Why was "Premium Accounts" left out of the Wiki? Test drives and personal discounts were left out as well. Since it seems to be an important idea why leave it out? See, things like this are what cause miscommunication. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In response to people talking about missions your chance overall of getting a repair kit is 6% of all rewards - speed boost is around 42%. At the level of Field Marshal you can expect about 50,000 crystals or so in earnings simply by doing the missions each month - I would call that a great deal compared to the small amount we might have gotten through the Daily Gifts.

Chinese Tanki also requires a Chinese ID number to register. Lucky I have one so I could register. :P

Episode 64 of the V-LOG is here

Question: if the VLOG is about Isida why is there not an Isida in the static image of the VLOG?

"Please note that BR Tanki exists as a separate game with its own database on different servers. Unfortunately, you cannot enter it with your existing account and will need to make a new one."

    Let's Discuss Isida!

    Isida: the #1 turret for non-supply, non-drug battles: :D

I thought that was part of the game - flipping and pushing your team mates off ramps and buildings when you aren't blocking them from returning the enemy flag! Thank goodness for VLOGs to clear up the confusion.

The two most useful supplies for Isida are DD and SB - I knew that DD allowed you to damage/heal other tanks quickly but I had not noticed that it also double self-healing as well. SB is helpful for getting around quickly to heal others - good ways to increase your XP earnings (Isida with DD and a double score card is an amazing way to earn XP).

If a majority agrees where is the proof? I didn't see any polls or really any proof based on what I was reading. Why not post a poll and prove it to all? If you believe a majority supported it then you should not be scared to prove it by making a poll. Also a "Like" doesn't really mean anything. Did a person really like it a lot? Like it slightly more than dislike it? If a dislike is meaningless without a reason to back it up why is a "Like" just accepted without a reason to back it up? The prior V-LOG had some things good and some things bad about it - rating it would be better. I gave it a "Like" because the good outweighed the bad, but, I certainly would not have given it a 5 - more like a 3. A rating has nothing to do with it being a contest - it's just a better way to gauge overall feelings.

I answered your question on page 26 - the Chinese servers require a Chinese National ID number to register. Mine does not work on the Brazilian servers either (I am from USA).

Here we go: The Chinese registration: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=246957&page=116&do=findComment&comment=4988699 Then follows my experience playing Chinese Tanki: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=246957&page=117&do=findComment&comment=4989131 (The lack of players and the worst lag I have ever seen in my life). I would like to mention that my current nickname doesn't work on the Chinese server and my Chinese nickname doesn't work on any other servers.

I had pointed this out in another thread - the Chinese servers require a Chinese national ID number in order to sign up. I was able to sign up successfully, however, there is practically nobody playing Chinese Tanki - at one time there were fewer than 200 players online at a time when it was daytime in China. Also most people on the Chinese servers use numbers for their nicknames - it isn't very common to see a Chinese player with a typical screen name. I can't speak for the Brazillian server but I would guess it's similar - requiring a Brazillian ID to play - similar to how Chinas's government regulates the internet in China (hence, requiring a real ID in order to play Tanki in China).

Clever. I didn't actually think about it being a way to make someone spend more crystals to upgrade another set of turrets or hulls. I just assumed it would have the same modifications that would exist on the same turret or hull if it was already in the garage.

Another alternative to removing the dislike button would have been to implement a "star" rating - 1 to 5 stars. Then each post would have a rating between 0 (no responses) to 5 (excellent) based on overall votes. Theoretically this removes the "negative" values so a post would never have the possibility of dropping below 0. A "like" really doesn't tell much without discussing "why."

I think sometimes we all forget that there are real people in this world behind the tank, behind the post, or behind the avatar. Lack of clear communication leads to misunderstandings - whether in the real world or the online world. I think it would be very helpful for there to be better communication between everyone here and for everyone to consider that we aren't all just pixels on the screen but real people as well.

Basically since Gismos have nothing to buy for the most part they would just become crystal miners due to their equipment and then just transfer their winnings to other people - alt accounts, friends, etc. Essentially crystals would have no value - just as they really have no value to Gismos after a certain point. Nobody would need to buy crystals ever again because all the Gismos would just sell them on the black market - bypassing Tanki's payment scheme altogether. A Gismo could offer 400,000 crystals for $25 through PayPal and undercut Tanki - essentially making playing a source of income while preventing Tanki from earning income. This is why refunds and transfers aren't allowed.

Will there be any possibility for players to design maps for Unity Tanki? Perhaps this could be a Premium-only feature if it's plausible.

If I had to guess at this point based on what I am reading in this thread it would seem probable that our ranks could be transferred but it's highly unlikely we're going to see a 1:1 transfer of assets.

I suppose that makes sense. A person would have to earn about 200,000 crystals on high fund days to equal what a discount might cost.

    Myths and rumours answered

If giving discounts hurts the economy doesn't handing out 4 billion crystals (high battle funds and up to 5x Gold Boxes) at the end of Star Ladder do the same thing?
  24. creeperskelly

That's why we have personal discounts and test drives now - it means sales will be less frequent with lower discounts.
