I'd love to hear you elaborate on this. To be completely honest with you, I don't feel as if I'm fighting a hard battle myself. Am I unaware of it?

Nice article Chrysalis! I have two critiques for you: 1. The introduction bit of your article is entirely humor, and the rest is entirely serious and technical. I think it would be best to weave the two together, and create an article which is both intriguing and amusing throughout its entire length. Also, I'm not really a fan of the decision to start out with full-on humor ("Rio was founded about thirty minutes ago"). The best forms of humor, at least in my opinion, and subtle and sneaky ;) 2. I don't like the idea of ranking the best turrets and hulls. Being told what to play with is no fun, nor is it effective; part of the beauty of Tanki is experimentation and developing your own playing styles. As for my reactions to the content of the article, I agree with all of your CP tips, but I believe your red flag capture route isn't the best one. Instead of taking the second right, I'd take the first right and pass by the center DA zone so that you're under the buildings for more time while getting out of the enemy base, which is better since it provides far more cover. This route is a little longer, but the extra time is spent in your own base where you're relatively safe. Let me know what you think about my 2 critiques... I'd be interested to hear your responses!

Great news... I'll go read up!

Hm, very interesting thread! You've got a good point -- fascism is a type of government, namely "an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of governmental and societal organization" (definition from Google). However, fascism has developed a connotation of intolerance, racism and ruthlessness since it's been used alongside those principles historically (in 20th century Germany and Russia). So Tanki is trying to say don't be intolerant/racist, but I agree that they shouldn't put fascist in this section of the rules since nothing is inherently wrong with fascism. In a similar way, nothing at all is inherently wrong with communism; in fact, it's a very intriguing alternative form of government that solves a lot of huge flaws of capitalism. It just has a negative connotation because of the repressive way it's been used in China and Russia. Not a very major flaw with the game rules, but interesting nonetheless!

^ this. You folks don't really need a logo. Anyway, I should start getting homeschooled just so I can join this group :D All seriousness aside, what kind of tests/curriculum do you have to follow when you're homsechooled? I'm sure the government doesn't just let you do whatever you want otherwise it would be used for truancy... but what exactly do they make you do?

Heh, I was just thinking of that earlier today! That might be a handy feature, though there is already a thread with an up-to-date spreadsheet of name changes, which for some reason I can't seem to find right now. :l

In a V-LOG a few months ago, Semyon said that when this garage updates comes out, paints will be in order of most protection to least so that you can access your best paints easier. What happened to that

This is correct. Due to Chinese legislation 3DTank is kept entirely separate from the European version of the game. Pretty bizarre legislation if you ask me, but that's none of Tanki's business.

Nice update! Down to the buzzer CP matches are a lot of fun and this will make them more common. The garage categorizing is also a nice addition. I still wish we could switch between XP and BP in XP/BP battles, but that's a pretty minor thing. Kudos to the devs for continuing work on TO even with the huge Unity project looming over their heads!

Your friend is dead. I am an anti-horse.

Ok here goes! Let's see how close I can get without backspace... KMqaqqqaqnjnrrd00o;;l9ijjjjjjjмаздффржцц Hahaha I accidentally switched to Russian keyboard partway through and couldn't get back

I would program you to kill yourself. Mwahaha! HWYKM if I was a dead doorknob, with no hope of ever being resuscitated?

I would advise you to keep any valuable objects away from your computer so that you don't smash them in a fit of rage over a mult! All seriousness aside, it's pretty easy to report saboteurs and have them punished. Just record a video between 5 and 20 minutes long and send it in to the Game Violator's section. Make sure you press TAB at least once during the video, and that the violation is clear.

This problem is caused by hardware acceleration being disabled or out of date. First, try enabling it. If that doesn't work, you'll need to update your Flash Player. Let me know if this fixes the problem!

If you're having trouble changing your password via the Miniclip link, you can easily convert this link into a link to the TO website, which will probably solve your issue. Instructions on how to do this are here (thanks @Shaloo7 for the guide)

That's a fair concern, but it's not all that unsafe to post a public picture on the internet, especially when there is no name linked to that picture, which is the case in most of them. Internet safety is important, but the recent wave of people saying you shouldn't post any personal information or photos at all online is a bit ridiculous. I'm not blaming you of this, I'm just saying I don't think posting your real picture online is nearly as unsafe as many people make it out to be. That being said, you've got a good point -- I'm sure there are many people who would feel more comfortable posting their photo if it wouldn't be visible to the entire internet. Many TO Forum pages are already only available to logged-in members, like member profiles, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to do the same with this page.

If we're on the topic of books, I'm currently reading Godel Escher Bach which I'd suggest if you're up for a brain-twisting, mathematically complex, non-fiction read. It's quite hard to describe what the book is about -- in fact, there's so much discussion about what the book is about that the current version of it comes with a twenty-something page prelogue with the author's take on what his book his about. The way I see it, each chapter represents a broad concept which is gradually exemplified in math, music and art. Throughout the book, the themes of the chapters intertwine. If this sounds at all interesting give the first chapter or two a read and tell me what you think!

No it isn't correct, you're welcome.

It's funny how some people think buyers spoil the game for everyone, when in reality non-buyers are pretty much leeching off Tanki. It's not a free game.

Whoa... those are incredible! I like to doodle a lot but it's typically more abstract stuff... your command of shading, angle, etc. is really stunning and your pictures have a really playful feel to them. This one has gotta be my favorite:

I read the Odyssey and I just couldn't manage to enjoy it... to me it seemed like a huge fairy tale with a not-so-captivating plot. Could you elaborate on what you enjoyed about it? It just is confusing to me that it's such a highly regarded book and I'd like to figure out why people love it. Oh and I'm not homeschooled... sorry for the intrusion
