It's competent at M1 (at least in my experience) and M3 as well My M1 Smoky (which currently just has a few MUs) can deal with M2s very well (~2.0 D/L ratios with it and M2 Hornet). Don't get me started on M3 Smoky, that thing is simply epic.

Same here. It's an interesting concept, so I'm interested in trying it out; if I like it (and if it's unlocked at/before 1st Lieutenant), it might be on my shopping list.

My final Christmas shopping list: M2 Dictator, with a lot of MUs put on the health and a few on the speed. M2 Ricochet, with some MUs in damage and reload. Sandstone, with MUs in Thunder and Shaft protection. M2 Railgun, no MUs for this one. Fully MUing my M1 Smoky's critical damage and impact force parameters, considering how the next autoaim magnifies the effects of recoil. That, and I repeat: fully MUed M1 Smokies are weapons of mass destruction. Maybe another M2. Could be Freeze or the machine gun, if it happens to unlock @ or before 1st Lieutenant.

I said "close", not equal to. A M1 Smoky can have a maximum of 81.8 critical damage and 285 impact force, which is enough to deal with most enemies. It's not as good as M2 Smoky, but hey, for an M1 unlocked at First Sergeant, that's really good. ....well...

Only testers can access the test server at the moment. You're not a tester, so you'll have to wait until they open them for Open Testing.

This is how powerful M1 Smoky can be when minimally upgraded: http://i.imgur.com/BszWL9h.jpg I was fighting against mostly M2 Hornets, a few M1 Hornets, one M1 Viking, and one M2 Hunter. They were all easy prey for my Smoky, especially since I've upgraded the impact force a few steps. I'm going to start MUing the critical damage and impact force further when MUs are discounted; with those two parameters maxed out, my Smoky will be pretty close to a M2 Smoky in power.

(I think the photo is small enough that I don't have to spoiler it. Let me know if I have to). I'm not getting the turret just yet, but I'll observe how well players do with it in battles. If I take a liking to it, I might get it at New Year's/Christmas.

I might get it if a sale comes. I don't feel like shelling out at least 37K for a turret that I didn't like an awful lot on the test server. Can't wait for the machine gun to be worked on.

Mammoths aren't that rare. I see M2 Mammoths relatively often in higher rank battles. They certainly aren't underrated.

I haven't noticed any difference. In fact, I saw three gold boxes today, which is a lot more than I see usually.

Underrated hulls (no particular order): Wasp- M2 Wasps are very rare. Hunter- M1 and M2 Hunters are rare. Dictator-M1 Dictators are rare, M2 Dictators are somewhat rare. Titan- I've seen VERY few M2 Titans.

What do you guys think of M2 Freeze? Is it worth the crystals?

Only about 12.5K XP left before I rank to 1st Lieutenant. This means I can definitely have a rank up party sometime. M2 Dictator, here I come!

What parameters would you recommend upgrading? Normal damage doesn't seem to be that important, but critical damage and impact force are definitely what makes full MU M1 Smokies powerful, it seems.
