about it. With some MUs in the Thunder, Railgun, and Shaft protections, it'll remain useful up until I get Prodigi.
