There are plenty of small companies that compete with big corporations because they have a quality product and then they become big corporations themselves or they become part of a bif corporation. In TO's case, the small company mentality along with the soviet style customer care (TO knows better what users want than the users themselves,never mind the fact that the users express their displeasure in droves) is ruining the game. I am amazed with your ignorance regarding "optimization" which is writing efficient code and fixing the glaring errors! It does not matter whether you are a small or large company you should be able to produce good code and fix the errors. Besides the flash version was for ? computers but the HTML is taxing those computers to the max. Heck I have an HP with Xeon processor and a dedicated NVIDIA card and the HTML client is running my CPU at 49%! The flash client barely uses 20%! Advertising has nothing to do with player satisfaction. I remember the good old days where there were 50,000 players on TO at the same time and during holidays that number was as high as 75,000. Now it barely hits 20,000. Have you ever thought why so many have left TO? I would explain it to you but then again there is a good chance you will not understand it!

Ummm, do you really think that the incompetent Tanki developers know the meaning of the word "OPTIMIZE"? they can barely write code that is somewhat error free! I have been playing WoT and War of Warships for quite some time and I have yet to encounter any error! Even they have solved the lag problem. But then again that is the difference between a professionally run gaming organization and an organization that seems to be run out of someones garage by some people with the old Soviet mentality "the state knows what you want better than you do!"

My favorite is the Mission Name: Remote Goal: Destroy 5000 tanks in any matchmaking battles using long range turrets (Shaft, Gauss, Magnum, Railgun) Reward: 1000 Mines I am looking forward to completing this one because the 22,000 mines I have are not enough to last a lifetime and a half! I need to have 23,000 to last me 2 lifetimes! Can someone explain to me what 5 year old came up with this one? Also, drop 100 gold boxes? You guys must be nuts!

You are 1000% correct! However, the word "reasonable" is unknown to Tanki decision makers! Like when they tried to force on us the MM system when it was not ready and then they had to backtrack until they fixed some major issues! even now MM is crappy because this is the only game I know that places such a wide range of ranks in to battle and 95% of the time is not evenly matched.(I guess someone in Tanki thought that we would enjoy getting killed with one shot from someone 5 ranks higher than us and fully maxed upgrades! It is the only MM game, as far as I know, that dumps you in to a battle that ends within mere seconds after you join! Did I mention also the lag and the some of the not so though out changes in OD especially the Titan one where if you do not have full health, you get killed despite the protection! Let's face it, Tanki not only has incompetent decision makers, but it also has incompetent programmers who cannot get anything right! The new HTML5 is really unplayable by gaming standards: from the washed out color selection, to the way the tank controls behave. Anyone with the basic knowledge of computers would know that support from Adobe has nothing to do with the loss of the data from the Flash version. Data do not just vanish to the data heaven because you do not have support by Adobe unless of course someone forgot to program correctly the capture of the data and perhaps forgot to turn the logs on. Also, there is a reason why backups were invented and especially real time and snapshot backups! But then again, we should not expect such features on a system that looks like it is run out of someone's garage.

Do other games, have a tank or weapon that is controlled by more than one person? At least I know that WoT does not! I just want to see you trying to communicate with a player who does not know your language and you do not know his language. Perhaps you have access to the Universal Language Translator from Star Trek!?

I have this switch already on even before you guys went to HTML5. It does not make a difference. I am just using the HTML client like I am using the Flash client because it worked much better than the browser version. I am just hoping that they will make the setting to be the same as in the Flash version. For example: the HTML version does not give you an option to add additional keyboard keys for supplies and OD. The OD defaults to Left Shift and the supplies default to the numbers and not to the numeric keypad so I have to change it manually. We cannot have them set to both like in the Flash version. It maybe a nuance , but I was wondering why it was not made the same.

Yeah, right! and what do you do when I cannot load HTML5 version on any major browser? (yeah I found an obscure chromium based browser that after a while manages to load the game but that is not a solution. You suggest to use the Flash client but let's not forget that the "special" missions are available only through HTML5! So we get the short end of the stick again. I would say it would have been prudent to allow the special missions on Flash as it seems that neither the HTML client nor the HTML browser version is ready for prime time yet. But then again Tanki is not known for its prudence, is it? By the way, before you tell me it is my equipment, I am on a HP Z-series workstation with dual XEON processors 16 GB RAM and a discrete NVIDIA GPU. My internet connection is a steady 200 Mbps on a wired GB Ethernet connection. Even on that i see that the HTML client is using around 40%-60% of the CPU power but it is not even putting any strain on the GPU.

