Most microupgrades beyond the first 3 or 4 are a total waste of crystals.

I can't imagine anyone using an alt and playing poorly intentionally. :rolleyes:

Scores are higher when several tanks converge to kill one tank. In a case like that 15XP is shared instead of 10XP. Also keep in mind that Isidas get bonus XP for healing. Polygon CP has insane battle funds because of one control point - this leads to hundreds and hundreds of tanks being destroyed in a 30 or 60 minute round - this makes the battle fund high because of the small map and ease of killing.

The problem with alts is that when you play against people who are new to this you likely are turning new players away. I think back to my early days and some of the drug raids I saw at low ranks and now I suspect those people were just higher ranking players using alt accounts. I almost gave up because of that, but, I rarely ever give up until I reach a goal. Sadly, I wonder how many others thought the game was too hard and never returned. It's a double edged sword - you wan to try out a new career, but, because of the skills you already have it's very easy to fight the new players.

Well, I just ranked up tonight - I wonder if there will be any "presents" in the next few days to try to take back my ranking bonus?

They merged three threads into one, then, moved that one into another forum. Then they moved that one back into the "Game Discussion" forum and then someone closed it and said to post comments here. The point of having the separate thread in the "Game Discussion" forum is because ALL news threads get moved and locked after a week. I'm going to rank tomorrow night and the one item I want the most out of all the possible upgrades is Firebird M3. I secretly am hoping that's the discount I get the first time one appears for me. :D

It only happens when spawning for me. Usually when I get killed I hit ESC quickly but sometimes it just isn't possible to do this all the time. It happens regardless of browser and makes no difference if I use the standalone Flash player.

I believe what it means if that if your personal discount is 20% the full price of M3 then a 50% off sale will result in a 10% discount because the price is halved first.

Perhaps, but , they thought they fixed the "brown screen" bug and it simply was not fixed as they thought. We would not even know they attempted to fix it had a mod in the Problems/Solutions forum not made a sticky. If something's been "fixed" a changelog would be nice so we can test it to see if the problem was really fixed. There are numerous serious bugs in the game and most of the time we never get any notification of something being fixed.

Possibly, but, there was one a few days ago and no mention what it was for or what it did.

It would be nice to know what was fixed/updated so we have an idea to really see if the bugs were fixed.

I'm not spending almost 1,000,000 crystals just to get 10% more power or 10% more protection. Microupgrades are a complete waste of money and the biggest scam in the entire game.

Why would I waste money on MU? MU costs more than the next tier upgrade. Double the cost in almost all cases if you fully MU. It's a complete waste of money - the only time it makes sense would be if you already have M3 and have about 900,000 to blow. I have only upgraded two items in my career - I upgraded some of Isida M2 and some of Firebird M2. I MU'ed the first 25% on damage and afterburn on Firebird - nothing else. With Isida I upgraded some of the damage and some of the self-healing. I have never bought anything at full price - I bought most of what I had around last Christmas during the sales.

What exactly is your definition of "extreme buyer?" Practically everything I own is M2, I still don't own Vulcan or Titan; Smoky is M1, Wasp is M0, Shaft is M0. I have a total of 4 paints: Jaguar, Prodigy, Raccoon, and Graffiti. In terms of garage at my rank it's fairly weak - a buyer would have everything available at rank and everything at the highest level possible.

You don't have to drug at all to do well with Isida - this is in a round with no supplies and no drugs at all. In fact I even grabbed the gold box in the same round as well - an impressive feat considering that Isida has no way to push itself on top of the pile due to having no firepower to help get up on top:
