I believe Tani_S was referring to VLOG Episode 139, which explicitly addresses energy-gauge turrets like Isida and Freeze getting unlimited ammo and increased range with Viking's Overdrive (or Overdrive #3 in the episode). https://youtu.be/tUMpk6lSDPA?t=3m48s

While I myself remain wary of random chance, I'd prefer containers' rarities to look something like this: 70.00% chance of getting a Common 25.00% chance of getting an Uncommon 03.99% ... Rare 01.00% ... Epic 00.01% ... Legendary But that's just my numbers. Anyways, to compensate for the reduced Weekly Rewards and to make it easy for players to get into doing Missions, make it so that container paints can only be obtained starting at Week Chain 3. Moreover, assuming that players will get 2 or more containers starting at Week Chain 3, it'd be nice that players are guaranteed NOT to receive more than one paint from mission containers. To illustrate, assuming that completing Week Chain 3 nets you 2 containers, 1 of those 2 containers is guaranteed to give you anything BUT paints. Likewise, assuming that completing Week Chain 4+ nets you 3 containers, 2 of those 3 containers is guaranteed to give you anything BUT paints. Alas, these are just my thoughts. Do what you will with them.

This confirms my suspicions that Tanki is on its way towards an MMO-based casino! I see. Well, I've said what I needed to say for the mean time. Will update if I find a new concern.
-
At the end of the day, this is all a ploy by the Tanki dev's for us to embrace containers and random chance as a coping mechanism for the reduced weekly rewards. At least for me, the fact that the dev's want to psychologically toy with our desires for cool in-game rewards does not inspire much confidence in them. Next thing you know, in the worst case scenario, while we're all in the thrall of these containers, Tanki's gonna milk the life out of these containers, profiting from addicts who pour their money out to try their luck with loot boxes. By then, Tanki will have become an MMO-themed Casino!!! Also, Nives, can you clarify for us: Based on the container rarities described on the Tanki Wiki's Container page, what types of containers are we getting from the Weekly Rewards? Will they all be Common? Will they be Common or Uncommon? Or will they be of ANY rarity?
-
While it's nice that the Tanki team cooked up a nice little bonus for mission players, I wish to propose this solution to the devaluing of paints thanks to the dawn of the container: Give paints bought from the Garage and Shop special visual markers or something that distinguishes them from container-rewarded ones. I think those folks who bought the one-time Shop paints such as Flow and Spectrum deserve some recognition for the trust they put in you devs.

After consecutively failing at Gold Boxes in the New Years' Map, I decided to throw the towel and play some more CP mode for my missions. Alongside my success in CP with Freeze and Viking, I was fortunate to catch a good ol' gold box in the flat landscape of Desert:
-
I basically got supplies and 5 gold boxes (the stuff I liked the most) from my five Frosty Weekend containers.
-
I mean, you do have a point. Free supplies are always valuable, but for me, I always have a mine surplus by the time I receive new mines from my Weekly Mission Chain rewards. I should also mention that I have over 2000 (!!!) Speed Boost pieces. As such, if I were to open a container that had 125 Speed Boost pieces, I'd be feeling really grouchy. On the plus side, at least I have some extra mines to spare for booby-trapping passages, tunnels, and more.
-
Since I hit 800+ kills, I received 5 containers, and their contents were rather lukewarm: 1) 5 gold boxes 2) 125 Double Armor pieces 3) 125 Double Damage pieces 4) 125 mines 5) another 125 mines. Personally, since I already have 1000+ mines in stock, the additional mines were a letdown.
-
Finally, I hit 800+ kills for once. Definitely wouldn't have done it without my dogged M3 Smoky-Viking combo.
-
I guess its my turn to present my holiday missions. Evidently, my Collect Repair Kit boxes mission has the lowest amount of rewards. I also had visited the New Year map. It was gorgeous, and I wanted to cruise and relax in that map, but it's a DM fest, and we all know how chaotic that can be.

Relaaax, man. There will be sales throughout the Christmas season, particularly these ones:

This breakdown of Tanki strategies is lit! I especially like your succinctness. Keep it up, Velius!

After playing some more of ASL mode, I have found that ASL mode favors Red team more than Blue team. If you're interested in a seven-sentence-long tangent, you can see the below spoiler and enjoy. If not, the tl;dr version is that the tough defense mentality in ASL Blue mode will take more time getting used to than the familiar capture-the-flag mentality seen in ASL Red mode.
-
Then again, the idea could theoretically work in Blue's favor. If some Blue tanks successfully keep guarding loose flags, Red will not be able to score for at least 30 seconds, putting more pressure on Red while securing Blue's lead (which is especially crucial in the last minute of the battle). Still, this favorable scenario will only work IF Blue can successfully guard...otherwise, it's just another plus for a well-coordinated Red team
-
While ASL mode is unbalanced for some maps, I don't think a longer return time would help with balance, especially for maps that are already dominated by Red. Since there isn't much distance between the cap point and the flag in some maps, a longer return time would just help a well-coordinated Red team pick up the dropped flag, barge into the cap point, and end the battle quicker. While this idea would certainly appeal to those who love blitzkrieg gameplay, I doubt anyone would want to play Blue on ASL anymore if their defensive efforts are made even more difficult and futile.

I would recommend playing Tanki Online's official client, which you can get on the official homepage. You won't find any ads on the client version. Also, I'd want to ask you: what browser are you using? What type of computer and operating system are you on? Have you installed any extra applications on your computer (i.e. Audacity, VLC Media Player, etc.)? -

That...doesn't sound normal. I mean 500+ ads!? Sounds like your computer's got adware or something. -
Medium and Hard CTF are just 2 types of battle formats played throughout the Clan Championship X series. You can find the traits of Medium and Hard formats in the spoiler below: This is all taken from the Clan Championship X rules page: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=364290

Pretty much, although I don't think we're getting the rewards exactly 72 hours after synergy's victory. I'd think the rewards are coming no more than 72 hours from now. In short, just be patient.

Congratz Synergy!

During the glitchy gold rains, however, I did catch 70+ black golds Before Tanki Put a stop to that. I received 100k+ crystals in total, a good measure of supplies, 40 gold box supplies, and some paints (Barber Shop, Drought, Spectrum, Mars, Mary, etc.). Of course, Tanki removed those rewards, and that was the end of my container rewards.
-
I would have loved to share, but I've stopped caring about catching black golds. I don't consistently catch golds, and when I do, they are always ordinary gold boxes. And, knowing my luck, there's no way I can catch a black gold before the event ends.
-
Uh no thanks. We all know how distracting regular golds are already. Replacing regular golds with random loot black boxes (yes, I do mean random loot) would just be an even worse distraction in-battle.