I gave up playing Tanki in Flash and HTML5 using a browser. It just doesn't work (Chrome, Firefox). I use the Flash client and I get every 3 games I finish an error "tankionline. exe has stopped responding" and have to reenter the game. Of course then I lose my place in the battle and it is a mess. When I use the HTML5 client, the past few days I have been starting to get a Blank Grey screen either when the game is over or when I come back from the garage after having changed equipment during the battle! This game is getting worse by the minute. I also noticed that HTML5 client is very heavy on resources using 70% of the processor and frames always drop to 30 FPS when I first enter the game, which means that I am a sitting duck! Then by some miracle the frames increase to over 60 FPS! Did I mention that the lag is still an issue? But hey, who cares? Let's have another sale!

Ah, OK! Take the death, go back and spawn in your base, try to go to get the flag, get hit, by the time you get to your destination have low HP, then take the death, repeat. I can see that this is using it wisely! In all of your wisdom, can you explain the rational of taking away the dome's ability to heal, if not your teammates, at least your tank?

It does not give me any protection against Mammoth OD or another Titan turn it off or a Hunter turning it off. Worse yet, that 90% protection does nothing if you have low HP when you turning it on and then comes a fire or freeze or smokey Viking with OD and kill you right inside the dome. I personally think it just became the worst of all ODs.

Is there any reason why the HTML5 game is not loading under any browser? It is getting stuck in the LOADING screen.

HMMM. Excuse me, but only a dumb person would NOT clear the cache upon exit. Yes, it is a good security measure and Tanki needs to save those setting in the profile rather than locally in the browser cache. I take it that the same thing is happening in the HTML version where a very "smart" developer thought that it is a great idea to have the default level on the stupid music set to full blast! Those developers don't think much, do they? By the way, I use the Flash client and the same thing happens to the settings. i am also forced to clear the cache on the client often because i get the very descriptive message "an error has occurred"! Like I said, settings should be permanent in the database so no matter what you use to play the game you get the same setting. Is that too much to ask?

Oh yeah, I get that almost every 3rd battle I play! They will never fix this because either they have no clue how to write routines to trap errors, or they know what the problem is but have no clue on how to fix it. I have been trying the new HTML5 and there i get often a "system error" which seems to be triggered at the end of the battle. Also, I do not know if anyone else has a problem with the settings reverting to default after login out. It is especially annoying that the music is set to full volume by default. I have changed many times but it always is set to full blast. Same goes for the Gold Drop that I set it to Num9 instead of Num6 and it does not stay either after login out and back in again.

Well, you have been around long enough to know that Tanki has the old Soviet Union mentality that the state knows what you need or want better than you and you have no saying in that! Not the first time that this happens from a bunch of people who do not have any concept of accepting feedback and constructive criticism from their customers because they know it all!

Soon we will not be able to get anything for crystals. It will be either real money (for the fools willing to part with it) or tankoins (which will cost real money to buy) You definitely cannot get anything with the measly amount of tankoins we get form missions! But hey, I play for fun and i do not do any of their "special" events. Heck, I do not even go for gold boxes unless they fall on top of me! So, I went back to April 2019 when the Compliments page got started and took into account the Complaints since then. It still the Complaints outnumber the compliments by 2 to 1. 10 pages Complaints , 5 pages compliments and most of them are probably by people who work for Tanki! And HTML has not been fully implemented yet!

HMMMM. NO! This is not an error but it is a warning that the Website security has expired and it is no longer valid. AND yes your browser will NOT load the pages correctly because it thinks the page is insecure and it poses a threat because it can be hijacked. Tanki will have to fix the expired SSL certificate. It is amazing that they let their SSL certificate expire in the first place! Perhaps the certificate authority did not accept Tankoins!

Hmmmm! I play World of Tanks and War of Warships on different computers and I have no issues whatsoever. Everything looks and behaves the same no matter what computer I use. I guess since they are solely client based, they do not have the issues Tanki has. Oh, by the way. a small note that when entering a battle in either game, you always enter at the start of the battle, teams are evenly matched and you are matched with players of your rank and perhaps one higher rank above you. Not 7 ranks higher that Tanki places you! Food for thought! Come on now! You asking questions that the kiddie developers of Tanki have no clue as to what the answers are!
